Kenneth Faried
has come out of obscurity, buried deep on the Nets bench, and has exploded onto the court for the Rockets and savvy fantasy GMs in less than a week. He keeps showing up and putting up big numbers. Not only has he immediately provided his normal points and boards with high efficiency, but he has suddenly added steals and blocks. He even hit a 3! The free throw shooting is still horrific, but the diverse offering he’s served up so far have been great.

8/11 5/9 NA 21 14 0 0 2 0

This was his best scoring and rebounding performance yet. He was all over the court in this one and made his presence known. While he’s been an incredibly fun story this week, this has sell high written all over it. With Clint Capela returning in a few weeks, there probably won’t be a better time to gauge his value than immediately after a big performance in a nationally televised game. Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy all the fun of rostering a player called the Manimal.

Stars Gonna Star

These stars played like we expected them to, punking their inferior opponents, and racking up the stats that build the foundation of our fantasy teams. Enjoy the ride.

Bradley Beal

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
10/17 2/2 5/7 27 6 7 2 0 3

Beal continued his torrid pace, putting up yet another all-around gem. He’s top 20 over the last month and could work his way to top 15 as the season continues. Beal has been a nice value for GMs that drafted him in the 3rd or 4th rounds.

Nikola Vucevic

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
12/17 3/5 1/3 28 9 1 1 0 3

I will continue to sing the praises of Vuc, as he has been having an amazing season. He’s such a smart offensive player and has been a 1st round player all season. A trade could hurt his value, but for now, just enjoy the ride.

Justise Winslow

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
11/18 1/2 4/6 27 7 2 0 1 2

This was Winslow’s first 20 point game in almost 2 weeks. He’s hit a bit of a slump recently, so this was a nice return. The assists weren’t there this time, but the 4 3’s helped make up for it.

Tobias Harris

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
10/15 6/7 3/6 29 8 3 0 0 5

Tobias Harris continued his ridiculous season, scoring efficiently and adding some nice boards. On the season he’s #22 in fantasy and has been a great value for fantasy GMs.

Zach LaVine

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
10/20 7/7 2/7 29 4 3 2 0 3

After some recent struggles, this marks LaVine’s 4th straight 20+ game. He’s back to scoring with solid 3’s, boards, and assists.

Kawhi Leonard

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
11/19 7/7 3/6 32 7 5 2 0 6

For fantasy purposes, this was an excellent return for Kawhi. In real life, he air-balled the last second 3 that would have won the game. He was efficient and offered up nice stats, minus the 6 turnovers.

Paskal Siakam

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/15 2/2 2/2 22 12 3 0 0 2

Siakam had a nice, efficient double-double in this one. He continues his big season, where he’s currently #40 for standard leagues.

James Harden

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/25 15/15 2/13 35 2 7 0 1 4

While not as outlandish as his recent games, this marks his 22nd straight 30-point game. The efficiency from the floor was sub par, but he killed it from the line. It’s crazy to say that a 35-point performance was a slight disappointment.

De’Aaron Fox

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
8/17 5/5 1/3 22 6 5 1 0 7

After missing his last game with a toe injury, and enduring a bit of a slump, this was a nice return game for Fox. He may not live up to the hype he built back in December, but he seems like a solid bet for top 50 production this season.

Blake Griffin

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
12/24 8/11 3/9 35 7 4 1 0 6

Blake continued his high scoring assault. He’s averaging over 26 points per game, is the main focal point for the offense, and returning solid 3rd round value in fantasy.

Andre Drummond

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/16 5/8 NA 23 15 0 3 0 1

Drummond returned from his concussion to drop a nasty 23 and 15 with 3 steals. The points and boards should continue to roll.

Luka Doncic

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/19 11/13 3/9 32 8 8 2 1 4

How can you not love Luka? Rostering him is so much fun, and he’s capable of filling it up in every cat on any given night. He didn’t disappoint in this one.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
14/21 6/8 0/2 34 14 3 3 3 2

He still is having a tough time from 3, but the Greek Freak has been putting up monster stats all season long. He’s a clear cut first round player with plenty of room to grow and move towards the top 5.

Devin Booker

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/19 15/16 2/4 35 4 2 0 0 4

Booker was extremely productive with 35 points, built mainly off of 15 made free throws. The Suns were severely overmatched, but at least Book was able to put some stats up.

Karl-Anthony Towns

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
12/19 7/7 2/5 33 10 4 1 3 3

KAT has been cruising near top 5 value this season and, over the last month, he’s behind Harden and AD, offering positive contributions everywhere, except for turnovers. He’s the clear cut man in Minnesota now, so enjoy his production, which should continue all season long.

Donovan Mitchell

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
7/24 8/10 2/6 24 7 11 1 1 3

Mitchell had a mixed game, putting up nice points, boards, and assists, but he also really struggled from the field. He’s top 60 overall this season, but inside the top 30 over the last month.

Rudy Gobert

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
8/12 2/4 NA 18 16 2 2 4 1

Even with the poor free throw shooting, the boards, blocks, and FG% have been enough to give Gobert top 15 value. This one was special because of the 6 stocks.

Dropped the Ball

Oooof. That’s not exactly what we were hoping for. Hopefully, these guys rebound next game and your fantasy team can stay afloat.

Evan Fournier

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
1/10 NA 0/6 2 1 1 1 0 2

Yikes. This marks back-to-back tough games, though this one takes the cake. He’s usually solid for points and 3’s but his relevance in standard leagues could be fading.

Collin Sexton

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
4/13 2/2 3/6 13 2 2 0 0 0

Sexton continued his rough play, shooting inefficiently and managing a laughable 2 assists. If you’re rostering him in anything besides a deep dynasty league, it’s clearly time to let go and admit your defeat. He’s just inside the top 300 for the season.

Tim Hardaway Jr.

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
2/14 6/9 0/6 10 3 0 1 1 0

THJ did not step up with Mudiay injured. The shots just weren’t falling. He’ll bounceback in the next one. Rumors of the Knicks making him available in trades aren’t helpful to his value in fantasy.

Solid and Noteworthy

These are the good performances we wanted to make note of.

Jeff Green

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/16 NA 6/9 24 6 3 0 0 2

Green caught fire from deep, working well off of Satoransky. He’s been a little disappointing filling in for the injured Markieff Morris, but this was a nice one. He’s borderline standard league relevant.

Tomas Satoransky

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
3/8 2/2 1/2 9 3 8 1 0 2

Sato couldn’t follow up his 20 and 10 game from the night earlier, but this was still solid. He did a lot of good things on the floor that won’t necessarily show up in the box scores, but he tied Green for the best +/- for the Wiz. All of this further cements his role in the rotation. He’s #62 over the last month, so top 75 should be considered his floor at this point.

Derrick Jones Jr.

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/12 1/3 1/2 14 10 0 0 1 0

After the last game where he did nothing in 11 minutes, DJJ rebounded for his 2nd double-double for the week. His role has been a bit of a roller coaster ride this season, but it’s nice to see him show he can produce when given the chance, even if the lack of stocks was disappointing.

Hassan Whiteside

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/10 2/2 NA 14 13 1 1 1 1

Whiteside’s production in boards, blocks and FG% have been excellent this season. His free throw shooting has regressed, but he hit both of them in this game. It was a boring double-double, but his fantasy GMs can’t complain.

Ante Zizic

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
5/9 3/4 NA 11 9 1 1 1 1

Zizic continued his solid play for the awful Cavs with a near double-double. He also sported the best +/- for his squad. He’s top 100 over the last month and the Cavs are gonna want to see what they have in the young big man.

Noah Vonleh

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/18 1/2 3/11 22 13 3 0 2 0

Vonleh led the charge in the middle, starting at center. The boards were strong as usual, but 18 shots is not typical. His scoring may be up while the team awaits Mudiay’s return, but this will probably be his season high.

Jabari Parker

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/9 1/1 2/3 15 4 3 1 1 0

Chicago continued the trade showcase, but it will most likely be unsuccessful. Still, Parker played pretty well and even added 2 stocks.

Buddy Hield

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/18 2/3 6/9 26 7 2 0 0 0

Buddy looked to be back after a few sub-par shooting performances. Dropping 6 3’s can only make fantasy GMs smile.

Mike Conley

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/16 2/3 2/4 16 6 9 2 1 4

Trade rumors have been swirling around Conley and they may be getting in his head. Or he just had an off shooting night. Even with the poor shooting, he managed 16/6/9 with 3 stocks, so it’s not quite up to his top 30 value this season, but this was still productive.

Dennis Smith Jr.

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
8/14 1/3 2/6 19 2 5 0 0 3

In the 2 games since DSJ’s return, he’s put up solid numbers in both of them. He’s been in a ton of trade rumors, so we’ll see if he finds a new home, but most likely any move shouldn’t affect his value too much.

Nicolas Batum

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
7/15 1/1 4/11 19 6 3 0 0 1

He’s been bad and uneven this season, but has recently had some nice games. This was a good one, especially the three-point shooting.

Malcolm Brogdon

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
7/13 4/4 1/2 19 5 1 1 0 1

Brogdon has been extremely solid, offering super efficiency, along with quality production in everything, minus stocks. He’s currently in the top 50 and shows no signs of fading.

Dragan Bender

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/11 1/1 2/4 14 5 2 1 0 2

Due to the injuries of Ayton and Holmes, the Suns had to turn to Bender. He showed off well here, stretching the floor and scoring efficiently. This marks 4 straight double-digit scoring games. His value will shrink up when the good bigs return.

Paul Millsap

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/8 6/7 2/2 20 9 2 3 0 2

Minutes were spread out due to the blowout nature of this game. Millsap was able to shine against a weak Phoenix team and for one night he looked like his old self.

Heating Up

Hot streaks are always fun.

Mo Bamba

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
3/5 NA NA 6 19 62 0 3 1

Bamba put up some nice numbers in just 16 minutes. He wreaked havoc defensively while he was on the floor, swatting 3 shots. If there are any moves sending Orlando big men out, Bamba would be a huge beneficiary.

Cedi Osman

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
11/20 4/5 3/8 29 4 4 2 0 1

While he hasn’t been consistent, Osman has been showing flashes of his scoring abilities that led to many experts thinking he could produce a top 100 season. That probably won’t happen, but games like this are encouraging. This marks back-to-back nice showings.

Trey Burke

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
10/19 3/3 2/4 25 0 5 2 1 1

Burke came off the bench in this one, but really picked up the scoring slack for the injured Mudiay. With Mudiay out for the next few weeks, Burke is a solid pickup for points, 3’s, and assists.

Lou Williams

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
9/19 11/13 2/6 31 10 10 1 1 3

It’s been a little while since Sweet Lou just went off. This was a strong triple-double, highlighted by his 11-for-13 from the line.

Mixed Bag

Unsure if good game with bad stats or bad game with good stats…

Shabazz Napier

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
3/13 11/12 1/6 18 2 2 1 0 1

11-for-12 from the line is great. Shooting 3-for-13 from the field is not. Still, Napier contributed in scoring and offered up a little bit in the other cats.

Kris Dunn

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
4/14 NA 1/5 9 4 10 4 0 3

9 points off of 14 shots is pretty telling, but he did all of his usual good stuff, like 4 boards, 10 assists, and 4 steals.

Kyle Lowry

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
2/9 4/4 1/6 9 4 11 1 0 4

Lowry has been in a weird shooting funk since returning from injury. It’s possible his back is still really bothering him, as many shots were way off. Still, he put up production in other cats, so hopefully the shooting comes around soon.

Kemba Walker

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
3/12 3/3 1/4 10 8 5 0 2 4

Kemba was having a rough night from the field and suffered a neck injury that could keep him out for at least a few games. Tony Parker suddenly becomes an interesting add. Even though the scoring was low, 8 boards, 5 assists, and 2 blocks help even things out.

Andrew Wiggins

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
8/26 4/7 1/4 21 11 3 1 1 5

Wiggo pulled off a double-double, but the efficiency was awful from the field and line. For the season, he’s not standard league relevant, and is only really useful if you are in need of points.

Where did that come from?

Well that was unexpected. Nice work, but can you keep it up?

Theo Pinson

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
5/11 6/6 3/5 19 8 2 2 0 3

This was a surprising performance and role. Pinson can fill it up when given the chance. It will be interesting to see if he’s starting to earn more minutes, which could make him deep league relevant for a little while.

Nemanja Bjelica

FG FT 3PT Points Reb Assists Steals Blocks TO
6/10 1/3 4/4 17 11 2 1 3 1

Good Bjelica is back! This was out of nowhere, so I wouldn’t trust it, but nice work if you started him.
