Injury karma, man…  The injury gods love to play with our emotions, and they really jacked with the Bucks last night!  First with the good – The Duchess returned to the court with great fanfare!  Sooooo good to get Khris Middleton back, after it was initially thought he might miss the entire 2016-17 season.  The Duchess got 15 minutes off the bench for 5/2/2/0/1 on 2-5 shooting.

Looked pretty healthy out there!  He’s going to be on a 15-20 minute limit until the All-Star Break, but that’s in a mere week, so we could see him getting unleashed sooner than later.  Then on the flip side, a mere 2 quarters after the long-awaited season debut of Middleton, Jabari Parker suffered a scary knee injury, and is scheduled for an MRI today.  From all reports it didn’t look good (I don’t like to watch injury highlights…), and it’s the same knee he tore his ACL in his rookie year, so we’re all holding our breath here.  Would be a big shame to see him miss a lot of time after putting together this breakout campaign…  Well, let’s be all happy and pie in the sky the rest of the daily notes today!  Here’s what went down on a busy Wednesday night in fantasy basketball:

Kyle Korver – Lemme show ya how ta ThrAGNOF!  Off a 4 trey game, going against a fast-paced Indiana team, this woulda been a great opp to stream some 3s if you didn’t have a full lineup last night.  29/5/0/0/0 with 8 treys on a red hot night.

C.J. Miles – Apparently this game was the BATTLE of the ThrAGNOFs!  23/4/0/0/1 with 6 treys.  Even though he shot 7-11 overall, “led” the team with a -20.  Which doesn’t matter at all, just funny.  Cavs having a 40-18 third quarter was insane!

Jeff Teague – Off a 3 dime game, comes out and dishes for wishes, going 22/5/14/2/0 with 3 treys.  Hard to believe next to such a USG-whore in Paul George that Teague would be blowing his AST career high outta the water (up to 8.2 now).

Kawhi Leonard – I was nervous he was going to sit again since the Spurs were at Philly, but Pop gave him a go, and he was actually pretty needed!  32/6/5 with 3 treys and 11-11 FT in a game the Spurs had to kinda grind through to win.

Dewayne Dedmon – Taking the bull by the horns at the starting C position, going 10/11/3/0/1 in 26 minutes, giving him 3 double-digit rebounding games and 2 dubdubs outta his last 4.

Jahlil Okafor – Getting the showcase circuit!  20/8/0/0/2 including a shocking 10-11 FT.  Maybe a team will trade for him now!

Dario Saric – Got hot off the bench, going 20/1/3 with 4 treys on 8-11 shooting.  While he’s been better with the scoring and nabbing a few boards (last night notwithstanding) lately, the D stats are pretty empty and he’s spread out only 10 treys the last 10 games.

Will Barton – THRILLER!!!!  Except, you have to say it in the Michael Jackson voice…  17/7/7/3/2 for the Thrill, on 6-19 shooting.  But missed 0-9 from downtown, what in the hay?!  Like they say in Speed, keep driving, Wildcat!  PS, when is a city bus driver ever as hot as Sandra Bullock, amiright?!

Kenneth Faried – Uh oh.  Bad ankle sprain, and was on crutches and in a boot after the game.  Manimal down!  The Nugs just went small though, helping Barton get to his 38 minutes.  Unless a free INJ spot, I think you can let Manimal run free in that farm in upstate, with the other barnyard animals.

Dennis Schroder – Das German just needed to play Das Jameer!  Tore him up for 24/5/10/3/0 on 10-19 shooting.  Steals aren’t quite at 1.0 yet, but 5 in the last 3 games and dimebags in 2 of the last 3, woohoo!  Everyone I think expected him to be gangbusters outta the gate, hard to forget he had only made a handful of starts before this year!

Brandon Ingram – Fresh off the nice win at Madison Square Garden with Poppycocker fans booing their own team, the Lakers then get rocked in Detroit…  Ingram was OK though!  15/4/5/0/0 with 3 TO and 3 treys.  It’s still kinda blah to me…

Andre Drummond – Yeah Lakers, let’s start the undersized Tarik Black against Drummo, and hope it all works…  Smh…  24/17/0/3/4 as they criminally underplayed my boyfriend Ivica.

Reggie Jackson – Continues to find himself in the StanVan Chokey (not the Chokey!), getting only 23 minutes for 4/2/8/0/0.  StanVan actually praised him after the game, and he had a minor injury he played through (plus in a blowout), so maybe all is still well.

Bradley Beal – The Wiz got taken to OT by the Mess?!?!  Luckily they pulled out a W, but sheesh!  Beal led the way, going 31/6/2/2/0 with 3 treys on 12-25 shooting.  Is Markieff Morris the key to this team?!  Got a DNP in this one and fouled out in the Cavs game, their first home loss in a while…

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson – Had a nice outing, going 13/11/2/1/0 in 31 minutes.  He starts, but hadn’t sniffed 30 minutes except once in the last 10 games.  Coach Asshat still driving this to the ground!

Trevor Booker – I don’t/didn’t have any shared of The Bookworm, but definitely got irked when I saw he was demoted to the bench.  But the Asshat maybe knew something here!  Been reinvigorated off the pine, going 14/11/2/0/1 last night, and is 12.0/9.3/2.3/1.2/0.5 over his last 6.  I’d be sure he’s still owned.

Joe Johnson – Pelican destruction!  The Jazz are pretty much like BP, and decimated the Pelican population there in Nawleans…  Big game from JJ off the bench, turning back the clock for a 27/3/1 game on 10-14 shooting with 6 treys.  The rest of the love from the Jazz was nice and spread around, in their 127 point effort, winning by 33.

Terrence Jones – Ugh, I think I had Tjones as my sit for Dante Green, sorry Dante!  How was I supposed to know the rest of the Pelicans would be invalids this game!?  21/8/1/1/0 on 9-16 shooting from Tjones, the lone bright spot in an awful game.

Hassan Whiteside – So the Heat just set a record yesterday, for being the first sub-.500 team to win 12 straight games.  As in, remain under .500 after a 12-game win streak.  And we’re not even at the ASB yet, that’s how bad they started!  AND are 23-30 still!!!!  Anyway, at least Whiteside is showing up again, going 23/16/0/0/1.  That said, the FT never fixed (55.7% ugghhhh) and blocks are down (2.0 after getting 3.7 last year, woof!).  I’d start shopping aggressively after this nice run the past 4 games.

James Johnson – Since I’m a grandpa and go to sleep so early, I didn’t see his final line.  He started a little slow, but when writing the notes this morning, I dropped a loud “F$*% YES!” seeing his final line!  I need REL miracles to beat Slim, baby!  20/4/4/2/2 on 7-12 shooting (2-5 3PTM 4-5 FT).  The year of the neck tat!

Malcolm Brogdon – After the Heat jumped up 28-15 after the first, Kidd went to a lot of second unit and kept Broggy going over Matthew Dellavedova (only 15 minutes of blahhhhh).  Broggy was still only 6/2/6/3/0 in 33 minutes, so it’s a PG shituation I’m still mostly avoiding in 12ers.

Tyus Jones – Damn, from DNP hell to hero!  After barely being in the rotation, is getting a ton of run with Kris Dunn a little banged up (hand), closing out the Raptors on this dagger:

Still a pretty blah game though – 5/0/3/2/0 in 27 minutes.  Interestingly Dunn was “available” but unlikely to play, and Ricky Rubio only got 21 minutes.  Letting the USG-whore get a lot of touches!

Andrew Wiggins – 31/5/6/2/1 with a trey and 8-9 FT.  Meh, he had 0 AST the game before and still looks like pretty empty scoring beforehand.

Shabazz Muhammad – Helping fill the LaVine void, going 22/2/2 in 26 minutes.  Minny need a scorer!

DeMarre Carroll – Most of the Raps did what Raps do. Carroll was good offensively though, going 19/9/2 and 5-5 from downtown.  Didn’t D-up Wiggy though!

Charles Oakley – Yeah I know, whaaaaaaaaaaat?!  Sat near the owner Dolan, and got arrested DURING THE GAME in the second row, causing the game to stop.  #Poppycockers!  Way to arrest your better former players during a game, hah!  Then to make things worse, they cough up a lead letting the Clip outscore them 31-20 in the 4th and win by 4…  Unreal.  Worst trainwreck this side of the Lakers!  Who woulda thought that in the 90s?!

Kyle O’Quinn – Remaining the starter, and for this one you wanted the KOQ, not the Willy!  18/6/2/3/2 for a rainbow in 25 good starting minutes (especially against DJ), with Willy Hernangomez remaining useful too, going 5/9/4.  It still feels a little messy though…

Derrick Rose – At least Rose looked a little better going 20/7/8, but bleh.

Brandon Knight – Lot of blowouts last night, and not much to speak of for the Suns except a B Knight sighting?!  16/2/2/2/0 with 2 treys, giving him two nice games in a row.  Meh, I’m waiting until he’s maybe on a different team before considering much…

Chandler Parsons – Yeah, figured he’d have one of his best games of the year right after Slim trades for him in the REL…  What a schlub!  Both Slim AND Parsons!  8/3/7/0/2 with 2 treys in 24 minutes.  Feeling like he needs to be owned again if available – especially with the ASB right around the corner.  Long week off, and maybe he can get it going again like last year.

Robin Lopez – Not surprisingly, not much a-doin’ against the Dubs last night as the Bulls got slaughtered. But Rolo was OK, going 17/10/4/1/0 and maintaining a decent little run.  Of course if they trade for Okafor which has been rumored, that would kill the worst player in basketball.

JaVale McGee – Shocker!  All the Dubs were pretty good.  Well, Steph Curry was a little disappointing for 13/1/6 and only one trey…  But McGee continues to be BLOCKnof usable for 13/6/0/0/2 in 16 minutes, and survived a hard fall that led to a locker room exit.  He’s supposed to be OK though…

Jae Crowder – The C’s were surprisingly stagnant against the Kings, with The Boston Clam Crowder mad cold!  No one wants cold chowdah!  0-6 from the field, as the Kings beat a good Celtics team, WITHOUT DeMarcus Cousins!  Crazy!

Willie Cauley-Stein – Big reason was WCS, going 14/5/4/0/1 including this inhuman alley:

WCS – Go-go gadget, wing span!  The bench really came out to play this one.

Darren Collison – Your only starter to do much, but damn he looked great!  26/1/5/4/0 on 12-21 shooting in 38 minutes, as they tried the combo guard thing, with Ty Lawson starting then leaving after only 14 minutes with a hammy strain.  Apparently it looked like a bad one.  This should give Colly the driver’s seat, and we saw what he did with it last night!  Must own in all leagues.

I hope everyone had a productive outing from a full starting lineup on this heavy Wednesday slate, and we’ll catch you tomorrow morning with the Podcast!  Shoot your thoughts below, Razzball Nation!
