Don't be shellfish...Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterShare on Google+

It’s that time of year – where even the die-hardest fantasy basketball fan gets their bracket pool together one the best tournament in all sports. You know it’s true.  And you know it’s still fantasy. I can fantasize over another UNC title in one of the most unlikely runs in tournament history…. OK so Kentucky fans don’t have that luxury, but they can suck it up!

Challenge yours truly in the ultimate Razzball Nation pool right here.  Winner will get some well-deserved Razzball love (who doesn’t wanna get absolutely smothered in it?) and I’ll keep up with some status updates as we plow through the fantasy playoffs.

My bracket is already up, and apparently I think it will be all Big East and Big Ten. Last hurrah for the former Big East soon to be the Small-to-Medium East. Gimme G’Town! It’s really anybody’s year, although I doubt my hometown Davidson Wildcats can do as much damage as the Curry years. Now that was March Madness!

Good luck Razzball Nation!

    Good morning JB,
I hope you had a fun St. Patrick’s Day celebration. I’m thinking I should have called into work today.
So, I have been using a nice rotation of dropping and adding Vince Carter, Kawhi Leonard, and Tobias Harris for a while now and its paid off. KL gave me 60 fantasy points two nights ago. Nice. Ok, so now I have locked up the #2 seed for the playoffs which start next week. It means I have two weeks to prepare for the second round of playoffs. I am done with Carter as I don’t see him helping me much at this point and I have a lot of time for Kevin Garnett to heal up. However, do I roll with Leonard or Harris? I have Harris now and no one has grabbed Leonard yet.
    Thanks bro.
    Rich D.

@Rich D.: morning man! I hear ya there, luckily I work nights and get to putz around all day. Hmmm your quandary is a tough one as they are both two of my favorite man crushes right now… I think I would roll Kawhi. Spurs will need him to fill up points with guys rested, a few extra steals and a little safer too.

Yeah, I was definitely leaning that way, too. Also, AK-47 is available. Yes, I know he can get hurt at any point, but if he’s still out there after two more weeks, I think I am going to get him just to increase the overall games played for my team.

@Rich D.: I’m a notorious AK hater because of the health and inconsistencies, but I would not fault that move at all. Still would probably have Kawhi though, but that’s a little bias shining through.

Drop Jeff Green and add Marcus Thornton for some Tuesday streaming or is Green too good to cut? Playoffs started tonight for me. 10-team league

@Wallpaper Paterson: The way Green is playing right now against the Heat (8-10 22 Pts already at this point) I think you have to hold onto him.

@JB Gilpin: Yeah, I would not get him back.

morning.. Damn my guys are doin horrible. I have a buy but still this is the wrong time to do this. Yesterday, George hill, Turner n Ariza did horrible. I need to get rid of Ariza. I know u said Corey Webster But I just Realized I already have 2 players on Denver. Gallinari and Lawson. Does that matter or should I keep looking? Also, I read Rose’s info and they said the next 3 games or within the 7 game stand. Nice!!!

@Frank Lynch: Haha I was gonna keep lettin’ it slide, but need to fix ya. It’s a “bye” week, not a “buy” week haha. All good, just grindin’ ya gears. Wait Corey Brewer or Martell Webster? Seems you have combined them. That’d be a sick player though… I do love them both, I wouldn’t fault those moves, the way he’s shooting right now I add Webster first if he’s out there. I should write in my stuff that Derrick Rose will “either be back this season or next season.” Haha.

Have T. Evans and West with injury issues. This is not good. Koufos is available. Get him or hope West is okay in another day?

@Wallpaper Paterson: I think West will be OK. Back spasms can be tough, but they can also alleviate quickly. He might be out again tonight (back-to-back games) but I’d expect West to return for the next Pacers game barring any setbacks.

Danny Green for 3 games or Dorrell Wright for 4 games next week?

Thinking about 3s, stls and fg%

@Zandy: It’s pretty close, but man has Green fallen off… I think I actually go Wright with the additional game.

Just wanna throw up a couple more names on the wire if u don’t think I should pick up Webster.. Maybe Stuckey or Antawn Jamison? IDK anymore. lol

@Frank Lynch: Stuckey was pretty Shitty last night. I’d hold onto Ariza over those guys.

Lol funny man… Yeah I’m talking about Webster on Denver. Do u like him? The thing is that i already have Lawson n Gallinari, should i still grab him over Ariza? And also is it good to have 3 players that r on the same team?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@Frank Lynch: You mean Brewer on Denver? Lol. Yea I like him a lot, I don’t mind that move. Having 3 players on the same team makes no real difference, other than if Gallinari is super hot it may limit Brewer’s shots and minutes a minuscule amount, but not to the point where it’d be of much concern.

So put him in for Ariza or Martin??
