10 GAME QUE TONIGHT.  LET’S GET IT ON!

  • KNICKS VS (W) MAGIC: MAGIC get the win tonight against the Mitch-less Knickerbockers.  When Immanuel Quickley shoots 1 for 12 and Derrick Rose goes 1 for 10, it’s pretty hard to compete.  Al Faruk Aminu sighting!  First game since the bubble.  Welcome back, prince.

  • Julius Randle: All hail Ceasar! Julius Caesar continues to serve up an entree-sized portion of Ceasar Salad, replete with stinky anchovies *(turnovers) and thrilling croutons *(head down to the rim).  He’s a borderline All-Star.  His playmaking and 3PT have improved.

  • R.J. Barrett: Decent line from a decent second-year beast.  He’s improved from 40% to 42 % FG% this year over last year.  Likewise, he has raised his scoring from 14.3 to 16.5, his assists are up from 2.6 last year to 3.1 this year, and his rebounds are up from 5.0 as a rookie to 6.2 RPG.

  • Nikola Vucevic:  Senor stat stud had a well-rounded game.  Love the symmetry of the 16 and 16 line.  The 8 for 24 on field goals shows the overloaded workload Vuc is being asked to grind right now with so many Orlando injuries.

  • Terrence Ross: Ross is the place to score counting stats (*and beard oil) at a discount.  Solid line from the Alba-T.Ross.  Lazer accuracy, as well as STOCKS, makes this a high flying line, and a big reason the Magic vested the Knicks.

  • *(W) HAWKS VS CELTICS: Ice Trae’s 40 burger was enough to light up the Celtics for another loss.
  • Trae Young: This pretty line helps forgive the nasty eight turnovers.  Elite accuracy en masse.

  • Jayson Tatum: Tatum cooking taters and melting cheese sauce on your Chest.  Steammmmmmmy.  Great line for Tates after a few weeks of field goal percentage in the dog house. Nice to see an efficient line.  Give him a break, he had Covid-19 for crying out Rudy!

  • Jaylen Brown: The New Beard is robust and dynamic, as he slithers and delivers packaged mail in the Boston snow.  He should perhaps slither thither more toward the basket, as seven helpers and eight charity points are far better than the 6 for 20 chucking would indicate.  Chucked his way to the L.

  • Seth Curry: Sneaky value continues on lines like tonight.  If you need 3PT and PTS, Seth can add value to your squad.  I love to see the six FTA as it shows he’s not sitting back on his laurels, but rather is driving and absorbing contact to help the Philly Funk keep rollin’.

  • *(W) WIZARDS VS NUGGETS: The Mile High crew got duped by Beal and his savvy stutter step for the win.
  • Bradley Beal: America, welcome your new Association scoring leader *(32.8 PPG).  With the Beard platooned in Jersey, expect this BB to get the Scoring Title.  The 8 for 8 from the charity is how the elite keep winning, even on poor shooting nights, like tonight’s 8 for 20 and only 1 3PT.

  • Davis Bertans: The Latvian Lazer lit the rim for a career-high scoring night.  His game is boring, but nights like this show his sneaky excellence.  Shooters this good will rebound from a slow start.  9 3PT on zero turnovers for the win.  Now is probably the end of the Buy-Low time for Davis.

Excellence in action is Joker’s masterful skill.  Joker sits 6th in scoring, 8th in rebounds, 4th in assists, 4th in steals.  This maaaaay be the year he wins M.V.P.

  • Domontas Sabonis: Our first Triple-Double of the night!  Solid line from this repeat All-Star.  Monster line with virtually no flaws.  Note: Fourth in the Association in rebounds this year with 336 in 29 games.  Last night marked Domantas’ 3rd triple-double in his first 29 games.  Last year he needed 62 games to produce four triple-doubles.
