I’ve posted that song at least three times since I’ve been at Razzball and…..it never gets old and always hits the spot. Anyways, I’m recharged and I know all you degenerates are itching for hoops to be back. Now, it’s #winningtime now, as the fantasy playoffs are just around the corner. Check the playoff schedules and stream, stream, then stream some more. The more minutes and counting stats you can accumulate, the better your chances for achieving fantasy glory. Josh Lloyd over at BasketballMonster.com put it best: some days are better to stream than others. When there’s a full slate of games, your best players will be active, leaving no room for streamers. You want to stream on days when the slate is small or teams are on back-to-backs. Utilize that wisdom to gain an advantage.

Here’s what I saw last night:

Giannis Antetokounmpo

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
33 16 4 3 1 2 0/3 13/23 7/11

In 32 minutes. On the season, he’s averaging 30.9 minutes per game. LOL! The Universe keeps blocking him from achieving fantasy glory, but G is going to turn that U upside down, to make it frown. G is on pace to be a 1/1/1 member with 30 points, 13.5 boards, and 5.8 dimes per game. LOL! The usage rate is 38.5! The one bugaboo, which is quite a big one, is the free throw shooting, which is at 61% on 10.4 attempts. As a result, he’s a top 30 player.

Khris Middleton

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
28 8 3 1 0 0 4/5 11/18 2/2

Warm it up, Khris! He already did. Not only has he warmed it up, but he’s been en fuego. On the season, he’s the #21 player for fantasy. 20.6 points, 2.5 tres, 6.2 boards, 4.3 dimes, and 1 steal with 50% from the field and 90% from the line. He’s averaging 29.6 minutes per game! Paging John Lennon. Paging John Lennon.

Just imagine if Middleton played 35 minutes per game.

Eric Bledsoe

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
19 4 6 2 1 1 2/5 8/14 1/1

He Bledsoe that G could reach the pantheon of fantasy greatness. Ha! I kid. G just went out and snatched that s@#!, but it makes for a good story. Eric 3:11. Anyways, he hasn’t been the fantasy force that we’ve been accustomed to over the years, but he should finish as a top 50-60 player when it’s all said and done. Points, tres, boards, dimes, and steals are what he provide.

Christian Wood

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
18 11 1 1 1 4 1/5 4/10 9/10

Did not start….LOL!…..but did end up playing 27 minutes off the bench. What is Dwayne Casey doing?

Bruce Brown

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
16 10 7 0 0 0 1/2 7/10 1/1

Played 32 minutes off the bench. With Reggie Jackson out of the picture and Luke Kennard still nursing an injury, Brown is the man on the second unit. Impressively, Brown did all that damage last night garnering a usage rate of only 14. If he’s on the wire, scoop him up.

Bam Adebayo

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
28 19 7 3 1 3 0/1 9/20 10/12

This is the dawning of the age of Adebayo. Age of Adebayoooooooooo. Adebayoooooooooooo. Man, y’all know the love I’ve had for Bam since the Summer League before his rookie season, so……I’m weeping tears of joy right now. He even made his free throws!! Oh, Lord have mercy. The only thing missing from his game is the tres. I think we will see it develop over the next few years.

Goran Dragic

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
19 3 3 0 0 3 3/5 4/9 8/8

In 27 minutes off the bench. Dragic is barely a top 200 player but he garners a usage rate around 27 and plays 28 minutes per game. He provides points, tres, boards, and dimes. He just doesn’t provide the D….Sorry, Goran. ragic it is from now on.

Andre Iguodala

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
8 5 1 1 2 1 1/5 3/7 1/3

In 23 minutes off the bench. I wouldn’t expect more than 23 minutes per game, so he really needs to be efficient in the defensive categories to provide value. If you’re expecting offense from Iggy, then you’re doing it wrong.

Trae Young

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
50 2 8 2 1 7 8/15 12/25 18/19

Image result for on fire gif

A career-high!!!! Do you hear that? What’s that sound?

The #13 player for fantasy on the season!!! 30.1 points, 3.5 tres, 4.4 boards, 9.2 dimes, and 1.2 steals with 44% shooting from the field and 85% from the line. Trae doesn’t get his Mutombo on and turns the ball over 4.9 times per game. I doubt he ever gets his block on, but the turnovers can definitely improve. That’s a scary thought.

De’Andre Hunter

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
17 6 2 1 0 1 3/3 7/12 0

Over the past six games, Hunter has stolen 1, 1, 5, 1, 2, and 1. Has he figured it out? It sure looks like it. We knew he had the physical tools to be a steals guy. Hunter plays a ton of minutes on a Hawks team that plays hyper fast. He provides tres, boards, and steals. The points probably won’t be voluminous but he has scored double figures in five of the last six games.

Cam Reddish

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
16 4 1 2 2 0 1/5 6/12 3/3

In 37 minutes off the bench. Cam received extra run because Dewayne Dedmon got into foul trouble and the Hawks went small, so don’t expect this amount of run to be the norm. The shooting efficiency is always the wild card, as he has the potential to shoot 50% from the field, but more often than not, it’s in the mid-30% range. He is primarily a steals guy.

John Collins

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
12 7 1 2 3 2 0 5/9 2/2

When Trae is en fuego like last night, you can’t expect anyone else to have a big game. With that said, it’s very promising that Collins continues to be a beast on the defensive side of the ball. The points will come. He’s a top 10 player on the season.

P. J. Washington

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
17 5 4 2 1 3 1/3 6/11 4/5

P. J. had been terrible recently. How bad you ask? Barely a top 300 player over the prior eight games, so last night was a good site to see. He’s going to get the run on a nightly basis and has the potential to be a 1/1/1 player. While he can contribute across the board, he won’t wow you in any category.

Cody Zeller

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
16 8 2 2 1 0 0 5/5 6/8

In 25 minutes as the starter. Cody isn’t sexy…Sorry, Mrs. Zeller. I didn’t mean like that. For fantasy, he’s kind of meh, but most of that is due to the 23 minutes he averages per game. If he played over 30 minutes, he’d be a for sure fantasy asset. As it stands, he will grab boards and chip in some defensive stats.

Malik Monk

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
25 6 3 0 0 3 2/5 7/13 9/9

In 30 minutes off the bench. I guess he didn’t need to be traded in order to have value. Over the past four games, Monk has been a top 50 player, averaging 29.6 minutes, 21.5 points, 2.5 tres, 3.8 boards, 2.3 dimes, and 1 steal. He’s been shooting 53% from the field and 94% from the line. Now, he’s not going to be this efficient, as he’s more like a 44% shooter, but he’s a bonafide scorer and is getting the minutes. The Hornets aren’t doing anything significant, so Monk should continue getting the run.

Thaddeus Young

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
22 11 1 4 1 3 2/3 10/18 0

Continues to start and played 36 minutes. Anyone remember the song, Forever Young? No? Just me? Well, okay then. In 11 games as a starter this season, Young has been a top 100 player, averaging 32.8 minutes, 14.2 points, 1.4 tres, 6.3 boards, 1.6 dimes, 1.8 steals, and 0.5 blocks. He’s shot 51% from the field (good) but 53% from the line (vomit inducing). At least the volume is low at 1.2 attempts per game. Now, when Lauri Markkanen returns, Young will return to the bench and play around 22 minutes per game. Until then, though, reap the rewards.

Tomas Satoransky

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
12 6 8 1 0 2 2/5 4/9 2/3

I can feel that trip-dub coming soon. Granted, I’ve had that feeling all season, so take that for whatever it’s worth. Hey! He has messed around once in his career.

Ryan Arcidiacono

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
3 3 1 0 0 0 1/5 1/6 0

Got the start because Chandler Hutchison and Kris Dunn were out due to injury. He’s likely to get some more starts, but he kind of sucks. Scratch that. He sucks.

Coby White

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
12 0 3 0 1 2 0/5 3/11 6/7

In 30 minutes off the bench. With all the injuries, White has and will be getting around 30 minutes of run per game. He can provide points and tres, but the shooting efficiency is worse than rough. If White entered Rikers Island with a ball, all the inmates would cower in fear.

Kyrie Irving will have shoulder surgery and miss the rest of the season.

Spencer Dinwiddie

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
22 5 8 0 1 2 1/6 7/19 7/10

With Kyrie off the floor, Dinwiddie garners a 31.8 usage rate, an increase of 1.9%. Dinwiddie doesn’t provide the D…..inwiddie it is, but he does provide plenty of points, tres, and dimes. The shooting efficiency is poor, though. On the season, he’s shooting 41% from the field and often shoots in the high-30s.

Caris LeVert

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
25 6 5 1 0 3 3/8 9/29 4/5

With Kyrie off the floor, LeVert garners a 31 usage rate, an increase of 3.3%. I was skeptical of LeVert this season, even after he started balling out. So, I apologize to those who I misguided with my stupidity. Like Dinwiddie, the shooting efficiency is an issue, but he provides points, tres, boards, dimes, and steals. The upside is high for LeVert but it may not always be a smooth ride.

DeAndre Jordan

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
14 15 4 0 0 1 0 5/11 4/5

In 37 minutes off the bench, as Jarrett Allen was benched after getting punked by Joel Embiid for 13 minutes. Jordan is a boards and blocks guy. He’s averaging 21.3 minutes per game on the season. There’s a chance he gets more, but I have my doubts. I wouldn’t go too crazy over this one game sample size.

Tobias Harris

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
22 12 6 2 0 3 0/4 10/20 2/3

46 minutes! In an OT game. Harris is such a solid fantasy asset. He’s not a league winner by any stretch of the imagination, especially since he doesn’t kill it in any one category. What he does do is contribute a little something something in every cat. As a result, he’s a top 60 player.

Joel Embiid

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
39 16 2 2 2 5 1/1 10/20 18/19

Damn…..

That boy good.

Who is more impressive? G or Embiid?

Ben Simmons did not play due to a back issue, so Raul Neto received the start and provided 6 points, 2 boards, and 4 dimes in 28 minutes.

Josh Richardson

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
7 7 3 3 1 3 1/6 3/12 0

My RichardSON…..We have to recalibrate the tracking software!!! Regardless, it was nice to see the defensive stats. That’s what you’re primarily about. I’m not sure I buy into it, but he’s someone I’m keeping a closer eye on. Well, if that were to happen then a restraining order would probably issued against me because I always feign over my RichardSON.

Alec Burks

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
19 4 1 0 0 0 2/4 6/11 5/5

In 30 minutes off the bench. Words of his demise were greatly exaggerated? Naw, let’s see how things shake out with Ben Simmons in action.

De’Anthony Melton

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
24 6 3 1 1 1 4/5 5/10 4/4

In 23 minutes off the bench. The playing time has ticked up recently. YIPEE!!! From 18.4 to 23.1. yipee….Melton is a steals guy who will grab some boards and dish out some dimes. It’s too bad he doesn’t get more run.

Harrison Barnes

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
32 1 1 1 0 3 7/11 11/17 3/4

Mehrrison Barnes. Every once in a while he will score some points and force the repressed memories to surface and make us remember that Kevin Durant joined the Warriors because Barnes was so shitty in the playoffs.

The shooting guard situation in Sacramento remains split: Bogdan Bogdanovic got the start and played 24 minutes while Buddy Hield played 27 minutes off the bench. Blech. BogBog contributed 9 points, 1 board, 3 dimes, and 1 steal, while Buddy produced 20 points, 3 boards, 4 dimes, and 3 steals.

Robert Covington

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
20 5 1 0 4 0 5/10 7/13 1/1

The Lord giveth and the Lord blocketh away. Covington is in the perfect situation and should provide plenty of tres, boards, steals, and blocks. The only hole in his game is the shooting efficiency, as he’s at 43% for the season and sometimes bricks himself into the 30% range.

Russell Westbrook

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
21 5 10 1 0 4 1/2 10/20 0

James Harden

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
29 3 10 3 2 1 3/12 6/16 14/15

Awww, so cute. Matching stat lines. James just accessorized with the free throws. The Rockets pacified the Warriors, 135-105, so it was all fun and games for the dynamic duo.

Jeff Green

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
17 4 0 1 0 2 4/5 6/8 1/2

In 24 minutes off the bench in his Rockets debut. Danuel House only played 19 minutes, so that looks to be the guy most affected. We shall see how D’Antonio continues with his rotations, though, especially since Eric Gordon was out and Green isn’t known to be the best defender.

Andrew Wiggins

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
22 3 0 1 2 1 2/4 10/17 0

Over the past three games, Wiggins has been a top 15 player. 2.3 steals, 1.7 blocks, and 57% shooting from the field will do that. I’m always skeptical when it comes to Wiggins, but it’s a new environment on a team with tremendous leadership. The physical talent has always been there.

Eric Paschall

PTS REB AST STL BLK TOV 3PT FG FT
12 7 2 0 1 5 1/1 5/8 1/1

In 32 minutes off the bench. Outside the top 200 for fantasy. Paschall can provide some points and boards, but that’s about it.

Klay Thompson has been officially ruled out for the remainder of the season.
