The NBA season keeps rolling along and injuries are piling up, so Joel and Ossie discuss who stands to gain in the wake of the big blow to Paolo Banchero (spoiler: Jalen Suggs!), who’s making the most of the opportunities in Memphis and New Orleans, and why the full strength Warriors are a fantasy minefield. Then, Ossie breaks down the opportunities that exist in buying high on a hot start — Jordan Poole is en fuego right now — and selling on a stumbler — *cough, cough* Fred VanVleet — before the bottom falls out.

Good stuff. FVV has been a struggle but it is early. I am more focused on moving off Rozier and/or Powell.
1. About what level or kind of player would you try to trade for with Terry?
2. Powell?
I know this is in a vacuum but there ya go.
Squad is 12-5-1 so far and nine cat metrics support the start. Here they are:
Jokic, Allen, Duren
Jalen Will, Khris, Rozier, Draymond
Booker, Maxey, Giddey, FVV, Giddey, Powell, Ivey, Alvarado/Streamer
Thank you
Totally get trying to unload either of those guys. Low upside, back end of your roster in 12s. That might be hard to get off of but it’s worth exploring.
I’m curious which one you’d like to part with first. My first impression would be Terry since Norm’s one cat — scoring — can be harder to replace than the floor game that Rozier provides. Plus, you’re carrying Draymond, so I could see the appeal of a scoring counterweight to balance that out. How have the points been so far?
As for targets:
Nice! First, I typed in Giddey twice instead of Ayo. So I already have Dosunmu given LaVine’s injury and trade liklihood. Deni just hit the wire and I like his game once his shooting regresses to normal. Might look to add him and drop Alvarado.
Ideally I would do a two for one but those are rare. Agree Terry goes first. I am first in points with my streaming genius (ha ha) being a factor. I have looked at RJ, D White (probably too optimistically), Hart and Kessler.
Great stuff, as always!
In points leagues, who are your top 3-4 from the following:
Agbaji, Aldama, Braun, Camara, Coulibaly, Eason, Lively, Pritchard, Sarr.
Thanks Joe!
I don’t play points leagues much, so take with a grain of salt, but here’s how I like that group:
Sarr, Coulibaly, and Braun, a gap, then Aldama, Lively and Camara. It’s hard to get too excited about the non-starters, as much as I love Pritchard and Eason for cats leagues
