If you missed it, Cade Cunningham will miss the fantasy season with a collapsed lung, and Anthony Edwards a good portion of it with a knee issue. Obviously, if you’re in the playoffs you got there in good measure because of these two guys. They’re not replaceable.
If you have Cade, Daniss Jenkins seems like he’ll be the point guard, but he’s crazy inefficient and his shots come and go. Maybe someone dropped Ausar Thompson; he’ll get more usage now. For Anthony Edwards, take a shot on Bones Hyland or Ayo Dosunmu. Ayo moved into the starting lineup, and Bones got 25 new fresh minutes off the bench. Kyle Anderson also gets a bump here.
These are bummers, but try to piece it together, okay? No, I know it’s not dusty in here. Stop the tears and get cracking.
Precious Achiuwa has been getting major minutes in Sacramento, averaging about 16-9 in his last 14. Stocks are plentiful as well. 2.3 combined steals and blocks are great for your final push. His role is safe as Sacramento likely won’t rush their other injured bigs back.
Jarace Walker of the Pacers similarly is getting a bump in minutes due to the team’s lack of interest in wins. Pascal Siakam is likely finished, giving Walker his minutes in an act of kindness and generosity. Walker’s playing 31 minutes his past 16, and is under 30% owned, so you know what to do.
Jazz: Let’s keep it simple. Drop Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen or at least IL them. Go with Isaiah Collier and Ace Bailey instead.
Bulls: Tre Jones and Josh Giddey are locked in, and Matas Buzelis is sorta locked in. Anfernee Simons and Collin Sexton should take a back seat for now. Nic Richards has low, low, low end value if you’re desperate. Start Jones, Giddey, Buzelis, bench Sexton, cut Simons, Richards if you need him start but may God have mercy on your fantasy team.
Other than that, y’all just ride on the horse that brung ya. Don’t get cute, get the glory.
Thanks for reading, both this and all season! It’s an honor anyone reads my stuff. Seriously. If you like my style here, go ahead and find my articles in fantasy baseball. I think we got one more week though to look forward to!
