Klay Thompson was not having a good start to the 2018 season. He had failed to reach the 20-point mark in any of the first seven games and was shooting under 40% from the field and 14% from downtown. Klay is a career 45% shooter from the field and 42% from beyond the arc. Regression hit hard and heavy last night, though.

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
525010214/2418/292/2

The third time he has eclipsed the 50-point barrier in his career and the third time he has notched a record: 11 three-pointers during a playoff game (2016), 37 points in a quarter (2016), and the 14 threeecolas last night bested his teammate, Steph Curry, who held the previous record of 13 (2016). Klay has some of the most ridiculous heaters I’ve ever seen. Anyways, for fantasy, he’s currently the 76th player according to Basketball Monster. The minutes are down, assists are down, threeecolas are down, and field goal percentage is down. The only concern would be the minutes and assists, but the shooting will come around. He’s just too good, and reminded us all in a big way last night.

Here’s what else I saw last night:

Andrew Wiggins did not play due a quad contusion.

Anthony Davis did not play due to an elbow injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play due to a concussion.

Kawhi Leonard did not play due to rest.

Taurean Prince

A performance befitting a….? That’s why Taurean is a Prince and not a King.

Trae Young

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
11280001/65/130

Welcome to Six Flags Magic Mountain. The Trae Young has some of the largest inclines and descents in the roller coaster universe. Enjoy! We know what Trae is, an inefficient shooter, but he is an underrated passer. There were many during the draft process that highlighted his awareness and ability to deliver the ball in a way not many could. Unfortunately, those voices were too few. Anyways, here’s your nightly nutmeg from Trae.

Kent Bazemore

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
18312222/57/162/5

And next to the Trae Young at Six Flags is the Kent Bazemore. Went for 18 last night, 8 the game before, and 32 the game before that. Fun times! Bazemore does have a higher floor than Trae due to his ability to contribute in the D stats. 1.6 steals and 0.6 blocks to go along with 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2 threeecolas ain’t bad.

Dewayne Dedmon

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
11501001/24/82/2

Played 23 minutes off the bench. Since returning from injury, Dedmon has played 14, 27, and 23 minutes. Dedmon averaged 25 minutes a game last season, and that will probably be his ceiling for this year. Boards with some blocks and a threeecola sprinkled in are what you can expect.

Robert Covington

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
11613233/94/120

The Lord couldn’t decide whether to taketh or giveth last night. So he did his usual both, contributing across the board while taking some horrific shots.

Joel Embiid

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
10660240/23/94/4

The Hawks social media account begged the team to not let Embiid be the one to beat them. Hawks social media director has some serious pull within the organization. Don’t fret Embiid owners. He was being double-teamed and the game was a blowout.

Ben Simmons

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
2112901208/115/5

Aaaaaallllllmost messed around. Imagine Bruce Lee fighting a swarm of enemies without using his arms. Only legs. That’s Ben Simmons on the basketball court. Granted, Bruce Lee has the capacity to use his arms, but that’s just semantics.

Markelle Fultz

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
16470011/57/161/2

Played 25 minutes. You play Fultz if you think the game will blow out. If you think it will be competitive, you sit him. EZ PZ.

Landry Shamet

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
13121012/54/83/3

Fultz with a jumpshot. I kid, but the situation is the same. Scroll up two clicks on the mouse and read. EZ PZ.

JJ Redick

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
14832134/114/152/2

Played 25 minutes. Pppphhhhhfffff. Just a three-point specialist they said? Hmmmpph.

TJ McConnell

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
24100201/30

Played 6 minutes. Ideal game situation for TJ. The team won, he got to play, but didn’t sweat enough to mess up his hair.

D’Angelo Russell

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT

Still Loading….

Caris LeVert

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
4252020/62/110

Only garnered a 19.1 usage rate and had his first real stinker of the season. In order to appreciate the good, one must experience the bad. Ooohhhmmmmmm.

Jarrett Allen

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
7630200/12/63/4

Inconsistent, both in production and minutes, Allen is a b&b player: blocks and boards. Let’s remember, he’s still only 20 freaking years old.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
16701210/18/150

Played 27 minutes. My favorite Rondae is back! Expect points, boards, and D stats. Y’all ready? Monday. Tuesday. Wednesday. Thursday. Friday. Saturday. Sunday. Rondae!!!

Spencer Dinwiddie and Allen Crabbe both played 25 minutes and look to be settling there. Dinwiddie scored 17 while Crabbe scored 8. Dinwiddie does chip in some dimes while Crabbe is all about the threeecolas. Don’t expect great shooting efficiency from either.

Noah Vonleh

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
81021110/13/62/2

Got the start and played 29 minutes. Not a high-volume or usage player, Vonleh fills up the stat sheet. In two consecutive starts, he’s scored 15 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out 6 dimes, blocked 2, stolen 3, and even drained a threeecola. If you need a big man, add him and see where he takes you.

Frank Ntilikina

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
16540103/55/133/3

Played 32 minutes. Is it happening? The D is there, but if he can continue to develop his offensive game, then it’s on.

Tim Hardaway Jr.

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
25581023/88/196/7

He’s the alpha of the Knicks right now and is going to shoot. Then shoot some more. Then keep shooting. Until his arm falls off, but I’m sure will still find a way to get his shot up. Don’t expect the 8 dimes on a regular basis, but he is averaging close to 3 a game.

Enes Kanter

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
1515210607/131/1

Played 26 minutes off the bench and still got his double-dub on. That’s six in seven games for those of you keeping score at home.

Mitchell Robinson

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
113111005/51/2

Did all that in 15 minutes. Kanter is going to limit any ceiling Robinson has.

Kyle Kuzma

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
19630002/78/181/2

I love Kuzma. He’s exciting to watch and his skill set is impressive for a man of his size. With that said, he’s not the greatest fantasy asset. Sure, he will score and drain threeecolas, but that’s about it.

LeBron James

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
291072253/611/234/5

Played 36 minutes and had a 27.6 usage rate, which shockingly wasn’t the highest rate on the team. He’s averaging 27.3 points, 9 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 2 steals per game! LeGood.

Brandon Ingram

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
24520343/59/183/4

Played 25 minutes due to foul trouble, but led the Lakers with a 36.4 usage rate. Dayam. Good to have you back Brandon. Now, don’t go punching anyone.

JaVale McGee

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
135023306/81/2

Played 31 minutes. Remember when I said he probably wouldn’t see more than 20 minutes of run a game? Hey! Look over there. There’s a guy in a spider suit swinging in the sky with webs attached to the clouds.

Lonzo Ball

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
4110010/42/60

bbb.

Rajon Rondo

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
13680041/26/90

Played 32 minutes. Rondo is productive when he plays. With Lonzo back, the minutes will be inconsistent, though.

Josh Hart

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
5611001/42/80

Has cooled off after the blistering start. He wasn’t going to shoot over 50% for the whole season. With that said, he does grab boards and gets his 211 on (2 steals per game!), so the floor is relatively high. The one possible concern is that he only played 24 minutes, after getting 36 and 32 the prior two games. With Ingram back, the 25 minute range may be where he settles.

Karl-Anthony Towns

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
251661453/67/188/8

Now that’s the KAT we all know. Meow. He wasn’t going to be a POS the entire season, but the matchup with McGee didn’t hurt. Do you know who knew? Beep. Boop. Bop. The Stocktonator, of course. It had KAT as it’s #10 player last night.

Jimmy Butler

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
32641206/712/202/2

Josh Okogie

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
17433101/56/134/4

Got the start and played 30 minutes, as Andrew Wiggins was not able to play. 4 years, $147 million. That is not an Okogie contract. The rookie looks good and has been contributing across the board when given time. Unfortunately, time is going to be tough to come by outside of injuries or rest for other players.

Derrick Rose

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
11770020/14/163/5

Played 29 minutes. Rose is the guy that knows he’s lost some juice, but channels his inner little engine that could and says, “I think I can. I think I can.” Points, rebounds, and assists, but will tank your field goal percentage.

Harrison Barnes

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
18711022/58/140/1

He’s heating up…..to mediocrity.

Luka Doncic

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
31841164/611/185/6

Y’all know my love for Luka knows no bounds. It’s going to be fun owning him all year.

DeAndre Jordan

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
818211304/60/2

All is right with the world, as DJ went 0-for-2 from the charity stripe. Was getting worried I was in a parallel universe for a sec.

Dennis Smith Jr.

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
22142041/69/183/4

Has gone 27-for-49 in his last three games. We’ve been begging for the efficiency for some time now, so it’s great to see. He’s not shooting 55% all year, though. With Luka running the offense and DJ diving to the rim, DSJ should get plenty of open looks. Wish he would contribute more in the periphery cats, though.

Rudy Gay

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
151146072/26/131/2

Played 40 minutes! 6 steals! I take back what I said about living in a parallel universe. Man, Gay has scored double digits in every game this season and has double-dubbed in three straight. It’s a time to be Gay.

DeMar DeRozan

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
34693020/112/2110/10

I was wrong. So terribly wrong. I am man enough to admit a mistake. Now, I shall go collect the seppuku knives from my closet and bid adieu.

Bryn Forbes

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
12011022/55/110

Played 30 minutes and continues to start at point guard. Forbes ain’t making anyone rich, as he’s not contributing in any of the periphery cats.

Nikola Mirotic

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
171023123/117/170/2

Niiikola with the threeecolas. Not the greatest shooting night, but stuffed that stat sheet.

Jahlil Okafor got the start for AD and played 18 minutes. Scored 9 points and grabbed 3 rebounds. He, of course, did not provide the D. I refuse to give him a stat box.

Jrue Holiday

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
16891152/37/130

Is usually the guy that balls out when AD doesn’t play, but last night was Mirotic’s day.

Julius Randle

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
248611508/138/11

Played 27 minutes off the bench. I also faded Randle in the offseason. I guess it’s good that I’m writing this from the afterlife after performing seppuku earlier.

Paul Millsap

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
18831132/46/124/4

He’s starting to get into a groove, as in….one game good shooting, next game poor shooting, then next game good shooting. I have faith that Millsap will get his shot going more consistently. The nice thing is that when he does have a poor shooting night, he’s still grabbing boards and providing blocks and steals.

Nikola Jokic

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
129100202/43/84/4

Shot poorly, but almost messed around with zero turnovers. Oh, by the way, the Nuggets still won. What a Jokic!

Jamal Murray

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
23525132/59/193/3

“Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful” – Warren Buffet. That buy-low window for Jamal is sayonara.

Gary Harris

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
23662101/38/166/8

I feel like Harris and Khris Middleton are the two most underrated players in fantasy. Am I tripping?

Malik Beasley

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
12620012/65/90

Played 31 minutes and made some critical plays down the stretch. Prior to last night, Beasley had played 11, 19, 11, 11, 8, and 12 minutes. I’d say nothing to see here, but someone to keep in the mental rolodex….just in case.

Monte Morris

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
7020321/43/90

Played 24 minutes. Has averaged around 25 minutes over the past four games. Is jacking up close to 10 shots per game and has been contributing dimes and steals (back-to-back games with 3 steals).

Serge Ibaka

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
30910102/512/214/4

Was it vintage night yesterday? So many old timers were turning back the clock. Anyways, with Kawhi sitting, Serge said, “Jump on my back fellas. I shall take us to the promised land.” Raptors lost to the Bucks 109-124.

Pascal Siakam

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
22824120/410/162/3

Holy shit balls! I actually got one right! I love Siakam and hope he continues to get the 33 minutes he received last night.

Kyle Lowry

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
96152240/93/143/5

Worst shooting game so far for Lowry. No Kawhi and the Bucks D is really freaking good. But look at the contributions in the periphery cats? Super high floor.

Ersan Ilyasova

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
191020013/68/120

No Giannis? Budenholzer doesn’t break a sweat, as he knows he’s got Ilyasova. Played 24 minutes and led the team in scoring.

Thon Maker

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
11720122/44/71/2

You know things are going well when Thon gets 23 minutes of run and puts up 11 & 7.

The Warriors scored 92 points in the first half and led 42. Final score was 149-124 over the Bulls. No blurbs for anyone!

Nemanja Bjelica

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
19552113/77/152/4

Played 33 minutes. Is the 20th overall player according to Basketball Monster. He does it all. The only things you have to remember are that he plays when the games are competitive and sits during blowouts, which is Marvin Bagley III time.

Willie Cauley-Stein

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
26131010011/174/7

At least there’s one Willie that’s been freed this season. Cauley-Stein has double-dubbed in three straight games and is doing his best to try and get paid. The 1.2 steals are nice but 0.3 blocks?

De’Aaron Fox

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
20482161/28/153/5

Fox has been playing very well and done a great job orchestrating the uptempo offense. The high turnovers and low free throw percentage have been killing his fantasy value, though.

Buddy Hield

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
23852134/68/143/4

Played 36 minutes. Shooting 50% from the field and 42% from downtown. The 5 rebounds are lovely from the guard position. Regression should be expected, though. He’s a career 44% shooter from the field and 41% from beyond the arc. The career rebound rate is 3.6. Plus, when Bogdan Bogdanovic returns, he may cede some time.

Kelly Olynyk

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
3201121/51/70

Received around 15 minutes in each of the first three games of the season. Then, he got 29 and 30 minutes and balled out. So, of course, he received 16 minutes last night. <shrug emoji>

Hassan Whiteside

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
1624025607/102/6

A Mt. Whiteside eruption! It would’ve been nice if someone or something warned us. Beep. Boop. Bop. The Stocktonator did, as it had Hassan as it’s #14 player last night.

Josh Richardson

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
31302304/1010/217/7

My RichardSON!!! He always brings the D, which serves him well down in Miami, but if he gets the O going? Use your imagination. Currently a top 50 player according to Basketball Monster.

Al-Farouq Aminu

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
111001021/33/84/4

Plays around 29 minutes a game and averages 8.8 rebounds per.

Jusuf Nurkic

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
5520021/22/60

Only played 18 minutes. Got into early foul trouble then had to watch Zach Collins ball the F out.

Zach Collins

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
17330111/27/102/2

Played 27 minutes. Collins is a favorite here at Razzball. He’s a big that hustles, has agility, and can stretch the floor with his J. It looks like he’s ready. Will he get significant minutes?

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum both had quiet nights, scoring 16 and 17 points respectively. Trail Blazers still won 103-93 over the Pacers.

Caleb “Biggie” Swanigan

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
1110110304/63/3

Played 19 minutes. He had played a total of 3 minutes prior to last night.

Evan Turner

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
13831011/16/90/1

Played 26 minutes and has been leading the second unit. It seems that Stotts is not staggering Dame and CJ as much this year.

Victor Oladipo

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
21971012/69/241/1

Not bad, but not good enough to break out the Oladipo Ho!

Darren Collison

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
17262000/18/141/2

Played 36 minutes. I’m not a big Collison fan, but he’s played 36 and 30 minutes in the last two games and dished out 6 dimes in each. He had been averaging around 24 minutes prior.

Myles Turner

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
10911300/15/120/4

The disappointment continues but….I will continue to walk 500 Myles. He’s still only 22 years old. I need to copy and paste that for next year.

Tyreke Evans

PTSREBASTSTLBLKTOV3PTFGFT
7001021/22/52/2

Played 15 minutes. Averaging 21.2 for the season. Just not getting enough run to make an impact.
