Nope, OG plays defense, hits the open shot, and casually drops dimes for game winners as if they were nothing. He acts like he’s been there before because he’s probably been there a million times in his head and at practice. Early in his career, OG was just a 3-and-D player. Now?

Yesterday, the Raptors were without Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam so OG garnered a 24.7 usage rate, a season-high. For perspective, that was the first time he had a usage rate over 20. On the season, he’s a top 40 player for fantasy and has been a top 15 player over the past seven games. He’s been averaging 36 minutes, 18.7 points, 3.7 tres, 6.3 boards, 1.6 dimes, 2.6 steals, and 0.6 blocks while shooting 54% from the field and 83% from the line. He’s only 23 years old but this OG already has the respect of both the youngsters and elders in the community.

Got the start and played 31 minutes, as Pascal Siakam was out due to a knee issue. This Johnson won’t score enough to get past third base but he has grabbed some boards and contributed tres and defensive stats in the limited playing time he’s received. Prior to yesterday, he had received over 10 minutes in six straight games with three over 20 minutes.

Played a whopping 41 minutes. It’s interesting that a Nurse doesn’t side on the conservative side when it comes to playing time. I feel like VanVleet has been underwhelming this season, as I can’t recall the last time I wrote him up. Granted, I don’t remember if the shower I took was earlier this morning or yesterday. Raises arm in the air, takes a deep whiff, then…..whhoooaaaaa. It was yesterday. VanVleet is a top 35 player on a per-game basis, below the top 25 where he finished last year, but way ahead of where I thought he was.

Got the start for Kyle Lowry and played 37 minutes. Last season, Powell finished as a top 65 player. No Stormin’ Norman this season as he’s barely a top 200 player. He has been slightly better over the past few weeks, but not by much, as the only improvement has been in the efficiency. He will score points and provide some tres and steals.

In 21 minutes off the bench. Over the past three games, Boucher has played 21, 20, and 23 minutes. Prior to that, he received 28, 31, 30, 32, 24, and 29 minutes of run. <insert shrug emoji> The only logical explanation I can give is that maybe he’s not 28 years old, but instead like 38 and his body can’t handle it, like those Latin baseball players. Doesn’t make sense, right? Exactly.

That stat was from Basketball Reference. According to Elias Sports Bureau, Wilt Chamberlain hold the record with 227 consecutive dub-dub. L. O. L. Should’ve figured. With all those Myles I have walked, it’s time to set up the hammock, chill out, and appreciate the fantasy goodness he is providing. I’ve had your back from the beginning! Except for that small stretch where I said I was sick of walking all those Myles. Whoops. On the season, Myles is the number eight player, primarily due to the 4.1 blocks per game!! He’s also averaging 1.6 tres and 1.5 steals. A new member of the 1/1/1 club!

Continues to start and played 39 minutes. All business and work for this Holiday. In seven starts, Holiday has scored double figures in only four of those games and this was only the fourth time he’s grabbed at least 10 boards in a game. The last time he performed the feat was back in 2018.

In 20 minutes off the bench. Lamb has been a popular waiver add but he’s only played over 20 minutes in one out of four games. Baaaaaaaaaaaaa. Maybe this Lamb just needs to percolate on the grill a little more. Keep an eye on the minutes but he can contribute in points, tres, boards, and steals.

Got another start for Al Horford and played 26 minutes. In six starts this year, Roby has averaged 26.3 minutes, 12 points, 0.5 tres, 7.2 boards, 2.5 dimes, and 1.2 steals with 55% field goal percentage and 58% free throw shooting. When he comes off the bench, Roby only averages 15 minutes. Horford will likely return soon but could get traded later in the season. That would free Roby.

That ain’t bad, yo. If I have another kid, I’m naming him or her Shai. Wife walks in, reads blurb, and walks away laughing. More kids??!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAAH.

In 20 minutes off the bench. Diallo won’t play much more than 20 minutes a game but can provide some points, boards, and steals. He’s shooting 52% from the field on the season but only 62% from the line. Still boggles my mind that these pro players can’t shoot free throws.

Hayward is a top 25 player on the season! Jordan gets his Great White Hope after flailing on Adam Morrison back in the day. The only thing Hayward doesn’t contribute much in is blocks, but everything else is magnifique. The most impressive aspect of Hayward’s game is the efficiency, as he’s shooting 50% from the field on the season and has stretches when he’s converting over 60% of his shots. Is it the hair?

The shooting is rough (40% on the season and 69% from the line) but 1.5 tres, 6.5 boards, 5.9 dimes, and 1.5 steals in 24.6 minutes makes me want to tear off my clothes and run outside naked while screaming at the top of my lungs. Ball is a top 80 player on the season. Start him, cowards!!!

In the three games since Fournier returned to action, he’s averaged 32.3 minutes, 23.7 points, three tres, 2.7 boards, 5.7 dimes, and one steal. The free-throw shooting has been ugly at 60% but he’s an 80% shooter so no worries. The Evan is pure and wholesome but doesn’t have the fizz and pop of many of its contemporaries.

Over the past four games, Cole has been a top 110 player and shooting 41% from the field. That’s crap, Son! Everything is relative grasshopper. Remember that Cole was shooting in the low-to-mid 30s for much of the season and is outside the top 200 on the season. Progress. The eye-opening stats is the 4.5 boards he’s grabbing.
The Celtics punked the Cavs, 141-103. Four of the Cavs starters played fewer than 20 minutes. LOL. No stat boxes for you!!!
Only one Celtics player played more than 25 minutes, Marcus Smart with 27. Why was Stevens punishing him?

In 19 minutes!!! Minutes are for losers, says Brown. Over the last five games with Tatum out of the lineup, Brown has garnered a 37.4 usage rate. In the last three games, that number has been 41.4! On the season, Brown is the number 16 player for fantasy. He’s shooting 53% from the field and 77% from the line. The free-throw shooting is an encouraging development as he would often shoot in the mid-60s.
With Deni Avdija, Davis Bertans, Troy Brown Jr., Rui Hachimura, Ish Smith, and Moritz Wagner all out, Isaac Bonga and Jerome Robinson got the starts. Bonga produced seven points, seven boards, one dime, one steal, one block, and one tres in 33 minutes while Robinson contributed 16 points, five boards, four dimes, one block, and three tres. They got their five minutes of fame but still not worthy of stat boxes. The world ain’t fair. What can I tell you?

Wagner was out this game, so not sure we can make too much of this performance. With that said, it’s wwwwwaaaaaaayyyy more than I expected, especially with how poorly he had played in Toronto. Something to keep an eye on and could impact Wagner and Lopez. Or not.
