Yes, the NBA is in full swing and they’re keeping the doctors busy, as always. Here’s a rundown of major injuries, and what you can do to fill in the gaps.

Anthony Edwards: Missing two weeks with a hamstring strain. Shouldn’t be a long term issue. Last night, Mike Conley got the start and Terrance Shannon, Jr. received 25 minutes. Shannon is the preferred add, but don’t stress out if you miss him.

The Move: Get Shannon if you have room, but don’t worry if you miss out

Coby White: There’s no need to rush him back as the surprising Bulls are 3-0. Tre Jones seems like an obvious sell high, but he’s a good real life player. I don’t see the minutes dropping below 25-28 going forward. Ayo Dosunmu also will get a lot of minutes. In other words, all the guys who are producing now will continue to do so even when White comes back.

The Move: Keep all the Bulls that you have. Coby White isn’t stopping the other guards from producing.

Luka Doncic: He’s out for a bit, but shouldn’t be long. Jarred Vanderbilt played 28, Jake LaRavia 29, and Dalton Knecht 24. They sorely miss Doncic, and LeBron James for that matter. Again, don’t stress and run to the wire for these guys.

The Move: Vanderbilt is fine if you need some defensive stats. Otherwise, just don’t watch the Lakers, they’re hideous.

Huh. Not a lot of advice? Let’s look at the Bucks point guard. Ryan Rollins is looking to take the job and run with it. 14 points and 8 assists on Sunday; Kevin Porter, Jr. is not a great real life player. If the Bulls win and Rollins has success, he’ll keep the job. Cole Anthony in my estimation is better than Porter too, but granted I’m not a big fan of Porter’s history.

The Move: Grab Rollins and see where it goes.

Zion Williamson: He has a bone contusion in his foot. Another lower body injury. You have to keep him, but what opportunities arose? Rookie Derik Queen will probably benefit from all the injuries here. He played 24 on Monday in a blowout loss to Boston, and should keep minutes in the mid 20s for a bit. Herb Jones and Trey Murphy III will get all the minutes they can handle, so take a look and see if they make sense for your team build.

The Move: Stash Queen if you have the room

Dereck Lively: Both centers now, Lively and Daniel Gafford, are missing time with various ailments. They shouldn’t be long term. Anthony Davis fills in at center and PJ Washington is a good stream as he’s playing mid 30s minutes. I’m a fan of Max Christie’s game too if he can keep going in the starting lineup.
