I’m a dualistic kind of guy. Two sides to every coin. Can’t make lemonade without lemon and water. Takes two to tango. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A stick has two ends. I guess I’m the king of cliches and idioms now. Anyways, when I think of “firsts,” a gamut of emotions and experiences fill my mind and body. There have been many firsts that were excellent. First kiss was amazing. First dunk was exhilirating. I don’t give a shit that it was only with a volleyball. First banana cream pie from Apple Pie was orgasmic. As we all know, not all firsts are memorable. First speeding ticket. First accident. Doesn’t have to be of the driving variety. First time shitting the pants. Well, Terry Rozier had a bunch of firsts last night. First career start. And…..

First time messing around. You know what that calls for….
Rozier got the start because Kyrie Irving sat due to injury. In addition, Marcus Smart was unavailable, so Rozier ended up playing 33 minutes. This is obviously an outlier game but….Per 36, Rozier is scoring 14.1 points, grabbing 6.8 rebounds, dishing out 3.3 dimes, and stealing 1.6. Just remember for the future if a similar situation arises. I’ll never forget my first kiss. I’ll never forget the day Rozier got his first start and messed around.
Here’s what else I saw last night:

JaMychal Green is still out and doesn’t look like he’ll return for at least a week. Until then, Martin should continue to start and get over 30 minutes of run a game. Martin won’t knock you off your feet with his production, but he’s a big man that can shoot the 3 and contribute a little something something in the periphery categories. Maybe he should change his name to Remy.

Our prospect guru, Craig, has positive things to say about Brooks. He’s received plenty of run this season, but has been underwhelming. Will grab some boards, score a little, deliver from downtown, and get his 211 on. With that said, he played 40 minutes last night and attempted 19 shots. With Tyreke on his way out and the bevy of injuries, Brooks will be in a prime position to deliver production.

Average Harrison is whatever, but he’s going to start at point guard and get minutes. Can score a little and chip in some boards and dish out some dimes. He’s the handjob of fantasy. Not exciting and makes you wish for more, but gets the job done.
Myke Henry played 24 minutes, while Ivan Rabb played 23 minutes. Rabb pulled down eight boards. The return of Green could make them irrelevant, but there’s the remote possibility that both carve out a role down the stretch. Why not?

Had more range, could climb to basically outer space, and was controlled by an advanced artificial brain. See? That basically describes LeBron. While the speed that it could attain was classified, I’d conservatively put it around mach 5. The X-15 holds the record for fastest manned aircraft at mach 6.70. Now, LeBron is playing around mach 3.5 level right now, which is a straining endeavor, but it’s cruising for LeBron. Wait until he ramps things up to mach 4 or 5. Can’t wait!

Hi Sonn!!
As it seems, my man Taurean Prince is performing badly lately. I was wondering if you would bring Jarrett Allen instead of him. The rest of the squad is:
Fox, Murray, Bledsoe, Payton, Middleton, LaVine, Josh Richardson, Ingram, Giannis, Taj Gibson, Hollis-Jefferson, Myles Turner
What would you think of that move?
Thank you so much!!
@AKTHESAVIOR: I am also tempted about picking Marjanovic or Stanley Johnson but I have been tracking Jarrett all year long and it would hurt to see him doing great in another team.
@AKTHESAVIOR: I’m good with it
Better long term investment, Wallace or Selden in a deep 9cat 15 teamer?
@Chilly: I think Selden but it’s close. Feel like path to minutes is more secure for Selden
Yeah baby!!!
WAAAAAAYNE SELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDON JNR!!!!

Great article today Son! This is an exciting week in fantasy basketball!!!! I have 2 pickups left this week since our league has a weekly limit. Selden, Fox, Allen, Chriss, Portis, Bullock and Frye all available in my league this morning.
My team is Paul, Teague, Dinwiddie, Dunn-IL, Richardson, BogBog, Harris, Giannis, Carroll, Markieff, Lee, Myles, WCS and Randle.
I would say BogBog needs to be dropped but perhaps Lee, Carroll or Markieff also? Please help! Thank you.
Marjanovicc and Stanley are available too.
@Tony C: Lot of good options. I think you have to go Chriss and Fox for Lee and Bog
I remember you asking why on earth do I have a boner on CJ.. I think you got your answer now. Lol
For years I’m a huge suns fan, and it all started when Steve went back to the valley. Even after he left for the Lakers I stayed true, even now that they’re considered the laughing stock of the league, I’m still here for them. My loyalty will never falter and I will forever bleed purple and orange.. However, I genuinely don’t have a favorite sun. Even with Booker scoring like crazy this season and showing how much he improved, for some reason he still isn’t my favorite. I just like CJ more than him.
I was able to watch (on tv) a ton of Blazer games last season, watched CJ play so many times. I said to myself this guy’s midrange game is beyond awesome. I instantly became a fan since then… Maybe I’m just drawn to players who simply can score in the perimeter with ease. Ha.
Anyhow, I’m so glad I held onto both Josh Jax and Chriss.
@I just wanna Kawhi: Ha! No doubt. I’ve always liked CJ too. Obviously not as much as you though. I’m glad you were finally able to get your guy. You’re a Suns fan. You had to hold on to those guys!!!
AyYyYyYo!
You dropping any of Prince, Nance, Skal for Seldon ?
Nabbed Allen last night man. Looks like it could be happening..
I dropped Lyles for him…I know I know… kinda regretting it already but oh well I’d hate to see Allen on another team feasting later in the season.
Squad –
Lowry / DSJ / J. Murray / Fox / Dejounte
Hardaway / Prince / Tobias / Miro / Nance
Gobert / Griffin / WCS / Skal / Allen
Kinda blew up my team this past week after losing Cousins, Wall & Love, so I don’t really know what I need at the moment. Maybe Threes and points..
Talk to me Homie !
But then again it is coinciding with RJH being out ?
Thoughts on that ?
@Mr. Blast: Ayo!!! Skal for me. Yeah, I remember the trade you made. Team looks alright. Could be a little light on 3s and points. Hopefully Miro gets traded and Tobias and Blake can get comfortable in their new environments. Need some Hardaways to hit!!!
@Son:
MIRO IS FREE’d !!!!
What do you think of his value in N.O ?
@Mr. Blast: Free at last…Free at last….Miro is free at last!!!! Perfect place for him. Value sky rockets
What can we make of Chriss? Would you drop Bradley, Ingram, Jabari Parker or Gallo for Chriss or John Collins? Ignoring team needs. Thank you!
@miles proudfoot: Gotta take a chance on him. Ceiling is too high and he should get plenty of run. I’d drop Parker. Just don’t see how he gets any kind of significant run or usage.
@Son: word! Thanks man.
@miles proudfoot: Anytime!
Hey Son,
I love Dedmon but it seems like ATL is moving towards Collins and/or looking to deal Dedmon….
Should I drop him for M. Chris?
@RICE: I made the move already… so I guess I’m just looking for a pat on the head.
Great article today. So much going on in NBA!
@RICE: You are wise. Here’s a pat on the back. Now pat yourself on the back. Stand by the door….facing backwards of course…because I’ve shipped some pats
NBA is he greatest!!! RICE RICE baby!!!
@RICE: Yes. RICE RICE baby!!
@Son:
@RICE: Monroe to New Orleans seems to be gathering a lot of steam. If he ends up there, is he a must own?
@RICE: Definitely
Allen or Monroe is the debate I am having right now. Who do you prefer in vacuum?
Monroe. Higher upside
Feel good about Niko’s new landing spot? Hear they’re pursuing Monroe too so that’s kind of concerning
How worried are you about Kuuuuuuzzzz? Been pretty meh the last 3 hopefully just a funk.
Gotta hold onto Tyreke through this situation right? My week is just totally shot sorry had to vent, also have Tobias so he hasn’t been playing. Thankfully pretty secured for a playoff spot so can just kind of ride all this out.
Great spot for Niko. Even if they get Monroe, he’s going to get plenty of run.
Not worried about Kuz. There’s upside if Randle gets traded as well.
I’d trade Reke. Will more than likely get traded to a contender and be a scorer off the bench.
This is the place to vent, pound your chest, laugh, cry, learn, and hopefully smile.
@Son:
I’d just like to add that we also thought Brooklyn was a “great spot” for Okafor ,
Haha
@Mr. Blast: Ha! No doubt. It still is though. Just won’t offer the potential upside because Allen will be in the mix. I think the difference is that Nic is a proven baller. Okafor? Not so much.
Thanks for above response. How about Clarkson vs Bogdan B in a keeper?
@Chilly: Anytime! Tough because don’t know where Clarkson will end up. I think Bog does a little more in the periphery cats so I’d side with him.
What’s good Son, I’m back! So a roster spot opened up for my team because of RHJ’s injury, and I will now be able to nab another player (if I outbid everyone). I’m not sure if I should make a move for Selden given that there are still movements happening around the NBA. I still got $50, and a $15 bid next week for the right player I believe is the perfect move. The remaining $30-35 I will use for the remainder of the season–and heading into playoffs (yes we are making the post-season even without the fucking help of Kawhi). Anyhow, I’m placing $1-2 on these players:
Len – might be a good get, however, the Suns still don’t like him lol He’s not gonna resign with us so no need to play him a ton
Winslow – he’ll come in cheap. He’s playing decent ball nowadays
Boban, Bam, Willy – my stashes. Do you like this order? DJ and Whiteside MIGHT be traded, it wouldn’t harm to land one of these bigs
What do you say?
@I just wanna Kawhi: I like Selden. As for the bigs, Boban and Bam for me.
Would be great if you make playoffs. Would be even. Enter if you win it all. I will Kawhi!!!!! Good luck my man
Hey, Son. Milsap or Mirotic ros in a head to head points league? Thanks!
@Jerry: Sup Jerry! Miro
Hi son,

I honk I would make those moves. Would grab both Chriss and Allen
@Son: thanks. So you’d do both the trade and FA signing?
Yeah. I’m kind of bullish on IT and, losing Hassan would hurt, but if he doesn’t get traded, it’s tough to see him get no run in crunch time. That’s why you’d need to grab Allen (who I’m high on) and Chriss off the wire.
@Son: wow, great analysis!! Thanks a lot
