Tobias Harris is going to be immortalized in my fantasy career as the guy who got me through some injuries and LeBron benchings to win titles in almost every league in 2013.  I was on this guy at the trade deadline and continue to ride him into the sunset with a twinkle in my eye.
With LeBron yet again benched like I had a feeling he would be, Harris was a monster against his former Bucks going 13-20 (3-4 3PTM) 30 Pts 19 Rebs and 5 Asts. ¬†Harris hit a monster 3 with 1.9 seconds left to send it into OT and put the Magic on his back. ¬†That kinda sounds like a sex move. ¬†There’s something kinda like that called a Houdini, but I’ll let our friends at urban dictionary or something explain that one.
Here’s what else went down last night across the NBA:
John Jenkins –¬†A guy I mentioned a few days ago as I guy I’m interested in, had another solid game in 33 minutes off the bench shooting 8-13 (3-4 3 PTM) 21 Pts 6 Asts and 1 Stl. ¬†The Hawks played a full line-up, so 33 minutes and that line is very encouraging. ¬†Definitely someone to stream down the stretch, luckily I rolled the dice on him last night in one league.
Mike Scott –¬†I also mentioned Scott in that blurb, who made the most of his only 18 minutes last night to shoot 6-10 for a 17-8 game. ¬†This I’m less a believer in, but in deep leagues keep an eye on him as someone to stream.
Thaddeus Young –¬†Made a¬†desperate plea to not be dropped in fantasy leagues (I’m sure that’s all was on his mind last night) by going 28-8-2-1. ¬†Don’t youuuuuuu, forget about meeeeeee.
Mike Miller –¬†Continues to have solid games with no LeBron. ¬†If only the same were true of the Cavaliers. ¬†Miller shot 5-7 (4-6 3 PTM) with 8 Rebs and 1 Ast but 6 TOs. ¬†That’s not such a good Ast/TO ratio…
Ray Allen –¬†Led the Heat in shots last night with 18 for 23 points, but has recently said his ankle is only 80%. ¬†I think he gets some benching as well, and a lot of those shots go to Miller down the stretch.
John Wall –¬†A measly rebound away from a triple-double. ¬†Been cash money down the stretch.¬† Just don’t gamble that money, gambling debts in the Wizards locker room have been known to go sour.
A.J. Price –¬†The money was good for the Price is right, shooting 8-12 for 23 points in 32 minutes off the bench. ¬†Doesn’t do much else, but if you need some deep league scoring, he’s out there virtually everywhere.
John Henson –¬†17 Pts and 25 Rebs with 3 Asts and 7 Blks. ¬†This guy’s wing span must be… Ok it’s huge. ¬†If I hear a Bucks broadcast make another “go-go-gadget” reference I’m gonna go-go-gadget my noose. ¬†Larry Sanders¬†sat out the 2nd half and OT after a hard fall giving Henson 41 minutes, so if Sanders is out even for one game, Henson is a must add.
Brandon Jennings –¬†Hurt his Achilles and played only 6 minutes last night. ¬†With the playoffs looming, Jennings might be another star player who will get lots of ride on the pine. ¬†Stay tuned, but if he misses the Bucks next game I think he’s droppable to stream unless in a keeper obviously.
Doron Lamb –¬†35 minutes off the bench, while the rest of the Magic bench played a total of 24 minutes. ¬†Shot 6-10 for 16 Pts (4-6 from deep) with 4 Rebs 2 Asts and 1 Stl. ¬†Super deep leagues should take notice, I think the Magic give him some good minutes in these last few games. ¬†We saw how well Harris did moving from Milwaukee…
Andre Drummond – Has all the talent in the world and put it together for a 29-11 game last night. ¬†Still can’t hit a free throw though going 9-17 at the line.
Brandon Knight –¬†Right after I endorse him he shoots 2-11. ¬†Still went 7-4-2-1 for a little bit of help, but c’mon hit ya shots.
Jeff Green –¬†Another tough game with Pierce and Garnett back in the line-up, shooting 4-17 for an 11-4-2 line. ¬†At least he’s getting the shots as the next highest shooting Celtic was at only 11 FG attempts, but still isn’t fully gelling in that line-up like people had hoped.
Reggie Evans –¬†Hahaha a starter with one point. ¬†Just looks funny to go 1 Pt 14 Rebs. ¬†Didn’t take a single FG attempt and was 1-4 from the free throw line. ¬†One-trick pony takes new meaning with Evans in fantasy.
Wesley Johnson –¬†Finally back in double-digits as I had hoped, shooting 7-13 (3-8 3 PTM) for 17 Pts 3 Rebs and 1 Ast. ¬†Would’ve hoped for a little more, but with the Suns not sure about anything these days, you take that game.
Brian Roberts –¬†Had another huge game off the bench shooting 6-11 (2-3 3PTM) 20-6-5-2-1. ¬†Crazy that he got a block too! ¬†Greivis Vasquez¬†played only 25 minutes seemingly a little limited still with that ankle injury, so Roberts is a guy I think you can stream the rest of the way.
Will Barton –¬†A little disappointing in his first start, shooting 4-12 and going 9-1-2-2 in 29 minutes. ¬†I think he can improve on that line so I am holding out hope.
Damian Lillard –¬†Had an omen that he could win this game, but the Blazers just fell short. ¬†Still was a demon to the Lakers, going 38-9.
J.J. Hickson –¬†As I suspected, missed this game with a back injury. ¬†I think droppable in all redraft leagues to stream.
Kobe Bryant –¬†47-8-5-3-4 for a huge rainbow line and 18-18 from the FT line. ¬†One of the top lines of the season. ¬†Way to bury the lead JB! ¬†Hey, if Sportscenter is on it, you probably don’t need me to tell ya…
Metta World Peace –¬†Another sub-20 minutes off the bench with only 14 last night. ¬†Probably would rather a lot of the guys mentioned above over MWP.
Corey Brewer –¬†Wooo another guy I got right! ¬†A huge game off the bench shooting 12-25 for 28 Pts 3 Rebs 2 Asts and 1 Stl. ¬†Must own down the stretch.
Wilson Chandler –¬†So is Chandler. ¬†29-8-4-2-1 in 41 minutes as the starting SF with Danilo out.
Lamar Odom –¬†Averaging 8.5 Rebs in his last 4 with 13 last night. ¬†If you need a Reggie Evans-lite to boost your boards, Odom could be your guy.
The finish line is in sight!  If you have any other questions for your lineups as you win that title, shoot your comments below!
