Semifinals time. Maybe in rotisserie leagues the results are more fair, but in head-to-head there’s more excitement. If you had Kevin Durant or Gary Harris and are in the semifinals, it will be a difficult endeavor, but that’s h2h fantasy life for you. On the other hand, if your opponent has one of those players, you’re smiling from ear to ear.
Another thing I learned this week (again), is how crucial working the waiver wire is to succeeding in fantasy basketball. Corey Brewer and Buddy Hield were first-round values in the quarter-finals, and Taurean Prince, Maurice Harkless, and Quinn Cook were second-round values.

Experts League: We had two games adjusted accordingly to the level of this league. Dynasty Deep Dive beat Krishna Ligas and will face off against Tarch Tadness for a place in the finals. For its part, Dream Killer won 5-4 over Andrew’s Team. Krishna Ligas acquired Jonathon Simmons, who over the last five games is averaging 24.4 pts, 2.2 3pts, and 0.8 stls.

Straight Cash Homie: Team GIANT easily defeated SCH1-Celestial Being 7-2. Connor’s Cool Team will be the other semifinalist. Connor’s Cool Team made a good deal adding Bogdan Bogdanovic, who’s playing well in the second part of the season with a top-65 value in the last three months.

Straight Cash Homie 2: Cronos Black Metal and Beamer tied in a thrilling duel, but Cronos Black Metal goes to the next round for his best classification. Brow’s full 82? won 7-2 thanks in part to two top-five fantasy asset this week: Damian Lillard and Anthony Davis. Akeem’s Dream Team added Quinn Cook.

Straight Cash Homie 3: Not surprisingly, White Mamba defeated Vengeful Hoopdies, and Boogie’s Low Ceiling was victorious over The KAT’s Meow. Again, Damian Lillard and Anthony Davis were instrumental. Boogie’s Low Ceiling added Jimmy Butler. The earliest date he will be able to return to the court will be March 26.

Straight Cash Homie 4: My team, TonyRP, defeated Nevitt’s Polyester, thanks in part to the good performances from Nikola Mirotic and Karl-Anthony Towns on the last day. SCH4-Celestial Being is the other semifinalist, who won 6-2 over peter’s Fine Team. TonyRP acquired Josh Jackson, and for strategical reasons Milos Teodosic in place of Rudy Gay. Matokie Slaughter made good moves by adding Maurice Harkless, Kyle Anderson, and D.J. Augustin.

Straight Cash Homie 5: In two adjusted games Klark Shark defeated SON, and NYKnicks beat SCH5-Celestial Being. NYKnicks dropped Gary Harris for Reggie Bullock, clearly a mistake having an injury spot.

Straight Cash Homie 6: White Walker Pornos beat RJC’s Team by the minimum. The great defensive stats posted by Nikola Jokic and Dwight Howard were the key to the match. The other semifinalist is My curry too spicy! who defeated SON 6-3. Evil Empire made a good add by acquiring Josh Jackson.

RAZZblueBALLS: Matokie Slaughter (6) defeated the third-ranked John’s Team 6-3. James Harden, the number one fantasy player over the last week, was crucial. Osama Razz1 beat Stuck in Saigon. Shahed’s Team dropped his best players after being eliminated. This can destroy the league and is unacceptable. GasOl(d) Anthem made good acquisitions with James Johnson and Josh Jackson.

Italy vs Razzball: The two-time Team of the Week, The Wakefield Case, lost to Granny Shots, as he had an injured Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry on his roster. ! won 6-3. He also added Corey Brewer, a first round value over the last week, averaging 13.8 pts, 1.5 3pts, 3.8 stls and 1.0 blks.

No Punt Intended: The four best teams in the league will fight for the glory. basketballsacks easily won 8-1. Dicks Out 4 Harambe won 6-3 against effi’s Peerless Team. The Bad Bandidos, with four players in the top-20, LeBron James, Jonas Valanciunas, Tobias Harris and Carmelo Anthony, defeated Stuck in Saigon1 8-1.

Dynasty Deep Dive: One of the stronger teams lately, ELITE, and our Team of the Week, Pete Reyes’s Team, won comfortably. My team, TonyRP 5, added Kyle Anderson, and ELITE acquired E’Twaun Moore and Jeremy Lamb, who could see an increase in playing time if Nicolas Batum misses time after leaving Saturday’s game due to soreness in his Achilles’ tendon.
