You want an early buy (or a repeat)? Throw down some nickels and make a purchase of one Tyler Zeller. His 16 points yesterday were the first since January 19, but the 9 rebounds, 4 assists and a block were not out of the ordinary. He’s had a block in five straight games, is averaging 7 rebounds in the past six games, and has 3 or 4 assists in four games this month. I wouldn’t own him for offense, but he could help you in many other ways. Let him inspire your fantasy team! WAH…TUH!

Ty Lawson – He had quite the night with 26 points on 8 of 11 shooting, including a perfect 5 attempts from downtown, plus 2 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals. I think his first name is short for Tyrannosaurus.

Jose Calderon – Being in Detroit is a punishment Jose didn’t deserve, but he’s still doing well. Last night, he hit 9 of 17 (6 of 9 from beyond the perimeter), adding 4 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal and a block.

Ricky Rubio – Despite abysmal shooting (3 of 13), he went to the free throw line 13 times and finished with 18 points. In addition, he nearly had a triple double by throwing in 9 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals and 1 block. He put pie on my face! At least, I hope it’s pie.

Will Bynum – I recommended him in daily leagues, and he exploded for 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists. What a nice Valentine from me to you from Bynum, and now we have a love triangle.

Emeka Okafor – Speaking of yesterday’s DraftKings post, I lead with Emeka and he did Oka-for the night, accumulating 20 points, 9 rebounds and an assist. Unlike a Lexus, that pun is giving me some mileage.

Nicolas Batum – He tallied 3 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks. He has shot 3 of 15 in back to back nights, including 2 of 9 from downtown. Why does your love have to hurt? Of course, the team as a whole only scored 63. Do you even pass your class if you get a 63? What is that, a D-?

Derrick Williams – Derrick earned 24 points, 16 rebounds, and a block. He even hit 2 threes. The fact is, give him 30 minutes on the court and he’ll give you 15/9, or thereabouts. Like a broken abacus, too bad you can’t count on that.

Joakim Noah – Despite his plantar sunflower seeditis whatever, he has been coming out and playing insane minutes. Last night, he played 43 and finished with 10 points, 16 boards, 2 assists, a steal and 2 blocks. Solid!

Kawhi Leonard – Did you forget about him? He’s only 62% owned, even though he’s been having a hot and heavy February. Last night he earned 13 points, 10 rebounds, 2 dimes, 4 blocks and a takeaway, and he is averaging 16/7 with 2 steals and the occassional assist and block. Sometimes the blocks come in honey bunches of oats, but whether roto or H2H, that’s fine. What does it matter if he has 2 games with goose eggs and then blocks 3 on a Sunday?

Samuel Dalembert – The talk of his fantasy value decreasing hasn’t happened yet, thanks to various ailments that keep plaguing Milwaukee. That cheese has curdled! Sammy double doubled with 17 points, 14 boards, 2 assists and 3 steals. Ride him while he’s hot.
