Razzball Nation!  The Trade Deadline is here!  Fantasy Basketball’s most interesting day south of the year change has arrived, and fantasy owners have itchy trigger fingers on their wires, ready to find that newly minted asset after a deal.  Forge me some upside, fantasy gods!  Wait, wait, in no way did I mean to compare NBA GMs to gods…  Vlade Divac is like, “that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me!”

I’m going to try and keep this post updating throughout the trades up through the 3:00 PM EST deadline, then Slim and I will record the Pod and post a little later tonight.  Be sure and keep up with the comments, and break news if you see a deal done before I or another commenter!  Let’s throw around the last-minute rumors, and turn this into a Trade Deadline hub!  Here’s the trades that have gone down so far (not including the Cousins one, which I do think will end up being the biggest deal of the “Trade Deadline” period though…), plus updates throughout the morning and afternoon:

HAWKS GET: Ersan Ilyasova

SIXERS GET: Tiago Splitter

I dunno, there’s swap of 2nd round picks or some crap, but whatever.  Pretty lame trade, all this does is salary dump, and kill Ghostface Ily’s value.  Not that we didn’t expect The Six Foot Turkey to be dealt!  What was the over/under I said for Ilyasova’s points while on the Sixers on the Pod?  I think 16?  Slim laughed!  Ended up 14.8.  Not too shabby!

WIZARDS GET: Bojan Bogdanovic, Chris McCullough

NETS GET: Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton (waived), 2017 1st Round Pick

Ya know, pretty good trade all around.  Wizards get a needed bench-scorer and added 3pt threat, the Nets – ravaged of their draft picks – get a first rounder, albeit probably one in the 20s.  Eh, what can ya do?!  Say goodbye to 12 or 14 team league ThrAGNOFfin’ from Bobo!  St. Nicholson is actually where the intrigue lies here.  If you click on his Razzball player page and scroll down to that awesome-n-handy little Spotrac widget, you’ll see he’s signed for another 3.5 years on that $26 mil deal.  Maybe Wiz spent that on Markieff Morris insurance, but either way, the Nets have a piece they actually are stuck with and are likely giving him minutes.  He might even start!  They’ve shown they hate Trevor Booker (might even be dealing him today), and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is most definitely more a wing, so we could see Ol’ St. Nick start sooner than later.

MAVERICKS GET: Nerlens Noel

SIXERS GET: Justin Anderson, Andrew Bogut, Future 1st Round Pick

Whew, sorry had to leave Razzball for my other “job” there for a minute…  Well, Sixers move on from one of their bigs, and get a decent little haul!  Bogut is meh, but Anderson should play some wing for him, and certainly will be in the rotation.  Might even tinker with him starting until Ben Simmons is playing.  I don’t think he’s a huge upside guy, but can sprinkle in some wing rebounding and D stats.  Maybe RHJ-upside?  Then of course to Noel, who hopefully everyone held on to even in the Sixers doldrums.  30+ MPG, going to get all the help defense he can handle helping out Dirk Nowitzki and getting D stats… Vault him into that 50-75 range with upside to be that top-50 value with a new home.

NETS GET: K.J. McDaniels

ROCKETS GET: Dat $$$$$$$$$$ back

Meh, maybe McDaniels plays a little bit in Brooklyn, but I’m not really that intrigued.  Deep, deep, deep league flier maybe.

NUGGETS GET: Roy Hibbert

BUCKS TAKE: A salary dump

Says it all…

BULLS GET: Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow, Joffrey Lauvergne

THUNDER GET: Doug McDermott, Taj Gibson, 2nd Round Pick

Bulls get their PG of the future!  Def like Payne as a spec add in 12ers or deeper if needing a PG, could be the starter.  Lauvergne should actually be fairly involved as well, with the Bulls getting rid of two forwards.  Interesting for Nikola Mirotic, could he be seeing a big role again?  I don’t see why not…  And Bobby Portis should get a little more run as well, off playing some nice games lately.  For OKC, meh, kinda blah.  McBuckets will hit some 3s and be a scorer, I think he’ll fit more in the 6th man role though, and be just like he is on Chicago – inconsistent ThrAGNOFfy.  Gibson…  Man he’s gonna struggle for a consistent role once Kanter is back.  Good big man depth for them though…  But he can likely go in the majority of leagues.  Nice real-life trade for OKC, although in fantasy this only really helps Payne of the guys in the deal.

RAPTORS GET: P.J. Tucker

SUNS GET: Jared Sullinger, two 2nd Round Picks

Apparently the Suns GM drafted Sullinger, so he might have a little role here.  Although they’re going to of course keep developing Marquese Chriss…  Raptors get another defensive SF/PF guy as they “super” load up.

LAKERS GET: Tyler Ennis

ROCKETS GET:  Marcelo Huertas

Marcelo yawn-tas!  Rockets get a vet, Lakers get a younger guy.  Neither gonna play much.

SUNS GET: Mike Scott

HAWKS GET: $$$$$ and one less felon

Maybe Scott will play some backup minutes and shoot a little, but meh.

Man, what a brutal deadline!  All the best deals happened many days prior!  This is why you don’t bank on trades happening…  Well, hopefully you were able to snag some Payne or Portis shares. or just happened to own Noel.  Rejoice if so!  Have a great weekend, Razzball Nation, and I’ll catch you Monday morning!

    Mannnnnnn,

    Gonna need some help today.

I have Ersan & Bogdanovic. (drafted both)

Probably end up dropping them both after the smoke clears today.

Wire is thin – Frazier, McDermott, Portis, Kilpatrick, Chriss, N. Powell, Ellis, Ingram, Koufos, J. Hernangomez… Anything here ?

Also – Now being offered – Brook Lopez / Dario Saric (who I love right now)

    For my CP3 / Zubac ???

    Current roster –

Wall. Isaiah. George Hill. Seth. CP3.
    Harris. Bogdanovic. Ersan. Lebron.
Howard. Turner. Plumlee. Chandler. Monroe. Zubac

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      (link)

@BILL BLAST: Yeah both are now bench guys, gotta lose em both…. Frazier is a smidge interesting, but def like Chriss as a stash. Juancho is def interesting if Gallo gets moved. Kinda blah past that though… Nahhhh, while you have PG surplus, I would think Paul would get more, especially if you ride him out this first week he’s back and he’s returned to same ol Paul

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@BILL BLAST: The trade. No. Bogdan is definitely toast. My favs on that list… If Denver loses a wing then Juancho is #1. I think Chriss should be getting 30 minutes a night any day now so he’s my #2 (and it appears you are a punt FT team which fits Chriss for now, he’s owned in all my 12er redrafts. #3, man I like Powell, but if they add another wing then he isn’t going to get enough min. #4, between Portis and Monta. I’ll call it need based.

I don’t trust Frazier but I get that he should be getting some minutes finally. McDermott, yawn. Kilpat hurts more than he helps. Ingram, it’s a flier, but someone has to make up for the loss of Lou, why not Ingram. Really all he needs is more USG. Koufos, nah, WCS is probably the guy to own. I’m keeping a close eye on Papagiannis. HE had a real nice run in the DLeague and would basically be Zubac if equal minutes. Not quite the scorer I guess but a pretty darn good shotblocker.

      • BILL BLAST says:
        (link)

Answers are on point as always! Thanks JB & Slim!

Who should I be watching for in Denver to be traded away to make Hernangomez relevant ? Any of Chandler, Gallo, Barton ? Or just Gallo ?

        Most likely making swaps – Bogd/Ersan for Chriss/Juancho …

Also got offered KAT for my Isaiah/Turner.. ? too much for KAT ? I was tempted.

Last but not least, I’m from Boston – so I’m praying Danny Ainge comes thru today!

Big day for the Celtics!! (praying)

        #BleedGreen

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@BILL BLAST: We try man! Barton might not be a big impact, but yeah either of the other two for sure should see a big increase in PT.

It’s a decent offer, but I think I would hold off on that KAT one.

Looks like Paul George is getting into the rumor mill for you guys

          • Shahed says:
            (link)

            @JB Gilpin:
I’m not a Celtics fan, but I don’t know man, does Paul George get you past LeBron, LeBrons still LeBron. Number one picks don’t come around too often.

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:
              (link)

@Shahed: Well, looks like things have fizzled out there… As has most of this deadline, kinda petered out haha

  2. NCPhilly says:
    (link)

Ilyasova trade hurts Bazemore’s faded value even more for fantasy purposes?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@NCPhilly: Maybe a smidge, but Ilya is def gonna be a bench guy… Bazemore’s wing defense will keep him out there

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@NCPhilly: Yeah I’d be more concerned about Thabo or one of the rooks.

  3. E says:
    (link)

Would you trade Jordan Clarkson for Derrick favors? I could use the blocks. My other guards are curry, Eric Gordon, Rubio, Payton, ariza, hardaway.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@E: Most definitely, I know Favors has underperformed and had health stuff, but Clarkson isn’t really that big of an upside guy

  4. Sharo says:
    (link)

Parsons still worth owning? Or drop him for justin anderson or juancho (if denver trades a wing). Feels weird to ask this question haha thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Sharo: Def would go upside of Juancho if Gallo and/or Chandler are traded. Saying they’re still going to baby Parsons isn’t encouraging at all haha

      • Sharo says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: waited for too long on parsons. Now is the perfect time to drop him for someone who has an opportunity opened.

So how about J.Anderson? Drop olynyk or barton for him?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Sharo: Nah, I would hold Olynyk and Barton still… Surprised the Nuggets didn’t make a move… Although still could be filtering through

  5. Mak says:
    (link)

What happens to Noel value with this trade?

    • kostas says:
      (link)

@Mak: Plain and simple it skyrockets :pI’ll leave the details to the experts jb and slim…

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Mak: @kostas: Yup agreed, goes way up. He should flirt with 30 minutes, 1.5 STL/1.5 BLK. Always going to be looming around Dirk to help on defense to get D stats. Good rebounds. It’s a great spot. Might flirt with top-50 ROS as I mentioned above in the last update

        • Mak says:
          (link)

@JB Gilpin: man I can’t decide who I wana keep out of Noel, nurkic or WCS. How would you rank these 3 ROS?

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Mak: I think Noel is the clear pick now. I’ll go Captain N, WCS, Nurk

  6. Mr. Green says:
    (link)

    FINALLY!

Thank goodness Philly traded Noel instead of Okafor. The thought of Noel resigning as an RFA next year to play 20 minutes a game again behind Embiid was frightening. Maybe he finally gets to start and play 30 minutes a game?

    His per 36 of 0 / 16.4 / 9.2 / 1.9 / 2.7 / 1.7 / 1.9 look pretty sweet in Dallas…

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Mr. Green: I expect less points, maybe more like 8 reb, but yeah this is a dynamite spot for him. Very ideal

  7. Scott says:
    (link)

I’ve got Andrew Nicholson in a 20 team dynasty league for $1.
    How did I do?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Scott: Awesome, this could be pretty exciting! Especially with him on a no-talent team and signed for 3.5 more years. I don’t think his upside is “monstrous” but he should be a nice rotational piece

  8. Los Putos says:
    (link)

    My Wall for his Gobert?

Have been rotating bigs all season. (Dieng, Dirk, OQuinn, Olynyk, WCS)

My other Gs are Holiday, Freak, I Thomas, Lou Will, MCConnell.

If made, will prolly drop OQuinn for J Anderson.

    Thanks

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Los Putos: Ehhhhh, I mean, yeah big man is more of a need… I think Wall could bring a smidge more value though. Could you get a sweetener?

  9. John says:

Last hour! Aiming Lawson, Yogi or Ish if someone would make a trade!

    • JB Gilpin

@John: Not looking great for those guys! Although still getting those last second fireworks…

      • John says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

I grabbed Yogi in case of buyout. Dropped Ish but worried he could supplant RJax

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@John: Yup Deron buyout looking very possible. Ish I don’t think passes Rjax still…

            (link)

            @JB Gilpin:
Cool. I hope “we” are right.
Guess I drop Kanter when CP3 gets back (if Yogi starts etc).
            CP3, RJax, Smart, Yogi, Lowry
Leonard, Porter, G Harris, James Johnson
KAT, Horford, Jokic, Adams, Poison Goose, Kanter.
            Yep…I like this team!

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:
              (link)

@John: Wait, why is “we” in quotes?! lol.

Yeah with Taj there, minutes/room in paint might not be all there. Damn, yeah looking really strong! Those bigs are still insane…

              • John says:
                (link)

                @JB Gilpin:

RJax bombed again. Thinking I dropped the wrong guy in Ish. Dang. Kanter was my drop but I put him in IR slot. Too greedy

                • JB Gilpin

                  JB Gilpin says:
                  (link)

@John: Ugh yeah Ish had a crazy dimes game… I still can’t believe they’re going away from him, they might as well have traded him then!

                  • Johnc says:
                    (link)

                    @JB Gilpin

Ish is a mess too with bad fg percentages. I have time but it could be Payne for RJax! Who would have seen that one prior to yesterday?

                    • JB Gilpin

                      JB Gilpin says:
                      (link)

@Johnc: Yeah I dunno man, that was a crazy game. One thought is I think when KCP is hot, he works better next to Ish. But yeah, another game or two of bad Rjax and a big AST game from Ish and it might turn into that kind of move…

  10. COURT-VISION says:
    (link)

I stupidly used up 3 out of 4 of my adds earlier in the extended week and am rationing my last one as the deadline comes. I also have Jeremy Lin on my IL so he’s gonna need a roster slot real soon which means dropping two guys unless i add an injured player and swap the IL. The best candidate for that looks to be Enes Kanter though that maybe only buys me a day or a few days if that. How worth owning is he? Silly for him to be sitting on the wire?

Other players in the pool that seem worth considering are LaVert, KOQ, Portis, Lawson, Kevin Love (could use him for IL but how much time will get even get upon return…), Jennings, A Nicholson, Holmes….

I think id be dropping Tim Frazier for somebody unless Nick Young gets traded and gets a big hit to his value. Ive got:

    Greek Freak
    Bledsoe
    Pat Beverly
    Linsanity (IL)
    Tim Frazier
    KCP
    Tobias Harris
    Fournier
    D Booker
    Swaggy P
    Gordon Hayward
    Beasley
    Millsap
    Favors
    M Turner

Any thoughts on how to use that add? Grab Kanter and swap IL with Lin? Use LaVert as a handcuff for Lin? And who seems most droppable? Im guess Frazier then Swaggy then Beasley…

Thanks! Maybe half these questions become clear in the next hour!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@COURT-VISION: Maybe not “silly” for Kanter, but he should prob be owned. Meh, yeah pass on Love. Yeah Frazier can probably go, then yeah, Swaggy 2nd and probably Beasley 3rd. If Lin is for sure playing right out of the gate, then yeah, I would swap him out with Kanter, drop Frazier, then re-add LaVert

      • COURT-VISION says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: THanks JB! Same recipe now that Payne is in the mix?

PS. Now Lin is not IL listed so gotta drop two players to add one. F$&%K!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@COURT-VISION: Def get Payne. I’d def take him. So yeah would drop Frazier and Lou, activate Lin, IL Kanter, and add Payne. You can rename me WAIVERWIRE-VISION!

          • COURT-VISION says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: Good deal WV Gilpin. Problem is i only have one add so i really screwed it. If i add Kanter i have a hole in my roster the rest of the week and cant add Payne or anyone else. So its either Add Kanter and stop there or add Payne or someone else after dropping Frazier and Swaggy (and passing on Kanter). Shite. What id give for one add back.

            • COURT-VISION says:
              (link)

@COURT-VISION: Looks like Bobby Portis is going fastest of all on Yahoo.

              • JB Gilpin

                JB Gilpin says:
                (link)

@COURT-VISION: Haha any time! Ohhhhh yeah I forgot that part… Mannn, I really like Payne, and you have good bigs. For this squad, I would add him over Portis

  11. Jeremy says:
    (link)

If McDermott goes to OKC would you drop either Seth Curry or Buddy Heild for him? If he’s starting could be a pretty excellent source of 3s. I like seth but he’s been slowing down lately. I want to see what Hield can do but who knows with SAC

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Jeremy: I’d be OK switching Curry out for him to see what happens, but I don’t see McDermott being a huge value there in OKC. Agree, wanna see what kind of crazy USG Hield might get in SAC

      • Jeremy says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Eh Deron Williams reportedly buyout candidate, that probably keeps things pretty open for Seth

        • Jeremy says:
          (link)

@Jeremy: And Roberson staying in OKC

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Jeremy: I think Deron opens things more up for Yogi, kinda status quo for Seth. And yeah I think McDermott is a 6th man, but could still flirt with like 27-28 mins

            • Jeremy says:
              (link)

@JB Gilpin: Yeah I mean defintiely more for Yogi but Seth’s production seemed to drop when he came back for a bit towards the end there either way not much change

              • JB Gilpin

                JB Gilpin says:
                (link)

@Jeremy: True thats a good point, a lot more ballhoggin on the perimeter with Deron around…

  12. Hamtime says:
    (link)

Knight looking like he’s staying put. You like – holmes, mcdaniels, juancho, delly, Nicholson in a 16m?

Drop dwill for – chriss, j Anderson, juancho in a 14m?

    • Hamtime says:
      (link)

@Hamtime: how about Payne as a spec add?

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Hamtime: Def get Payne, ASAP! Juancho is a little interesting, but no DEN trades… At least yet. Dwill can def go for Payne

        • Hamtime says:
          (link)

@JB Gilpin: got payne in my 16m. He’s still available in my 14m but I already have Lowry Bledsoe brogdon and Lin. May need to drop dwill for a big. Portis and kanter both gone. You like Chriss as an add or Justin Anderson? Or is Payne more valuable than brogdon, who I could drop for a pf/c?

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Hamtime: I’m a big Payne fan, add him over Brogdon. I’m not huge on Anderson, I think I would get Chriss first

  13. Larry says:
    (link)

Get Payne or Warren? Dropping Yogi and TJ , ahould I get both? Or just yogi for one of them?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Larry: Def Payne, I think upside to start there is nice. And would hold Yogi to see if this buyout happens

      • Larry says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:
Didn’t make any moves yet, and the buyout happened. So is McConnell my drop for Payne?
My team (16 team H2H, 9-cat): Harden, Bledsoe, McConnell, Yogi, G. Harris, Fournier, RoCo, Noel, RoLo, Gobert.
Kanter, Mirotic, J-Rich, Ingram, Chriss, Kaminsky, and Roberson also available. RoLo a hold or swap him for Kanter? Does the Gibson trade affect him?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Larry: yeah I think so, you have good AST, so McConnell can go. I dunno, maybe no Taj down low will help Rolo some? I think it’s worth seeing how Rolo looks a game or two before swapping to those guys, since big man/BLK help are needs

  14. Joel says:
    (link)

As a Nets fan I’m stoked about KJ haha been a big fan since his sixers days. I guess he’s a wait and see for fantasy, but I like him. You like hield or Payne more or bobby Portis for overall value. My percentages could go either way. Also have Hood and Nance as potential drops

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Joel: Well, yeah there could be potential here. Can play D and hit some treys. I just dunno though, he’s never really taken a step up any time. I’d def have Payne owned. Whewwwww, Hield or Portis… Close, both kinda interesting. I’d prob lose Nance for Portis and see what Hield can do

  15. BILL BLAST says:
    (link)

Does PJ Tucker out of town open anything up for Chriss ??

And Wilson Chandler gone, time to grab Juancho ??

Bogdanovic & Ersan on the chopping block.

Is it time for both ?

    • BILL BLAST says:
      (link)

@BILL BLAST: Or Payne over either ?

      • BILL BLAST says:
        (link)

@BILL BLAST: NVM the Wilson Chandler, thought he got moved..

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@BILL BLAST: Maybe a little for Chriss, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sullinger play some too. Maybe TJ Warren gets a little more run/consistency.

Def losing Bobo And Ersan for Payne and Chriss though

  16. E says:

@E: Yup, seeing that too. I’d likely just let him walk, I don’t see him landing in a big minute role

  17. Drob says:

Is Portis a must add in 12ers? I’m using a FT punt strategy and could drop JayMichal Green or Brogdon…

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Drob: Maybe not quite a “must add”, but I would add him over either of those guys

  18. TT says:
    (link)

Pick up Kanter (after the Taj Gibson trade) or stay with Tim Hardaway Jr.?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@TT: Depends on need, if you need a big and not so much a guard, I would be OK making that swap

  19. Saints says:
    (link)

In a dynasty would you try to trade away randle to get noel ?

    • Cash says:
      (link)

      @Saints: I would

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Saints: @Cash: Oh absolutely. I would take Noel

  20. Cash says:
    (link)

    12 team h2h 9 cat
G: Steph, Lowry, Jameer, Elfrid, Wesley, Tim Hardaway
    F: Bazemore, Crowder, Parsons, Tyreke
    C: Nurkic, Brook, Favors

Josh rich, chriss, juancho, portis, and ingram on the wire. You like any of them over elfrid, parsons, or favors? Thanks I’m sure you have a very busy day

    • Cash says:
      (link)

      @Cash: Also cameron payne available

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Cash: Hah yeah, work a 9-5, keep a live post updating, then podcast right when you’re home. It was hectic, but love this stuff man! Parsons can go. You need big more than PG, I would snag Portis. With your nice 3s, I’m debating Payne over Timmy Jr. too…

  21. Johnc says:
    (link)

Odd trade just went down. Gobert for Waiters, T Harris and Carroll. I am having a hard time with the valuations here. New Gobert owner can scoop up guys like Portis, Chriss, JMike, Zubac off the wire as well. Thoughts?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Johnc: Pretty terrible deal, def prefer Gobert side especially in a league with good wire options. I guess Gobert owner had too many bigs? I never veto trades, but it’s not a good one for sure

  22. WildFire says:
    (link)

There’s several FAs I wanna add but can’t figure out who I should drop ..

    8 category H2H Each league

    Current-
Kyrie, Kemba, Holliday, Smart, Jameer, Beal, Wiggins, Thaddeus, Aldridge, Ibaka, Adams, Randolph, KAT

Available FAs- Yogi, Middleton, Aaron Gordon, WCS, Lin

Is there anyone you’d recommend adding/dropping?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@WildFire: Whoa, yeah too many good options! I would lose Randolph for Middleton, and run and do that one. WCS I think fits you, might lose either Smart or Thad for him. And yeah could use 3s, Yogi kinda fits too. Just losing Smart and Thad kills your steals… Just with Avery B coming back soon (we think), I think Smart goes down, so would lose him first for WCS then probably end it there

  23. Everybody Loves Draymond says:
    (link)

Josh Richardson, Portis, Payne and Chriss are all available on ww.

Swap them for Taj, Parsons, or Bazemore?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Everybody Loves Draymond: Def losing Taj and Parsons for Portis and Payne. Prob would swap out Bazemore for Chriss too, or J Rich depending on the bigger positional need

  24. Miracle on 34th street says:
    (link)

Hey JB ! Good day … in a 9 cat don’t use TO no IL 3 bench spots and 4 add/drops a week. I think I won the rebound cat twice all year and as well as points and FG made have been a lost cause. 3 pt not to much of a chance. If you haven’t already figured out i’m fighting for the last playoff spot so I don’t have much of a chance but I’d like to finish off strong. some free agents are Payne, Lin, LaVert, Chriss, Kanter, Jancho….drop ROLO for Kanter?? What sort of moves might you make ?

guards …schrodder, TJ connell, tyler johnson, cj miles , gary harris
forwards, anythony davis, draymond, horford, favors, josh richardson, mason plumee
    centers… robin lopez n turkic

Thx for your help as usual !!

    • Miracle on 34th street says:
      (link)

@Miracle on 34th street: Portis is a FA as well I forgot about him

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Miracle on 34th street: Hey man, what’s up?! Hmmm, still iffy on Kanter coming back with Taj there now. Def losing Miles and Plumlee for Kanter and Portis. And yeah, I would swap McConnell for Payne. I just see so much upside there

  25. Miracle on 34th street says:
    (link)

Portis just got scooped up, damn. And 1 other change I don’t have CJ miles either I have Tim Frazier instead.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Miracle on 34th street: Ah, so I would still do the above and lose Frazier, I just don’t see much there. Although I know this might get you overyour 4 moves limit…

  26. Game of Zones says:

ROS please rank h2h 9 catg standard league, Chriss, Parsons, zubec, payne, Anderson, Portis

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Game of Zones: In a vacuum, I’ll go Payne, Portis, Anderson, Chriss, Zubac, Parsons. Chriss I think in a few weeks might go up to #3 or even #2

  27. marimon says:
    (link)

Who do I lose for Payne, Norma Powell or Frye? thx

    • marimon says:
      (link)

      @marimon: TJ Warren also available

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@marimon: Would prefer to lose Powell, def adding Payne. Frye vs. Warren… Comes down to 3pt need, if you have good treys, I’d prob take gamble on Warren

  28. Jerry says:
    (link)

Hey, JB. Would you trade Elfrid and Clint Capela for Nurkic and either Waiters or Marcus Morris in a points league? Thanks for the help!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Jerry: I actually do really like Waiters in points… It’s razor close he and Nurk for that deal, ya know what, I say go for it!

  29. miles proudfoot says:
    (link)

Thanks for the breakdowns on trades! Thad Young looks to still be injured. In a shallow league drop him for Nurkic? He may get claimed if I drop him, liked the steals, but it’s a pretty good wire.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@miles proudfoot: Got ya on todays! Yeah I would make that swap, Nurk looked good last night

  30. Eazy E says:
    (link)

Yo, JB! I was offered Evan The Virgin for my Pau Gasol. Who do you think would have a better second half? I’ve got my sights on nothing less than the championship. Thanks in advance!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Eazy E: If you have a good stable of bigs, I would absolutely make that deal. Even though I’m not too worried about minutes for Pau because his injury wasn’t to his leg or anything to ease back from, i still think he could get dnps in fantasy playoffs

      • Eazy E says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: thought so too. Just needed your concurrence. Thanks as always!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Eazy E: Concurrence any time! Haha

  31. Jenny says:
    (link)

G: Jrue Holiday, Tim Hardaway Jr, Kemba Walker
F; Gallo, Barton, RHJ, Harris, Wilson Chandler, Khris Middleton, Covington
    C: Favors, Nurkic, Milssap, AD

Wilson Chandler is on my injury spot.
Probably dropping Tim Hardaway Jr? Or anyone else i should drop, wire looks like this:

Justin Anderson, Cameron Payne, Buddy Hield, Ish Smith, Caroll, Mirotic, Rondo, E’twaun moore

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@Jenny: Man Miro is looking good, and stil think payne could start… But yea for now, just losing Timmy J to activate Wilson
