I love food. American. Korean. Chinese. Italian. French. Vietnamese. Brazilian. I show no discrimination towards race or culture. There’s a reason why I am now nine quarters, after being a svelt 165 pounds for most of my early adulthood. The only bias I have is towards mayonnaise. I’m dry heaving just looking at the words on the screen. Anyways, so it was with enjoyable delight that Beal Parmigiana and 40-burgers were on the menu last night. Mmm Mmmm good. Delicioso.

Bradley Beal played 46 minutes and sliced and diced the Thunder D like a Benihana chef. Who cares that the Wizards lost 112-121? Outside of the thousands? millions? that root for the team. Oh, and the folk that layed or took the 5 points. All this talk of burgers and parmigianas is getting me hungry. Enjoy the Top 40 production from Beal while I dig into my pasta with tomato sauce. Slllllllluuuuuuurrrrp.
Here’s what else I saw last night:

Got the start at power forward and played 28 minutes. Can score and rebound, but won’t contribute any periphery stats. Also, he’s going to sit every so often and will only get around 25 minutes of run when he does play. Should be a lottery pick when he joins the YMCA circuit. Until then, contemplate why he’s even getting run for the Kings.

For. The. Win. Outside of the constipation issues that forced him out of the last game after 11 minutes, Fox has been getting consistent minutes in the low-30s. He should continue to get plenty of run for the remainder of the season.
Now, for my favorite segment for the Kings: The Vivek/Vlade Trading Places bet.

Played 25 minutes. Has been given around 22 minutes of run since the start of the new year. He’s a freakishly athletic 3 & D player. Wouldn’t surprise me if he won a dunk contest in the future. With that said, no boards or dimes. A true specialist.

Hey SON!! Need some of that wisdom you got!
I’m sitting in 5th place in my 9-cat league and I’m not sure if I’m right but I feel like I need to move some players off my team.
Any players you recommend I should trade that can really help my team? — I’m thinking of getting rid of Fournier & Bazemore… Any knowledge dropping would be greatly appreciated!!
My team…
Chris Paul
Kevin Durant
Giannis
Myles Turner
John Collins
Evan Fournier
Kent Bazemore
Elfrid Payton
Dejounte Murray
Josh Richardson
Lonzo Ball
Trevor Ariza
Malcom Brogdon
Jabari Parker – IR spot
@Greek Freak: Damn, there must be some stacked teams in your league if you’re in 5th. Probably due to injury more than anything. I don’t think you need to do much. Possibly get another C. More than anything, need to build a shrine to the injury gods and make sure the sacrifices are truly virgins.
Hey Son! I’ve got Myles Turner coming back from injury and need to drop someone to move him out of the IR spot.
14-team, h2h:
G: DMitch, DSJ, Blue Arrow, DRuss, Hield, LeVert, Smart
F: Prince, Sabonis, Turner
C: KAT, Henson, Collins
I’m thinking either LeVert (DRuss is back) or Smart, but not sure which. Hield was the easy choice for awhile, but now that the Kings are sitting guys, I think Hield is a hold.
Thoughts?
Thanks!!
@howie2978: I like LeVert, but I’m with you. Think he’s the one
I’m usually pretty solid on the no veto trades bandwagon except for collusion, this trade below was just accepted and I can’t think of one reason why this guy would accept other than collusion.
Team A gives
Nikola Mirotic
Jalen Brown
Team B gives
Nikola Jokic
Team B is in last place and is all but mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and Team A is in 4th
@E: Yeah, it’s pretty bad. With that said, you never know what an owner is thinking. You gotta let owners be owners. Remember when Jimmy Butler was traded for Markkanen, Dunn, and LaVine? Worked out pretty well for the Bulls right? If it’s really an issue or there’s evidence of collusion, then you replace the owner. Never veto trades.
Wassup son… who do you think have better value from now until season end portis or jarret allen? Thanks son
@Yugo: Allen for me
9-cat, 18-team
PG1 Mitchell
PG2 Rubio
SG1 McCollum
SF1 Butler
SF2 Young
SF3 Hollis-Jefferson
PF1 Chriss
PF2 Labissiere
C1 Capela
C2 Dedmon
Son, do I drop Dedmon or Skal for Darius?
@I just wanna Kawhi: For Skal
Hey, happy weekend!
Injuries injuries and more injuries. I need to adjust my team. I no longer have my top two picks and don’t realky care about being in first place, looking forward to just making the playoffs and being ready to compete for that chip!
For guys are on the wire that I would like to snag, probably in this order…
Millsap, Collins, Gallinari, Criss, Clarkson (rolling now, but not sure will be ROS).
Any of the following drops for them (can’t imagine DSJ being one of them, but thought I would include just in case):
Ingram, Batum, DSJ, RHJ.
Thanks!
@miles proudfoot: Happy weekend to you as welll!
First off, I am with you in calling a championship a “chip.” But, recently I’ve been told that “ship” is more correct. I need answers!!!
As for the pickups, order looks good. I’d probably drop Ingram for Millsap.
@Son: Thanks! May drop RHJ for Collins or maybe even Gallo…eh, probably Collins. It’s a shallow league with a small roster.
I’ve always heard it called a “chip,” never a “ship.” I think everyone should just call it whatever they want, BUT if someone tells me that they won a “ship,” then I will just start singing T-Pain’s part in “I never thought I’d be on a boat!” to the new captain.
@miles proudfoot: Ha! I’m with you on the chip/ship thing. Think the same thing, but apparently, there are many “ship” people out there.
I love Collins but I’m not sure I could drop RHJ for him. Gallo has potential, but he worries me. The glute issue could be an issue all season. Even if he plays, could affect his shot.
@Son: I”ll be watching the comment board then to provide some backup on chip/ship!
If I choose not to take on Millsap if I decide on production right now, drop Ingram for Collins?
@miles proudfoot: Ha! Time to prepare for the inevitable battle against the shipfidels!!!
Yeah, I’m good with it.
I was just offered Harden for my Lou Williams + Marc Gasol + McCollum. Go for it? I think he’s panicking because he lost Cousins this week.
@HAL: What’s he rest of squad look like?
@Son: Paul, Lillard, Lou, Lowry, M.Gasol, Jrue Holiday, Beal, CJ, Conley, Porter, Thomas, P.Gasol, Batum, and Henson. Overloaded on guards.
@HAL: You’re not joking. Damn. I’d do the deal, then turn around and trade for some big men. You’d have some serious ammo.
@Son: Which big man would you be targeting for playoffs (given Lowry / Holiday / Beal / Conley / Thomas as chips)?
@HAL: I think you can shoot for any big man out there. You have all the ammo in the world. Time to don your Picasso hat and get creative.
@Son: Quick thought: Lillard+Lowry+Porter for LeBrong+Embiid?
Is Embiid too much of an injury risk? It’d fit nicely into a punt TO build.
@HAL: I’d do that in a heartbeat.
Hey SON!
I’m hanging around 5th of 18 most of season but need to make a move heading into the All Star Break! Asking for advice on this trade please sir and which side wins trade:
(Me Giving) Whiteside/D’Angelo Russel FOR
Adebayo / Dinwiddie / IIyasova
I have Paul Milsap coming off IR so am looking for a 2 or 3 trade.
Thanks man!!!
I’m confused. Aren’t you trying to open up a roster spot? I prefer the Whiteside/Russell side.
@Son: Great fast reply…My mistake on that… My Side was not Whiteside. Thanks for the advice I will make the move to get Whiteside and Russell!! Much appreciated Son!
All good. Anytime!
do i drop bradley, rivers, chriss , tyjo or portis for boban, kennard or stanjo?
@jason: No to Kennard and Johnson. I would grab Boban, though. Probably drop Chriss
