You wanted them. You needed them. You asked for them. You begged for them. Nothing of the aforementioned happened, but my Top 155 projections for roto leagues are here for another year! If you need another reason not to trust me with these projections, check this review of last year’s projections for a recap of their accuracy.

As per usual, the player’s value taken into account is their per game value, so the order of the projections needs to be looked at with a critical eye. That means that, although Chris Paul is above Jrue Holiday in per game value, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend drafting him there, as his potential stay in Oklahoma will reduce his total played games this season.

Finally, before we dive into the numbers, you can check the methodology behind the calculation of the player values here .

Notable Players

Mitchell Robinson: I didn’t expect him to climb all the way to my top 20, but if his blocks are for real, so will his value.

Otto Porter: My love for him in roto is well documented. He was a top 25 player after his move to Chicago last year.

Malcolm Brogdon: My boldest projection this year, as I have extremely high hopes that he becomes a more focal point in Indiana’s offense. This should improve his scoring, assists, and usage.

Larry Nance: He is not a flashy pick, but he ended last year as the 53rd ranked player. The youth movement in Cleveland should help his minutes.

Luka Doncic: I’m sure this is the lowest you will see Doncic in any projections. I really like him for dynasty, but his percentages and turnovers are too much to handle, especially in roto. If he can improve his ft% and fg%, he can easily move into the top 30.

Trae Young: The same can be said for Young. He had an explosive finish to end the previous year but he needs to improve his decision making and shot selection in order to increase his roto value.

Zion Williamson: Kostas, you can’t be serious. You can’t project Zion outside the top 75. He is an athletic beast with elite effective percentages in his college career. Yes and yes, but as always, the numbers don’t lie. Zion will have the ball in his hands a lot, but I project he will have a tougher time scoring against NBA-level athletes. The main stat holding back his value is his ft%.

Brandon Clarke: I risk being called a heretic by ranking him just one spot after Zion, but hear me out on this one. Memphis is in full rebuild and they need to give minutes to their youngsters. Jonas Valanciunas has never averaged more than 28 minutes in his career, so there are backup minutes available at the 4 and the 5 spot. Clarke is an experienced rookie, playing three years in college, and can translate his fantasy-friendly game to the NBA.

Delon Wright: Love his fit alongside Luka Doncic and he proved he can contribute when given minutes in Memphis last year (ranked 64th after the trade)

Nerlens Noel: Every year, there is one player who I can’t get a feel for. Noel is that player this year, as he will likely outperform all expectations based on nothing rational. Maybe it’s because the Thunder are in rebuild mode or maybe it’s because Steven Adams won’t be encouraged to push through injuries or log heavy minutes now that results are not immediately important. Maybe I need to cut down on alcohol and heavy dinner after midnight. We will know at the end of the season.

Jarrett AllenDeAndre Jordan: I had high hopes for Allen as he enters his third year in the league, but the arrival of Jordan caps his immediate production this year. This will likely be a timeshare situation to avoid in redraft leagues.

Thaddeus Young: There are some inevitable things in life: Death, taxes, Thanos, and Thaddeus Young sneaking his way into top 80 roto value year in and year out. This year, he will have a reserve role in Chicago, but I still think he can contribute enough to crack the top 155.

These were some of the most notable players in the projections. I will gladly discuss them or any other projection in the comments below. I hope these projections help you get to the fantasy championship and I can’t wait for the season to begin!!

Here to get your thoughts on best value for keepers. It’s for a H2H league though.
Other keeper is Trae who will cost me a 8th and I have the 2nd and 14th pick.

    Player – Cost of Round
    Middleton – 7th
    Bagley – 10th
    Bryant – 10th

I’m seeing Bryant more and more climb up the charts lately.
Thanks for your insights and the great read.

I think you should definitely keep Bryant and Middleton. They are excellent value for the round you are giving up. I’m on the fence for Bagley but I could see him outperform the 10th round draft pick you have to give up.

But if it’s between Bagley and Bryant I would pick Bryant for sure.

Hey Ikken, I will look into editing the article with an excel link but you can also copy- paste the projection table into excel and it should work!

Hey Moshe, I told you in your previous comment that the projections were coming !

I’m not a fan of punting in Roto. It seems really difficult to win in a competitive Roto league if you have only 1 point in a category.

Going 5th, I would love to have Towns fall to me and then look to get a good guard with assists in the second or third round. The same can be said for Jokic but Towns has the slight edge in my book.

I am not a fun of it too and I tried some mocks on it and I finish low in STL no matter what I tired.
better to go young on 2nd and hope for a good blk in 3rd or go Turner in 2nd and Lowry in 3rd

Yeah, you need a lot of STL specialists in that case and I’m not sure it’s worth it in the end.
