Happy New Year’s Eve, Razzball Nation!

May your champagne be stocked, your last night of horrific eating before a New Year’s resolution be gorged, and your lists of things to reflect on be lengthy.  Number one on my list right now is my groin is healthy!  Rough, rough injury for the Charlotte Hornets and fantasy owners’ front lines with Al Jefferson out at least the next month with an adductor strain.  Not that you need it, but Dr. JB is linking a little pic here [FAMILY FRIENDLY!].  Enough groin talk already!

When I heard Big Al was out for a month, I made the same face as Bill Walton’s Basketball-Reference picture…  Lots of shock waves across the Hornets, with Bismack Biyombo likely starting at the 5.  I don’t think he plays 30 minutes a night, but the boards-n-blocks upside puts him into the Rudy Gobert conversation.  Like Gobert, Biyombo won’t be winning a game of knokout anytime soon…  Shooting 44% from the FT line this season, and under 50% in his career.  A big winner here is Marvin Williams, who should be owned in 14ers and worth a bookmark for shallower.  Off 8/14/3/3/0 Monday night, the Hornets are going to move Cody Zeller into a lot of C minutes as the Hornets have no real front-line depth.  Williams hit a couple of treys in that game as well, and as with all Hornets, is in line for a few more shots with Big Al’s 16.3 FGA distributed to the masses.  For deep leaguers, don’t forget about Noah Vonleh who was sent to the D-League recently for a little seasoning.  He’s expected to be called back up momentarily, and as you’d assume with a team losing their best player, the Hornets are likely to fall even further in the Eastern standings.  Vonleh might get some experiential run as the season presses on to develop the 9th overall pick in this year’s loaded draft.  Here’s what else went down last night across the NBA:

Andre Drummond Three games without Josh Smith, three Pistons blowouts!  And while Drummo has been back to being the beast we hoped, he’s 23-33 from the field the past 3 games as he’s finally crept up to 50% shooting on the year.  But with the good comes the bad, as the Magic started Banging the Drummond Slowly in the 3rd quarter, amping up those FT to 5-16 last night.   Buzz’s girlfriend, woof!  Overlooking that, a 17/22/2/2/3 rainbow line with no TO.  7 cat killah!

Jodie Meeks Ultimate ThrAGNOF!  34/0/0/2/0 hitting 11-16 shots with the monster 9-11 3PTM.  Somebody make up a 4-pointer!  Still only 27 minutes, and not even a “He’s on fire!” player from NBA Jam is gonna hit 9-11 treys most nights.  Worth a look in 12ers, but not dropping anyone solid.

D.J. Augustin Dimebag alert!  11/5/10/1/1 in his best game of the year.  Played 30 minutes over 18 from Brandon Jennings, who after some nice showings went back to BJ-ing last night.  Not much you can do with this other than hope BJ is making his jumpers and properly cupping the ball!

Kyle O’Quinn Only 20 minutes, but probably would’ve played more had A – Greg Monroe played more than 21 minutes, and 2 – the Magic weren’t blown out at home.  By the Pistons.  Such a weird series of events!  Pass the Jameson.

Victor Oladipo 16 points is nice and all, but 16/3/3/2/0 with 3 TO on 6-14 shooting is still not up to par with his perceived value in my humble sell-VO opinion.

LeBron James Sat out on his 30th birthday with a “sore knee.”  I wish I got days off work on my birthday!

Kyrie Irving Went bonkers with BronBron on the shelfshelf.  35/6/9/2/0 with three treys, but 8 TO.  Uncle Drew wants you!  To protect the basketball…

Tristan Thompson Blast from the past!  18/13 with no other stats except a TO.  And 0-5 FT!  Eschewing Andris Biedrins!

Paul Millsap Unstoppable!  26/9/3/2/3 rainbow, no TO, and hit all 6 FT.  Trillsap ending the year with a bang!

Pero Antic – The Hawks and their antics…  Started for Al Horford, who got sick during pregame.  I’m guessing it was after watching Thompson take some practice FTs…

Alex Len After a hot stretch had a toughie against the bruising Omer Asik and MVP Anthony Davis.  Welcome to the NBA!  Like they say when you’re knocked out of a Jenga competition – better days and more blocks ahead.

Brook Lopez Ughughughughugh!  Unless you drafted Brolo, then yayayayayay!  13-21 shooting moving back into the starting line-up for 29/5 and a couple of swats.  Start the death chant for Mason Plumlee…  The swan song…  The emo song…  With extra crying!  Plumlee “started” but only played 17 minutes and very sparsely in the 2nd half.  And to add insult to injury – the Nets won convincingly against the superior Bulls.  Prof. Plum was still 6/8/1/1/1, so I’m giving him another game or two even though Kevin Garnett got a DNP-old.

Jarrett Jack Well, it wasn’t the hottest game, but still usable.  11/2/5/1/0 with only 1 TO and much to Slim’s chagrin – chipped in a steal and a trey.  Yawnstipating indeed!  Albeit useful.  “Ahhhh, they’re calling me Yanstipating!  Wahhhhhhh, I’m Jarrett Jack!”

Deron Williams – Shot 1-8, yet almost rainbowed.  Rainblowed with his shot…  6/6/4/3/1.  Hurry up and get traded!

Jimmy Butler Even in one of his worst games, he finds a way to produce.  3-12 FG for 8/3/1/1/2.  Hey, a couple blocks might cost me in a matchup this week!

Tony Snell Just needs a chance… “Put me in coach!”  3-3 FG (all treys) for 9/2/1/0/2.  What I’m trying to say is, he’s better than Jimmy Butler

Aaron Brooks – Ejected for arguing.  If only the US Congress could adopt that rule!

Cory Joseph Man, once Tony Parker finally hangs up his sneaks it’s going to be agogo for Cojo!  18/3/3/3/0 last night, given a few were last minute buckets with the Spurs down 10.

Mike Conley Playing reeeeeeeeeeedonk.  30/7/6 hitting 10-13 FG (4-5 3PTM 6-7 FT).  Cojo just needs to work on that D, yo!

Rajon Rondo Ewwww, stinky.  11/1/5/1/0, but hit 3-4 FT!  It’s a New Year’s miracle!  In a bludgeoning blowout of the Wizards, really no Maverick had a game you’re too happy with.  Except…

Charlie Villanueva – …Gramps keeps killin’ it!  14/2 with 2 treys shooting 6-8.  Had 7 of those points on 3-3 shooting in the first quarter, then the rest in junk time.  Even 14 team ThrAGNOF streamable to me!

Kevin Seraphin – There’s nothing much you can do about it in redraft leagues, but the deep dynasties should keep an eye on him.  Flashed some fadeaways and looked good in garbage time, going 4-7 FG (1-1 FT) 9/6/1/0/2, with one of those swats a monster.

Nene Sprained his ankle yesterday and exited early.  As fragile as a Brazil Nut!  Which could also be classified as a seed!  Kris Humphries might get a couple more starting nods as Nene is having another Mr. Glass season.

Kobe Bryant – Tripdub!  Guess the Kobe stat line kinda lost it’s luster, huh?  Especially with all these benchings… New Year’s resolution #1!  Resurrect Guess the Kobe stat line!  23/11/11/2/1, with the near quaddub racking up 9 TO.  Shot only 6-11!  Hit three treys, and minus the TO, this was an elite game from a previously abhorrent %-killer.  Only 21 shots the past two games… With 18 assists…  New Kobe?

Ed Davis Broke his nose, and might be able to keep playing with a mask.  Pretty sure he hurt his nose on one of his line-drive FT attempts.  Those come rocketing off the rim!  Was 3-4 from the stripe last night though…

ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME??? – That’s what I propose Kenneth Faried change his last name to…  Back down to 21 minutes, yet nearly rainbowed for 4/4/2/2/1.  At least…

Jusuf Nurkic …is getting some deserved run, going 16/8/2/2/2 for his first career rainbow line.  7-10 from the field and 2-2 FT.  I haven’t seen a 20-year-old Bosnian this polished since my mail order bride!

Wilson Chandler My REL team is a curse.  Traded for him last week, anddddd gets hurt.  Luckily it sounds like only a minor quad bruise that kept him out of the second half last night, and should be fine.

Shabazz Muhammad My azz is on fire!  30/7/2/0/1, hitting 10-17 FG (5-6 3PTM 5-5 FT).  Man am I glad I got him in a league!  Even though the 3s were an outlier and he’s mostly a scorer-only, that high-volume FG% makes him must-ownable in virtually all leagues.

Andrew Wiggins The rebuilding Wolves starting to look dangerous in the future.  21/5/1/1/1 on 10-19 shooting for Wiggy, and looked pretty polished.  Bosnian mail-order bride polished!

Trey Burke Neither raw Zach LaVine or vet Mo Williams could D him up.  26/4/6 with three treys, and nary a TO.  He’s so up and down, I have chronic headrushes – and not the good ones.

Alec Burks I didn’t mean to bury it, but is out for the year with shoulder surgery.  I didn’t want to ruin the entire top of the last 2014 Daily Notes with back-to-back brutal injuries!  Rodney Hood is going to start, while some other schlubs get filtered in to make no one ownable in really any leagues.  Burke and Gordon Hayward get a minor boost.

Rudy Gobert Like I said yesterday, I just can’t trust him in the role ROS.  16 minutes of 0/5/0/0/1.  Ugh, awful finale for my streamer calls last night…  Monsieur Elbow looks good out there though!  Pounds the glass hard and very smooth.  One day!  One day…

James Johnson Playing like close to a must-own while starting.  7-11 FG for 14/11/2/1/0.  Before last night, was 9.5/4.3/1.5/1.5/1.3 in 4 starts.  Landry Fields is still out with a concussion, and JJ might have won the starting role regardless until DeMar DeRozan is back.  A little surprised he’s only owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues…

Joel Freeland – Well, might be a Robin Lopez-lite for 3 more weeks!  Even with LaMarcus Aldridge returning, Freeland went 2/12/0/1/2 last night in 32 minutes.  Thomas Robinson all the way down to a DNP-CD.  Three straight 10+ board games for Freeland with 1, 2 and 2 blocks in those.  Isn’t at the stripe often (14-17 this year) but can make em, and doesn’t turn it over.  A useful big for sure in deepers.

Tony Wroten – Just traded for him in my favorite league, so actually watched some of this travesty against the Warriors.  Funny anecdote – someone on the Yahoo box score commented “looks like a trap game!”  Might have been talking about the spread, but either way, ummmm…  Wroten is more careless with the ball than Jets’ QBs.  Buttfumble.  Geno Smith the other day.  5 TO and playing bad streetball.

Nerlens Noel Just looked terrible.

Michael Carter-Williams Was even worse.  To add insult to injury, Brett Brown played the starters the last 4 minutes against the Warriors second unit down 30.  Not even the second unit!  The dregs of their bench. And the Warriors benchwarmers looked so much better…  Brown is like, “see – this is how bad you all are…”

Draymond Green Had 3 steals and 3 blocks in the first quarter.  Man amongst, well awful at basketball men…  10/10/3/4/2 with a trey.  I would marry him…

Marreese Speights – The ace of Speights!  Dude, I so had him as one of my streamers at first, but after only playing 19 minutes in the Warriors blowout last Saturday, I didn’t think he’d get enough run.  Ended up playing 24 minutes (only 3rd time this year he’s played that much) for 23/4/4/0/4.  Shocked he played that long!  The Sixers were so bad that Leandro Barbosa threw in 17 points…

Streamers/Daily Fantasy Picks:

Don’t forget to set your line-ups early today!  New Year’s Eve games start at 1:00 PM!

Marvin Williams (5% owned) – Building off what I said above, I see Starvin Marvin getting 30ish minutes with multi-3s and close to a double-double against the Rockets.  Any minutes against Josh Smith means some steals should be comin’ too!

Jared Dudley (22% owned) – Yes.  Dudley is 22% owned.  Wow.  He’s hot, and worth using if you have an empty spot while playing the big minutes and getting treys and steals.  Multi treys in 5 of 6 and at least a steal in 8 straight.  Crazy but true!

Thanks again everyone in Razzball Nation for making 2014 a huge year!  We wouldn’t have the passion and fun we do without you guys, so we really appreciate it.  Have a wonderful and safe New Year’s and I’ll be back next Monday in 2015!

    JB,
Would you drop Shumpert for Marvin Williams or Bargniani in 16teamer? I have minor crisis but I am still doing quite well in my league and think that Shump may be only better if they sit Melo out. I have KOQ, Smart and KJ McDaniels too but I think that they are worth to stash for the second part of the season.
Greetings from Poland and Happy New Year!

    • JB Gilpin

@Martin: Yeah I’d lose Shump for Marvin, I indeed like Shump’s upside to be useful, but Al is gonna be out a while and think Marvin does well. Happy New Years, stay warm up there!

I just stopped by to bask in that wonderful Nurkic glow. Would someone please trade for Mozgov already. Best part about this was it looks like Mozgov was NOT in foul trouble. Nurkic just outplayed him. Nurkic vs Adams in a dynasty has turned into a really interesting comparison.

Obviously the Alec Burks/ AFFLALO!!!! injury really hurts me in the REL but he’s one of about 5 guys I have no interest in trading even with missing the year. I’m playing down a guy the rest of the way… so be it. I guess I would entertain a trade but it would have to be a comparably priced 23 (or younger) year old keeper. I doubt that happens. With the bad comes a ton of good though, Nurkic obviously, Wiggins looks like the real deal, Marvin and Biyombo are going to get an uptick in minutes. One injury isn’t going to make me a pushover.

Speaking of which, Wiggins is looking really good lately. I think he’s a better FT shooter than he’s been but right now it’s a problem. Wiggins is pretty much a 1/1/1 guy the past 5 or so games to go along with 3 games scoring 20 points. That’s special. The buy low window is quickly being slammed shut.

I said the Warriors would have 100 by the 3rd quarter… they only had 96. They really need to pick it up.

Dang it. Only 26 from Hayward. 30 points isn’t easy to come by. Guess I should have said Shabazz… I kinda did, but as Haywards opponent.

    • JB Gilpin

@Slim: I know, when I saw Shabazz with 30 I was like, “dayummmmm!” Nurkic looked great the little bit I watched. Wiggins is pretty awesome too, remember people asking if they should drop him?

      Damn that AFFLALOOOOOOO!

Should I lose Ed Davis for Len or STAT?

Man, some good options. I was about to say you can drop Rolo, but OREB makes him indeed worth the stash. Not in love with your guards, but prefer hoarding bigs for your format. I think I’m holding, I think Davis is the best fit with OREB, even over Sanders who I just despise

  7. Cale says:

What’s David Lee’s outlook the rest of the way? I’m worried about the limited minutes and what may happen when Bogut gets back. I suspected Speights would be the minutes victim, but maybe that’s not going to be the case?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Cale: Speights indeed should be the main victim, with Bogut playing way uner his season average of minutes too. I think Lee gets up to 30 minutes a game for 16/8 eventually

  8. dom says:

am I crazy for wanting to drop Al Jefferson in a shallow 10 team league with no IR? I stream very often and the idea of a dead roster space for a month does not appeal to me. ESPN literally won’t let me drop him at the moment anyway with him on the “undropable” list, not sure if that will change or what.

sup with John Henson can he keep blocking shots at this rate? Will he get minutes vs Cavs tonight? Ryan Anderson, Cory Joseph, Jose Calderon, Alex Len are any of these guys good streams tonight? Thanks a lot

    • dom says:
      (link)

@dom: it’s 8 cat roto, so Jefferson’s great playoff schedule doesn’t mean anything to me

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@dom: Dude, not crazy at all I am thinking about dropping him in a 12 team RCL as I’m .500 and want to make the playoffs. Which might be too bold/reactionary, but that team is struggling. Luckily Durant is on it and back tonight. ESPN should change the undroppable since he’s hurt for a long period of time.

Def can’t trust Henson, no Ilyasova or Sanders lately. Don’t know about the minutes. Whoa, Anderson is available? Like him by far the most in a vacuum.

  9. miles proudfoot. says:

Happy New Years guys! Go ahead and get rowdy tonight!

Someone for reasons beyond me dropped AlJeff. Do I drop nerlins or George hill or wiggins in an attempt to pick him up? Even with nerlins struggles, Hill right?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@miles proudfoot.: Thanks man, will do! Check out the comment above, I’m thinking about it on a desparate team. Think it’s longer than 4 weeks and the team is gonna be awful and out of the playoffs by then. That said, yeah dropping Hill for him if you’re doing well and can afford the stash

  10. Scott says:
    (link)

Some guy in my league has Stephen Curry AND Klay Thompson. If he makes it in the playoffs, he’s gonna win. should I sell the farm to try to get one of those?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Scott: Nah, I mean not necessarily. Hows his bigs? You assume you’d lose 3s, but if they’re both cold in week 1 or 2, FG% should go your way too. I wouldn’t for Klay, but Curry is worth a big offer, Slim did that in our Dynasty league getting Curry

      • Ryan says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: ^This. Adding to what JB said, I wouldn’t worry about him having Curry and Thompson, so long as you can adjust your lineup accordingly (If its a weekly league). In my 12er H2H league I’m playing my friend who has both of them and is currently in 1st place overall. His guards are amazing, but his bigs suck except for Drummond and Pau Gasol.

I approached this week knowing that I was going to have some issues with 3’s, assists, and steals and responding by making sure that I am solid in every other category. Since Sunday, I literally dropped all my 3 pt streamers for bigs and guards that shoot high %s and contribute in blocks/steals/assists.

So far my entire team is shooting an unreal 58% from the field after two nights and I’m up 6-3 with a numerical advantage in games for the rest of the week. I’d definitely trade for Curry if I could swing it for a reasonable price, but my point is that you can still win if you do some proper planning.

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Ryan: Yup, it’s only two players and Klay still isn’t elite. I’d be more scared against a Brow/Lowry/Draymond/Jimmy Butler team these days. I’m sure a few of those exist!

Just pulled the trigger on this one:

    Bosh, Conley, Oladipo, and Aldrich
    for
    Griffin, Klay, BKnight, and Batum

Weirdest part of this trade is that I started off the negotiations with Aldrich as the centerpiece since the guy is a Knicks fan.

    Thoughts?

@kisses: Conley is playing unreal, sucks to lose him. Griffin>Bosh Knight>Oladipo nad depending on format, I tend to like COnley over Klay. I think I like it, I’m just a big Conley fan 🙂 Nice on buying Batum low though and you majorly help your treys

@JB Gilpin: it was either Conley or Lowry and I would rather Lowry right now. I’m near the bottom I my H2H league thanks to some really unfortunate and frustrating ties so I figured I should shake things up a bit.

The 76ers giveth, and then they taketh away. Lately they mostly taketh. I’m honestly in a crux about what to do with MCW and Noel given my league’s particular keeper format (keep up to 3, but each keeper costs you a pick one round higher than drafted). Am I keeping the faith on those two, both of whom I drafted, or keeping an eye on other pastures? Or maybe see if I can put them as quasi-throw ins to upgrade elsewhere? [Note: I’m not dropping IT2 until the deadline due to the possibility that Dragic gets traded.]

Available: Shabazz (DAT PERCENTAGE), J.Jack (everyteam needs a PG), Price (he steals, and he’s starting), KJM (if he ever gets 30 minutes…), Olynk (deceptively helpful), Redick (ugh, Duke, but he’s producing), Gobert (does Kanter get traded, or leave?)

10-team, h2h, 9-cat. Number denotes what round they were drafted.
    (1) Melo, (2) Durant, (3) Conley, (4) Marc G., (5) Matthews, (6) Jrue, (7) Noel, (7) Tyreke, (8) MCW, (8) West, (10) IT2.

    • Ryan says:
      (link)

@Joe: I’m a bit confused. How does your league deal with those who are keeping their first rounders? I imagine that they can’t really do anything but take away your first round pick right? (which they would already be doing if you decided to keep KD?) If that is indeed the case, I feel like its practically a no-brainer to keep Melo and KD.

I can see that you made some awesome value picks by looking at the rest of that list. Jrue in the 6th, M Gasol in the 4th, MCW at 8th? Great job man, its tough to determine who your last keeper would be because of the restrictions, but I would opt for one of those picks above since its reasonable to expect them to contribute value at least one round above their drafted value this year.

Some may disagree with me, but I’d much rather Gasol or Holiday even with MCW being taken all the way in the 8th. MCW certainly has lots of untapped potential, but I see no indication that his shot or ast:TO ratio has gotten better this year. Personally I think the team he is on is as much to blame for this as he is, and I doubt that the situation in Phili is going to vastly improve next season. If it were me, I’d try to use the allure of a cheap 7th round MCW as a major trading chip this season in an attempt to get an upgrade somewhere.

      • Joe says:
        (link)

        @Ryan:

Ha, hey Ryan! In case you check this, the answer is, you don’t get to keep your 1st round pick. This was done because people who draft one of the top 5 players (Davis, Curry, LeBron, Harden, KD generally) get so much of a performance edge that even making a draft serpentine doesn’t quite make up for it. So I don’t get to keep Melo. I wound up with KD in round two because I was pick 10 and 11, and nobody wanted to risk picking KD in round 1 – where you can’t keep him – and see him be out for much longer.

As for keepers, I’m definitely keeping KD, who will cost me my 1st round pick, Marc G., who will cost me a 3rd round pick but play like a top 15 player if healthy, and then it’s up for grabs. If I was doing it today, Jrue Holiday, since he’s a top 40 player who’d cost me my 5th round. HOWEVER, if Dragic gets traded by the deadline and doesn’t resign with Phoenix, then IT2 will blow up just like he did last year, and would only cost a round 9 pick to keep. That’s the only reason I’m tolerating him so far. In such a shallow league, I don’t otherwise hold on to reserve players.

        Thanks for the response!

@Joe: Hahaha, love the “ugh Duke” detail.

I’d have to own Shabazz somehow. Def exploring some 2-for-1s, but I’m fine grabbing him for Noel or West. Love dat% too man! Wow, West’s blocks are coming back though… No way Noel is a 7th round keeper nowadays, I thought we’d see some progression by now.

Matthews might be borderline unkeepable in the 5th, I think I mentioned he is a good tradable guy too. Matthews+MCW for an ugrade with Matthews playing hot lately?

@Jose: I’d drop Diaw of those, might outproduce Mirotic narrowly if no Bulls get hurt, but Mirotic has so much upside if it happens.

I will settle for nothing less than complete and utter domination in this week’s match-up. I have a legitimate chance to go 7-2 or possibly 8-1 this week against the first place team, but may need a few extra steals and assists to secure this result.

I have 1 more match-up acquisition spot left, and would probly only choose to play my recent pickup on the 1st, 3rd, or 4th since all my studs are playing tonight and on the 2nd. Given these conditions, I think my best options are:

Norris Cole, Lavine, Tony Allen, CJ Watson, Evan Turner
Who would you take out of these?

Also have Nurkic, Williams, Gobert and Biyombo available, unfortunately I’m just not sure that they fit my current needs.

Thanks for all the help in 2014!

@Ryan: Ewwwwww Evan Turner! What a schlub. Boston in another full punt.

I would take LaVine. Only guy with the upside for huge assists and can get steals even though he’s up and down.

Thanks for reading man, happy new years!

        • Ryan says:
          (link)

@JB Gilpin: Thanks, I was leaning towards Lavine cuz of that huge 14 ast game and also because he plays two more games this weak.

Trust me I’m not a huge fan of Turner either. Just thought it should be pointed out as something to keep an eye on for all the Smart owners out there, especially if Evans new role eventually begins to get in the way of Smart’s PT.

I unfortunately was unable to watch most of today’s game, but both of them put up solid numbers (albeit against SAC). Smart, Turner and Nelson each got over 20 minutes.

Smart: 3/6/2/2/0/11 4/8 from the field
          Turner: 0/6/11/3/0/10 4/10
Evan Turner gets 11 assists —> Mind Explodes

Happy new years JB! I see some are giving Nurkic some love but may wanna pump the brakes on it. His fouls per36 are 9.5…no that is not a typo…lol. So, doubt he can carve out a consistent role seeing as he is a fouling machine. Sure, he could improve on that but man that is an insanely high number. One more thing…give Meeks a little more love man! Def worth owning in 12 teamers imo. He is just now getting in a groove and will be an important part of that offense. Been reading just not commenting much…as always appreciate what you do and the work you put in for all of us readers!

@JoeMorgan’sMustache: Happy new year! Yup, we’ve been saying Nurkic’s fouls are a problem on the pod, and I don’t think he’s in a consistent role yet. Slim and I both like his upside in a dynasty sense, not quite for even 14ers redraft yet.

Ehhhh, screams ThrAGNOF to me still. I do own him in a 12er since he’s hot – mostly he was my favorite streaming option and I got that 9 3ptm game. Gona hold and see, but he’s def in that streaming spot if I need something over the weekend. I don’t think he’s gonna play 30 minutes most nights, and Stan Van benches you if you’re cold.

Good to see ya man, really appreciate that!

@Hype: I’d lose McDaniels or Len, then stream that spot based on needs assuming this is a H2H league. That’s what id do. If you get 7 moves per week that’s 7+ extra games per week depending on schedule

        @Bye Felicia:
Yup its h2h but We have limited moves of 4 per week and 40 for the year. Would you drop Len first before mcdaniels? Or should I have patience in them? Aldrich looking good though.

    Hey guys,

Just got offered an interesting trade.

My Andre Drummond for opponents Carmelo in 12-team, 9-cat, H2H

    My team is as follows:

    C. Joseph
    Kemba
    Avery Bradley
    LeBron
    DeMarre Carroll
    Giannis
    DeAndre Jordan
    Drummond
    Mario Chalmers
    Zach LaVine
Jose Calderon (need to get rid)
    Wes Mathews
    Joe Johnson

I’ve currently got plenty of 3s and plenty of Rebs/Blocks, but low-ish on points, so Melo could be good for that. But I don’t really want to trade one of my only two centres. Should I counter and try and get one of his Bigs in a trade? His team is as follows:

    D. Collison
    Arron Aflalo
    Zach Randolph
    Redick
    Chandler Parsons
    Nerlens Noel
    Bosh
    James Johnson
    Gobert
    Rondo
    Vucevic
    Courtney Lee

      @Mike:

Plus, getting rid of Drummond could mean I can finally stop punting FTs, yay! (seeing as DJ is putting in such small volume at the line)

@Mike: Whewwwww that’s close man. So much risk for Melo… I kinda like your twin towers to be honest. I don’t think I’d wanna break em up for Melo that could be shut down the final month. I just don’t trust Noel enough/don’t wanna give up on blocks getting Randolph enough to get a reasonable big with Melo… Vucevic would be good to get but then you’d have to give back something good too… I don’t see a great trade option to be the bearer of bad news…
