Ahhhhh, our epic Jusuf Nurkic vs. Nikola Jock Itch debates.  16-17 might become remembered as the year of the Nuggets big men Civil War.  I wanna be on Iron Man’s side!

In a gutsy battle with the Craptors, the Nugs almost pulled out a great road win, putting together a huge 3rd quarter and getting a lead for most of the 4th.  We the North still ended up notching the W, and so did Slim and the Nurk > Joke  contingent!  I still feel like I have to remind everyone that I ranked Nurk ahead of all experts, and was middle-of-the-pack-to-slightly-below-consensus on Jokic.  But alas, I did think Slim was a little crazy saying he wanted Nurk over Joke outright, and after last night, it’s looking like it’s going to be a coin flip any given outing.  The real head-scratcher is Nurkic lead the team with a preposterous 38 minutes.  Lunacy!  Ended up going 13/18/1/1/5 in a great line, but did struggle with the %s, shooting 5-14 FG and 3-7 FT.  He’s just so big out there…  Look at poor Pit-Pat trying to block him, what are you doing Pit-Pat?!

I think this matchup made sense, as Nurk is a good fit to D up The Luminescent Lithuanian, and with his size and D presence, can help out on the Lowry and DeRozan iso drives.  Erstwhile, I thought Nikola Jokic looked pretty good, but only played 22 minutes, going 12/4/1/0/0.  Shot 6-9, but 4 TO?!  The Nugs only had 8 TO as a whole, so friggin’ Jock Itch had half their giveaways, plus had 4 fouls in that limited run.  Just wasn’t his night.

So what to do with these guys?  I think you gotta just deploy them as usual, and hope the coin flips your way any given game.  As long as it doesn’t pull a Watchmen and land standing up.  I think that was Watchmen, I know it was in the dumb movie Ed too, about Joey from Friends teaching a monkey to pitch.  Hahahaha, how terrible.  I just had to link the trailer, because I watched it for 30 seconds to be sure I was citing the right movie, and holy crap.  This is the most fantastic 2 minutes of my life:

If that doesn’t make you laugh, nothing will!  I’m all over the place this morning…  To wrap that metaphor, I guess Kenneth Faried would be if the coin landed straight up, and at least he only saw 15 minutes.  I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Nurk gets 22 minutes next time out, Jock Itch 35, and Jock Itch has the big game.  Going to be frustrating game to game.  But for last night, Slim gets to gloat!  Here’s what else happened last night in fantasy basketball action:

Dennis Schroder Hit Der Dreis!  How’d I do Paul?!  17/3/5/0/0 isn’t the hugest of lines, especially shooting 5-14, but he looked great at the eye level to me.  Of course, going against a lit Ty surely helps!  Only 1 TO for Schrodes as well…

Paul Millsap Maybe we shouldn’t have been too bullish on Schroder’s dimes, as this is Sapper Dan’s offense!  13/14/8/3/4, giving him 18 dimes through the first three games.  6 dimes a game is no joke!

Kent Bazemore Still mired in a bit of a slow start (29.6% from the field, 18.2% from deep), but 11/2/1/3/1 with no TO is a nice step back up.  A big concern though is 28 minutes last night was his season high; it looks like 30 MPG might not be in the cards.  Stupid Thabo Sefolosha!  Tough to sell Baze for much, but if he strings together a few more good games I might sell high, the minutes worry me.

Dwight Howard Are you effing kidding me…  After whining that he gets a 3-4 FT week in a close battle for FT% week 1, he goes 8-20 from the stripe last night.  Week one should’ve extended through Monday!  I hate week-to-week noise…  At least the line is what you were expecting for Dwight (18/11/1/0/4, 2 TO) if you FT punted.

Mike Muscala A lot of Chicken Muscala comments lately, and not surprisingly, pretty ho-hum 10/3/0/0/0 last night.  6-8 FT is nice (did the Kings confuse him with Dwight when they subbed?!), but in 20 MPG off the bench, it’ll be tough to trust the D stats will flow in night-to-night.

Ty Lawson – A good streamer this week for the 5-game SACs, Lawson goes 8/2/6/3/0 with only 1 TO.  The 23:09 is a little low, especially since he said he expected to play 40 MPG or some crap outta the gate, but that line times 5 you’ll definitely take if you streamed him in weeklies.

Matt Barnes – I still think my high rank could end up working out, as he got hot from deep and knocked down 4 triples.  14/5/3/1/0 in 28 minutes, and the salty, tatted vet is getting his Joerger run!

DeMarcus Cousins I’m trying to figure out how the Kings stayed in this game…  I guess Rudy Gay shooting 8-13 helped, but sheesh no one had a good line…  14/12/1/0/1 with 4 TO for Boogie, and after 14+ FTA the first 3 games, only 1-3 FT last night…

Brook Lopez For as much as we’ve been slamming the Brooklyn Mess, a commenter correctly pointed out that they’re 1-2 and all of their games have ended close.  Well, no more!  Kenny Asshat continues to drive this team into the ground…  Scuttle the ship!  And wow, I’m NOT using the Urban Dictionary usage of that phrase, The Hunt for Red October is one of my favorite movies!  Well, no one is hearing singing for the Nets, and the Brolo disaster lingers on.  22 minutes of 13/2/0/0/1, but if you could find one silver lining, this was an utter blowout and maybe Brook would’ve gotten 27-28 mins in a close game.  But the way Asshat is captaining this travesty, close games might be few and far between…

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson By far leads the team with 30 minutes!!!!  Anddddddd….  2/3/3/0/1 on 1-7 shooting with 2 TO.  RHJ owners will need a nice HJ to clear their minds of overdrafting this one…

Trevor Booker I clowned Slim about watching out for Luis Scola playing more minutes some game and frustrating Booker owners, and while that wasn’t the case last night, only 19 minutes for Booker.  5/8/0/3/0 – you like the steals, but lord give me strength!

Jeremy Lin At least there’s still some Linsanity, going 14/2/4/4/0 on 6-10 shooting.  …in 24 minutes.  Some blowout effect here, but F the Asshat!

Justin Hamilton – 17 minutes of “hmmm, OK, I guess…”  0/7/0/1/1.  Other than Lin – and bending over and taking it for Brolo – there’s no must-owns on this team in even 14ers…

Sean Kilpatrick Well, I ThrAGNOF streamed him, and he goes 0-6 from downtown.  I do chuckle that his 13 shots off the bench led the team…  At least hit 7-7 FT…  Brooklyn took a small step back from the crazy % they’re shooting treys that I mentioned yesterday, but they still took 31!  5-31 from downtown last night, with every player except RHJ attempting at least one trey.  Asshat keeps making this team shoot 3s non-stop, no matter what.  Can’t wait to see them pick up the recently waived Walter Tavares or something, and have him shoot 3s!

Robin Lopez The better Lopez?!  Only plays 19 minutes, but at least gives you a 4/5/2/0/2 line.  I bet Brook is PISSED that he’s such a better player on such a worse team…

Nikola Mirotic We need an official Razzball Basketball researcher!  Anyone want to take on this role?!  I wonder when the last time both teams had their leading shooter in FGA come off the bench.  Crazy.  6-14 for Miro in a ridiculously good 16/10/3/0/3 line.  4-10 from downtown as well.  I imagine a lot of this run came against the garbage, second unit, Asshat rotations.  I’d be selling high off this game.

Isaiah Canaan Wow, surprising line of the night goes to Canaan in D, going 15/3/6/1/0 with no TO in 22 minutes.  Sadly, Michael Carter-Williams only got through 5 minutes before exiting with a knee sprain, and he’s getting an MRI today.  There’s not much value to be had with Canaan, but the deepest of deep leagues could nab him for a couple 3s/Ast upside game-to-game.  They do play back-to-back this Fri/Sat vs. NYK then @IND for some decent streaming matchups in the deepers.

Taj Gibson Finally got a block!  He’s scoring at a great FG% and getting Pts/Reb, but has been pretty anemic everywhere else.  14/11/0/1/1 on 7-9 FG works though!  Nice FG booster.

Emmanuel Mudiay When he’s slashing, he looks like a legit, above average NBA PG.  16/6/4/0/1 with only 2 TO, shooting 6-17 FG.  Not the best %, but 3-4 FT you’ll take.  83.3% from the stripe so far this year, at double the volume.  Love to see him attacking, especially with him making the freebies.  I’m thrilled I got him late in several leagues.

Will the Thrill – This literally made me sick to my stomach.  Of the games last night, this was the one I watched the most, and sadly Will Barton had a horribly painful kankle.  Took several minutes to get up and couldn’t even make it to the locker room.  X-Rays were negative, but I think this is going to be a few weeks at the least.  Wilson Chandler is already playing a ton (probably too much), and in the short-term, Jamal Murray might get a little extra run.  And this does guarantee Gary Harris is going to play a boatload of minutes when he’s healthy.

DeMar DeRozan Apparently on a mission to score 30+ every night.  Doing his normal DeRozan things, although 53.8% from the field is unsustainable for a career 44.3% shooter.  If you’re just killing the Pts cat thus far, I might entertain some sell highs, as it’s not like the rest of his line is doing much for ya.

Kyle Lowry After a slow start, nice bounce back for 29/5/7/3/0 on 10-20 shooting.

Patrick Patterson I clowned him in that intro GIF, but maybe I should be clowning the Nugs!  Pit-Pat got 5 blocks!!!!  3/7/3/1/5 with no TO in 33 minutes…  Hah.

DeMarre Carroll Pretty empty 10/2/0/0/1 line with 2 treys.  DeRozan’s USG suck is killing him.  I would likely keep holding in 12ers, but in 10ers, yeah you can Run from DMC.

T.J. Warren Gave him a lot of love on the Pod this morning, and with Devin Booker out (toe), didn’t carry over the success from his past two games, going only 15/4/1/1/0.  But only 1 TO and “only” 29 minutes in a blowout (he’s been playing a ton), I think I’m still going to float some buy lows, as crazy as that sounds for a waiver add.  I wish I had seen this coming in preseason…

Brandon Knight With no Booker, moves into the starting line-up at the 2, and was horrific.  18/0/0/0/0.  That’s hard to do in 30 minutes!  Hit a couple of treys and 4-4 FT, but it almost seems like he needs to go BACK to the bench!

Tyson Chandler Fouls out in 18 minutes.  Hey Mr. DJ, stop beating me up down low!

P.J. Tucker After being SUPER uninvolved the first 3 Suns games, gets a surprising 27 minutes last night.  7/6/0/2/0 is pretty meh, and you have to imagine Warren was filling in some SF minutes, so PJ got the extra burn as a stretch 4.  Not much to see here.

Clippers – I’m not trying to be lazy as this is the last team on the docket, there’s just literally nothing interesting to talk about.  19 points for DeAndre Jordan is pretty nice, he did DJ things…  Chris Paul did CP3 things…  You like the 12-14 FT for Blake Griffin considering he took only 7 shots…  But man, these guys are all locked into their values, and it seems like it has stayed that way for several years now.  Except, ya know, when Blake goes around punching people…

I hope everyone got off to a strong start for Week 2, and I’ll catch you on Thursday morning, Razzball Nation!

There’s that word again… I feel like a 15 year old girl when I get called that. “I’ll show you crazy!” This Nurkic thing kind of reminds me of that Jimmy Butler breakout year when Rose was the face of the organization going into the season and by the end it was Jimmy Buckets headlining the marquee, but the difference being that Butler was a bit of a surprise and Nurkic really isn’t. This is kind of what I was saying going into the year, Jokic just has the look of a roleplayer and Nurkic looks like the goto guy on both ends of the court. With that said I can’t argue that anything could happen game to game since both are so young and inexperienced. There are two numbers I want to point out, Nurk only has 7 fouls and 4 TOs through 3 games (29 min). That is a massive improvement, more assists than TOs, as many blocks as fouls. Pretty good stuff.

It’s funny reading all the stuff about how “good” of a defender Jokic was based off of “advanced metrics”, especially when they kept comparing a healthy Jokic to an injured Nurkic.

@Slim: Wait, you’re not a 15 yr old girl?! Nurkic isn’t a surprise – the 38 minutes is. Jokic not playing a ton is. Malone is slowly starting to piss me off.

      • Slim

        Slim says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Hehe that’s kind of funny. I kind of like Malone, I at least feel like the moves he makes are about his team winning games, can’t say the same for Coach Asshat. I know he’s going to give Harris big minutes so that helps too. Where’s my Juancho Malone? Don’t you need some more 3s from either forward spot? That’s asking a little too much I imagine. Faried can’t leave soon enough…

But yeah I never understood the “bringing Nurkic along slowly thing”. He’s so far removed from surgery (17-18 months) on that knee and put in a ton of work in the offseason without any setbacks.

So would you trade Nurkic for Jokic yet? What if I needed blocks?

        • TOPSZN says:
          (link)

@Slim: I have Nurkic in two leagues and would rather have Nurkic over Jokic straight up. I know it was preseason, but Nurk looked like a beast in the preseason with the extended run. If he gets more consistent minutes (and I think he will as it’s clear he impacts them on both ends of the floor), he’s gonna be a huge steal.

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Slim: @TOPSZN: Malone > Asshat no question. Ummm, are the Nugs gonna be a playoff team? Aren’t they still sellers of Faried/Gallo/Barton? That was my concern for minutes. Sure, Nurk>Joke needing Reb/Blk straight up. I only had them, what, 20 apart anyway? team needs make up that gap any time. But they’re more like, 8-10 apart now if I re-ranked, and would still go Joke in a vacuum. Got Nurk in several leagues, and I bet his ADP in RCLs was 3-4 rounds ahead of ADP in other leagues. Razzball wins, that’s all that matters 🙂

            • TOPSZN says:
              (link)

@JB Gilpin: That’s true! I picked Nurkic in two leagues. He actually fell to the 80s and I was surprised given the crazy preseason numbers. But I definitely see why some would take Jokic over Nurkic. As you said, it’s all about team needs. And yes, as long as Razzball is winning, that’s all that matters 🙂

Haha, I’d put the over/under on 14 posts about Knight – who’s more of a jester right now – before I made you lose it. Let’s see where that falls!

Knight – terrible! RoLo – terrible!. I’m calling him RoLololol *sob*. Though at least part of RoLo’s terrible was due to low minutes. (Mind you, a couple more of those and I might deem him droppable in a 12-teamer). But back to Jester. I mean Knight! W/E. Call me your royal highness because I’m un-Knighting him and bringing out the funny hat with jingly bells.

Gary Harris is available in my league on waivers (we do FAAB) and I know for a fact that another owner plans to bid on him tonight. Would you drop Knight for Harris and, if so, how much of my $100 FAAB should I bid? Last year, most winning bids in the first half were a couple of bucks. But this season we expanded to 12-teams, so I’m thinking I might need to bid at high as $20 if I want to win. A bit steep this early, but I’m also not sure many Harris type players will be available going forward.

12-team, 9-cat, league with up to 3 keepers at a “one-round higher” price.
Team: Lowry, Conley, Collison, Jester, Beal, Batum, Parsons, Millsap, Zingis, Gobert, RoLolololol.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Joe: Hahaha Rololololol. Yeah Bulls blew them out from the tip on, I’m not too worried there. But yeah, Knight can be the jester. BACK TO THE BENCH WITH YOU!

No, hold Knight still. More upside for every cat pretty much. Maybe not steals… But yeah. Rolo I’d be more apt to drop, but you need a big. Kinda shallow rosters, I dunno if Harris is really worth much of an investment in that league

      • Joe says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

Duly noted! If I wasn’t so PG heavy already I’d be asking about Sergio but alas, I cannot accommodate him, and I don’t prefer him to Collison.

@Joe: Agree with that. 10ers are always tough choices haha.

  3. Johnc says:
    (link)

I hate punting any categories in a 12 team H2H league with 9 cats. But it looks like FTs are it unless you see a creative trade here. Even if I get a Howard buyer, Adams is a problem too ( yes, my draft did not go as planned so my value picks are two bigs who can’t shoot when no one is guarding them). My team is playing well after a whopping 8 days but this does not feel like a championship mix.

Paul, RJax, Frazier, Lawson (dropping after 5 game run this week)
Leonard, Crowder, DeRo, Porter, Barnes, Hood, Delly
Howard, Adams, Poison Goose, M Turner,
    Thoughts?
    1. DeAndre owner not thrilled so I might be able to get him for Crowder or DeRo which would solidify blocks and rebounds. ??
    2. Or go the other way and sell Howard low as my league hates him LOL.
    3. Waiver wire is thin. Given my team, who is the best pickup when I drop Lawson? (, G Harris, Zaza, C Zeller, Baldwin, Stephenson, Thabo, Grant, Kaminski)

    • Jensen says:
      (link)

@Johnc: If you can get DeAndre for DeRozan I would 100% make that trade and go punt FT. Your scoring might need some help until Reggie is back but that is a huge upgrade in overall value. Add Gary Harris ASAP.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Johnc: @Jensen: 1. Agree, def would take Jordan. Looks like your points drop can handle it, especially when RJax is back. 2. Nah might as well hold him if you’re punt FT, plus your TO rate is pretty good. You can handle that issue of his game. 3. Jerami Grant? You won’t really need his blocks, but I still like him a lot. Probably taking Harris though for the steals, although I guess I am pretty low on him based on Slim/commneters suggestions

  4. Joe says:
    (link)

    Side note:

The difference between a 10-team and a 12-team is so huge. In a 12-team, you’re basically one injury away from scraping the bottom of the barrel and buying a free agent lottery pick because that wire is picked clean.

    • Jensen says:
      (link)

@Joe: Try 20 teams, your 12er will feel so safe then.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Jensen: @Joe: In the REL, 20 team, 17 player (+1 IL) roster there are still guys on the FA list I wish I could fit on my team, like I had a backup $0 bid for James Ennis week 1 (I got Justin Holiday instead) and last week he was added for $32, I bid $8 with dropping an excess big (Nene), if only I did that week 1. You hit it on the head though with the difference between shallow leagues and deeper leagues, in deeper leagues you can’t wait for a guy to play well or you have little to no chance of getting him, but I find that fits my playstyle better than a shallow league.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:

@Joe: @Jensen: @Slim: I don’t really have issues in 12ers, I find lots of stream guys on moderate-heavy schedule nights. Yeah 20ers are where it’s at! Slim loves to hoard his younguns, 20er dynasty was build for him

    4 years – 102Mil for Adams.
    4 years – 64Mil for Dieng
    explain that one JB.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Jensen: The thing that sticks out the most to me is age, Gorgui is 26 (27 in Jan) and Adams is 23 (24 in July). I’m not saying that isn’t a great value for Gorgui’s age 27 1/2-30 1/2 years but I don’t consider those years to be a players prime (unless they are hitting a fastball). Adams is signed from 24-27, for my money that’s an NBA players prime. Yes that is an overpay for Adams but with the way centers are being paid nowadays it’s hard to call it a waste.

      • Jensen says:
        (link)

@Slim: I think its more an underpay for Dieng than an overpay for Adams. Like you said, you gets Adam’s prime so it’s a little bit of a gamble that he still has some growth left. Dieng took the same deal Ian Mahinmi got! He sold himself well short there.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Slim: @Jensen: Yeah age is all I got too, although isn’t Mahinmi like 28 and got the same deal?! Crazy. Dieng must think he fits in Minny and might falter elsewhere. Hah Jensen said the same. Yeah its Mozgov money too. Crazy. I got nothing. Minnesota hit a home run there (so many baseball terms this thread!)

          • Dusty says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: Cost of living is higher in New Zealand, Adams has to put food on the table.

Hi JB, what are your thoughts on moving Gibson and Justise for Hood and Marvin WIlliams in a standard 9 cat deep 20 team league?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Peaniece: Hmmmmm. gibson is a little injury prone, but so is Hood. If you need scoring/3s I think I’d do it, but otherwise I’m likely holding

      • Peaniece says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: So just purely value wise, is this a lost trade? Just how valuable is taj gibson right now? Is his performance unsustainable because hes never averaged this much pts and boards? Is this a sell high moment or is he good for keeping? If I must sell him, who are players that has relatively close value to what he has now (in a 1 for 1 trade). Also, what are your thoguhts on justise? He is averageing 1 steal, 1 block, 6.3 rebs, 3.7 assists, 14.3 pts. Are these monstrous stats sustainable? He also has been trying so hard to shoot 3’s, will he get at least 1 per game this season you reckon? Sorry for asking questions in a 10-combo package XD. Thanks in advance!!

        • Peaniece says:
          (link)

@Peaniece: Oh and another follow up question 😀 Dion waiters was just dropped in my league! The bottom of my team consists of kilpatrick, dudley, rozier, and a streaming spot (currently ben mclemore). Is it worth burning my 5th out of 20 waiver claim for him? If I do, who for? Do I lose the streaming spot for waiters? Also speaking about dudley hes currently a disappointment considering the early inflation we all expected from him (which would result in a sell high). Is he going to be better than this you reckon? Alright… hopefully that was the last of my questions!! Sorry… and JB, I know you so well that I’m sure you’ll prob rush through comments and wouldnt answer all of them so to follow up, I’d probs retype the questions you havent answered 😛 😛

          • Peaniece says:
            (link)

@Peaniece: Goddamn… I keep coming up with stuff to ask!! Come to think of it, in my 20 team league, besides waiters, waivers has people like snell, kelly oubre, dwight powell, beasley. Are any of them worth over the bottom of my team (mentioned in previous comment)?

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:
              (link)

@Peaniece: Haha, no not lost at all, it’s really close for both sides. I just really liked Justise and don’t think he’s a sell high. Actually yeah, I think it’s pretty sustainable! He was diming some in preseason, we know the D stat potential is there… taj will come down a little, but is fine for now…

Haha I got ya! Let’s see… Yeah, I think in a 20er you nab Waiters even with the waiver, might not even get him anyway. Dudley has been really annoying and the Suns look atrocious. If he has a few good games and they keep losing, def would sell high. He should be a little better though.

Hmmmm, I think still Waiters #1 on that list. Annoying to see Powell not get a lot of run even when Dirk is missing games. If his run started amping up, he might be an add, but not right now

              • Peaniece says:
                (link)

@JB Gilpin: I guess my move would only be getting waiters (probs for my streaming spot) then stay put on everything else (unless I misunderstood something?)
If so, then thanks a lot!!! The thing is I dont really care about needs and wins at this point. IMO, it’s all about getting best value to trade and prepare for fantasy playoffs because standing hardly matters provided you make fantasy playoffs (which is relatively easy). This strat was proven to work as I won it all last year ^_^ with only the 5th best overall standing (out of 16)!! With massive thanks to you ofc!

                • JB Gilpin

                  JB Gilpin says:
                  (link)

@Peaniece: Yup I think so! How many make the playoffs in your 20er? In REL, it’s tough, only 6 make it. So it’s like only 3 teams making it in a standard 10er. Glad we helped man! Yeah I don’t see any of those guys you mentioned on the wire as upside-y stashes. Oubre maybe a little, but needs Porter hurt

  7. Tyler says:
    (link)

Hey man. Looking to trade for dwight and straight up punt FTs. Owner is open to give him up. Who do you think I should give him that would work? 2for2 might also be possible since he has Warren.

    Heres my team
    Lowry,Dragic,Hood,G.Harris,Sergio,Lawson
    Giannis,Gay,Carroll,Roberson
    Gobert, Nurkic, Capela
    IL-Hayward,Tyreke

    Other team
    Harden,McCollum,Russell,Frazier,Waiters,Delly
    Carmelo,Crowder,Warren
    Howard,Valanciunas,Embiid,Hibbert

    Hayward+Lawson for Howard+Warren?
    Gay+Hood for Howard+Warren?

Giving away low FG guys so I can make sure I win FG consistently. I’m looking to be dominant in FG, reb, ast, stl, blk, to and decent in other stats while punting Ft.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Tyler: Yup, that would have to be the team strategy! Def like punting FT. Ugghhhhh, I dunno if I love either of those offers. More apt to do the Gay one. meh actually, given your team build, I’m OK with the Gay one, but I wouldn’t be selling Hayward that low

      • Tyler says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:
Do you see any other trade packages that would be better? Or should i just stick with my team?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Tyler: Hmmmm, yeah Gay makes the most sense to trade. Maybe see if you can do Gay for Howard+Frazier? Might be asking for a lot, but Dwight doesn’t fit his team…

  8. Zinger says:
    (link)

    12er 9cat H2H
Dropped Tyson for Wilson, the Chandler swap, Barton out may give him a few more shots (play on Thur/Sat/Sun and the mins are there). I know Taj is boring but based on his recent performances I don’t think I can drop him just yet.
Depending on how Noah do tonight, I may plan on streaming his spot for Zaza who plays Thur/Fri, then switch to another stream for Sat/Sun (DEN/MIL/SAC). Good idea or no?

My team now: Harden, Porzingis, Kemba, Horford, Dipo, G Hill, Hood, DeMarre (rly want to drop), Gibson, Noah, Wilson, Ish

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Zinger: Cool, I’m good with that move! Sure, yeah you have plenty of dimes, and Zaza will help get boards too, I’m good with that stream

      • Zinger says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Thanks as always man! Another quick question for tomorrow. If you had to start 3 out of the 4: DeMarre, Ish, Gibson, Noah who would you leave out? Or would you drop Noah tonight?

      • Zinger says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Also off of this, I offered G Hill and Hood for Brolo and Jabari, low enough?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Zinger: Yeah likely benching Noah in a vacuum due to % killing and TO of that group, unless you needed to target Reb/blk. I still would like to see him tonight before dropping him, if he looks better/more minutes again, you may wanna hold off on streaming zaza anyway. Youd on’t need Hood’s 3s and your PG depth is good, yeah I think that’s a good offer. I would take that, nice panicky offer from the Brolo owner

          • Zinger says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: Scratch that streaming plan, dropped Noah for Grant, should be a fun one.

              • Zinger says:
                (link)

@JB Gilpin: Oh god, that shot was so ugly.
btw, without my Noah my ast still okay for the hill/hood for brolo/parker trade?

                • JB Gilpin

                  JB Gilpin says:
                  (link)

@Zinger: Yeah I think so, not like Hill is a huge dimer, especially when Hayward is back. Ish on the bottom of your bench helps, so when RJax is back, maybe you hunt for some dimes

  9. Tyler says:
    (link)

Should I try and trade Hayward for Parsons?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Tyler: Man that’s close! When right, I think Parsons will have more upside. Hayward “only” broke a finger though, vs. multiple knee surgeries. If you are starting really strong and wanna take a risk, I would actually do it, although I bet 95% of commenters/experts would scoff at that suggestion

  10. TOPSZN says:
    (link)

Loved the trailer for Ed, JB haha! This reminds me of two years ago (or was it last year) when you linked “Shaniqua Don’t Live Here No More.” That was my first and last time hearing that song, until it came to my head when I was watching the Ed trailer lmao. Random comment but I appreciate your sense of humour kind sir!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@TOPSZN: Hah appreciate it! I just was double checking I had the right movie, and just couldn’t stop laughing. “Is Shaniqua there?! Hell no!”

      • TOPSZN says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Hahaha definitely gonna have to add Ed to my watchlist! And Shaniqua to my iTunes hahaha.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@TOPSZN: Oh god, hopefully its just so painfully bad, it makes the movie funny!

  11. JG says:
    (link)

My FT Punt team (12er/9cat/h2h) is a bit too stacked on big men and I’m exploring trade options.

PG: Lowry, Schroder, E. Payton, Mudiay
    SG: G. Hill, M. Barnes
    SF: Parsons, Kidd-Gilchrist
    PF: Drummond, Capela, JaMychal Green
    C: Whiteside, DeAndre Jordan
    IL: Tyreke Evans

What do you think abouta Whiteside & a PG (Payton/Mudiay) swap for D. Howard and John Wall? From there maybe trying to move G. Hill for a scoring guy (i.e. wiggins).

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@JG: Ehhhhh, I really like Payton and Mudiay is coming along. Although, yeah, you’re punt FT. I’d do the Mudiay one, but it’s close for me

      • JG says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Thank ya sir. I’m hesitant myself so I’ll probably let it ride for a few weeks, but thinking a trade is needed at somepoint to strengthen up non big stats a bit.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@JG: Yeah I mean Schroder and Payton have started a little slow in dimes, but I think they pick it up. Given you’re not “dominant” at G, I think you’re pretty good there actually!

  12. hisXLNZ says:
    (link)

Razzuuuuuup! how is a d.rose/taj gibson trade for dirk/noah sound? Which 2 fits the team I have down belowr in a 14 Team-9CAT League:

    C – Whiteside/Nurkic
    SF/PF – Gay/Marcus M.
    SG/SF – Bazemore/T.Allen
    PG/SG -G.Hill/D.Wade/Crabbe
    PG – Lowry/D.Russ

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@hisXLNZ: Razzup man?! Mannnn that’s close. Def could use the scoring. Rose TO hurt, but Noah does that too. Could use a few more boards. I’ll go Dirk side, but it’s very very close

  13. Jeremy says:
    (link)

Someone offered me melo for derozan straight up, what you think? It’s a ftm league, so derozan has alot of value in ftms

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Jeremy: interesting… Format does help DeRozan, but Melo is no slouch in FTM either. I think I’ll stick with DeRozan for the FT

      • Jeremy says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

        Thanks, I’ll stick with derozan.

        Can you please advice on
Justin Hamilton or Muscala rest of season?and Next 30 days?
16 men league so looking to pick up 1 of them

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Jeremy: Cool. Ummm, gimme Hamilton I think., both short and long term. Might get a huge boost if they deal Brolo at deadlin

  14. Bonzie says:
    (link)

I am in an 11 Cat (FTM & FGM), 12 team League. My team is:
    GUARDS
    Bledsoe
    Lowry
    Monta
    Delly
    TyLawson
    Jrue

    WINGS
    Beal
    Wes Mathews
    Justus Winslow
    Josh Rich
    Wilson Chandler

    BIGS
    KAT
    Ding
    Nurk
    Mason Plumlee
    Muscala

My question is, should I trade Bledsoe to get Jokic? Is that too much or not enough? If not Bledsoe, who should I counter with? Will that leave me too light at PG with Jrue still out?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Bonzie: I think it’s too much. Yeah I think one more big would help, but Jokic is going to be rough game to game.

I’d be fine trying like a Monta + Beal or something. 3s would stay fine, your scoring stays strong. I wouldn’t want to cut into your AST too much. Hope that helps!

  15. ReverseDunk says:
    (link)

I know it’s apples and oranges, but do I drop Jmyke Green for Korver? G Harris is avail too, but I already have CParsons stashed. Thoughts? Thanks

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@ReverseDunk: Yeah that one is hard, I think in a vacuum I would take Korver, but close

  16. Eazy E says:
    (link)

Hey JB! Sup? Would you drop Marcus M, Cody Z or M Barnes for the new J-Rich? Also, hope to get your expert opinion on when would be the best time to pick him up from the wire, if ever. I play in a league where managers pull the trigger quickly after the slightest clue of returns. Thanks as always, man!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Eazy E: Not much man, sup widchu?! Sure if your big man stats are fine, no issue losing Zeller. Very blah. Or Barnes, but I kinda like Barnes for 4 more games this week. I imagine a big update will be coming at some point this week, so if you don’t have other injuries and can afford to stash, i would go ahead

      • Eazy E says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: thanks buddy! Big man stats are perfectly fine. I’ve got hassan, drummond and dj. Cody was just to dominate there. I got jerami for cody. I lost the first week badly 2-7, although it could’ve easily gone 7-2 with just a little luck. I’m looking to improve my 3s and stl now. Should I drop barnes to stash j-rich now? What’s your take on saric?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Eazy E: Nice, like that Jerami add! Sure, I’d be good stashing J Rich as long as you think you won’t need to stream again over the weekend. Still not big on Saric, but didn’t watch game last night

          • Eazy E says:
            (link)

            @JB Gilpin: great! Thanks, JB!

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:
              (link)

              @Eazy E: Any time!

  17. Keak Da Sneak says:
    (link)

Drop Gary Harris or Jrue Holiday for Evan Turner, Robert Covington, or Matt Barnes?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Keak Da Sneak: Yeah I would probably take the shot on Covington over Harris

  18. MJC says:
    (link)

Skiiiiiiiles! AaaaaasssssssHat!!!!! As long as ol’ asshat doesn’t jerk Linsane in the brain around I’m fine. Also is Big Al whoreford going to get 30+ minutes!!?! Do you guys expect him to get it going a bit more since I just got him and KD for that brow & blake trade. For some reason jockitch is just not as sexy as Jamba Jus. Probly the price tag that came along with joker, hopefully he gives his owners just a mild case of jock itch and not full blown crabs.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@MJC: Hah, so many bad coaches in the NBA! Horford hasn’t been bad! And KD is bossin’ for ya. Horford just isn’t getting REB, rest is fine, and the past 2 have been 30+ mins! Hah if Allen Crabbe gets drafted too high next year, Ima use that. “Getting a case of the Crabbes”

  19. Kris says:
    (link)

    Hi

Desperate owner trying to sell me Brook Lopez, got offered Brook Lopez for my Eric Gordon and Wilson Chandler. Im a bit worried about what will happen when Gary Harris/Darell Arthur and Pat Beverly return, so I am considering. 20 Deep league H2H with o rebs.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Kris: Whoa, yeah you’re taking that in a heartbeat, especially a league with an added REB cat 🙂

      • Kris says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Thanks, I just love the Lopez bros, thought I was getting a bit over exited 😀

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Kris: Hah yeah now is the time to buy Brook!

  20. Dusty says:
    (link)

On a FT punt team that could use a bit of small ball stats help, is Mudiay worth picking up for Faried, M Barnes, Danny Green, or Mason Plumlee? He really counters the low TO high FG of the strategy, my head says more harm than good with little beyond fringe assists already on the team, but hoping for another opinion. Thanks for anyone’s input.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Dusty: Yes, yes, yes and yes 🙂 Surprised he’s avail. I know he doesn’t fit roster construction great, but he looked good last night, should get more touches with no Barton, and hopefully you can ride it out a few weeks then flip when hot

  21. Wen says:
    (link)

Hi JB and Slim, got a trade question and need your advice. I proposed a trade for Gorgui Dieng and that person countered offer Gorgui Dieng for my Brook Lopez + Gordon Hayward. Would you take it? Or should I ask for Gorgui Dieng + T.J. Warren ? Thanks for the help.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Wen: I love me some Dieng, but I don’t think I’m taking either offer. It’s mostly due to Hayward, who I wouldn’t want to flip at that price, I expect him to be fine when he’s back on the court. Any time!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Joe: Yeah that’s interesting, he gets battered around and yeah, I can’t recall a roughing penalty, that’s insane. Very double standard

  22. Spring Blake says:
    (link)

    Hey JB,

Was floated the offer of Matt Barnes for Tim Frazier, would you take it. I really only have covington in the way of SF (Although I have lots of PF), but my PG is weak too with Lin, Frazier, Delle, Exum, Lawson.

Best FA PG is barea, and sf is ennis.

I know you liked both going into the draft, worth ti to grab Barnes at that price?

    Thanks again for the advice!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Spring Blake: Def holding Frazier. I know I ranked Barnes higher, but perils of ranking is trying to weigh what you know going into the season (Frazier starting out of the gate) vs. whole season (I think Barnes will maintain) So yeah, I would hold, Frazier is looking pretty good. Any time!

      • Spring Blake says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Word that was my gut, but didn’t wan tto miss an opportunity to shore up SF. Thanks JB!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Spring Blake: Sure thing, any time!

  23. Help! says:
    (link)

JB and Slim thanks for the advice as always!

I only care about later in the year upside on this one. I need blocks and boards so looking at picking up Dedmon.

Would you drop J Richardson, Smart or Dunn for him?

    • Help! says:
      (link)

@Help!: Jerami Grant avail too he should get tons of minutes in OKC

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Help!: Whoaaaaa, what a steal for OKC! Yeah gimme Grant for the BLK. Probably Smart i’d think, given needs?

  24. Jake says:
    (link)

How many minutes do you think Jerami Grant will get in OKC?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Jake: 25ish? Hopefully can play some SF and PF? Might take Domantas’s starting spot, that could happen too

      • Jake says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Would you drop any of the following for him?

Frazier, Josh Richardson, Warren (obviously not), Delly?

Ugh my team is deep…no fun waiver adds for me

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Jake: Uggghhh yeah that’s tough. I might gamble and go him over J Rich, just to see what happens while J Rich is hurt and doing nothing for you

          • Big Baby's Lovechild says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: Jerami Grant has wound up in a way better situation for consistent minutes now. Pretty free run at the 3 or 4 in the second unit, and only Roberson and Sabonis ahead of him in the starting lineup.

Even if Rusty, Dipo and Kanter are going to soak up a lot of shots, Grant will have massive opportunity for other stats to give him a lot of value. It may even help his value as it limits his impact on your %’s. I grabbed him immediately in the 1 league I could.

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:
              (link)

@Jake: @Big Baby’s Lovechild: Totally agree. Might start over Sabonis. Is such a better player. Grant was a breakout for me heading into the season, and now joins a better team with an opportunity, very exciting!

  25. Jimmy says:
    (link)

Will there still be RazzWired posts? thanks!

  26. JG

    JG says:
    (link)

Grant could get some nice defensive stats esp if they play him a lot with Mr. “I got Hakeem’s footwork–but D ain’t in my vocab” Kanter

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@JG: Hah poor Kanter… Yeah I really like his fit there

  27. Doctor G says:
    (link)

Wudup Razzballers!! Anyone here dropping Tyson Chandler for Jerami Grant?? I had/have a need for another big to get me some boards/blocks/FG%, and Big C was all I could scrape up from the bottom of the barrel. Is it worth gambling on Grant just to see what kind of role he has and for season long upside, or would I be better off holding Tyson? Thanks in advance fellas!

    • Jake says:
      (link)

      @Doctor G:
I probably would. I dont trust that Tyson will stay healthy or be this consistent on a per night basis.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Doctor G: @Jake: What’s good man?! Yeah I would do that move. More blocks, and not really dropping any sort of upside with Chandler haha. All you lose is a little REB

  28. Nate says:
    (link)

    Drop Bazemore for TJ Warren?

    • Zinger says:
      (link)

@Nate: I’ll answer this one for JB, YES YES YES

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Nate: @Zinger: Hah yeah yes from me too 🙂

  29. miles proudfoot says:
    (link)

What do you think about striking while the irons hot and offer TJ Warren and Booker (brooklyn) for Parsons? Is this a massive lowball offer? Parsons was actually only drafted at 100 and doesn’t seem to be thought of highly. Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@miles proudfoot: Yeah the hate on Parsons was unreal! I am def good with that offer hope he takes it!

  30. John says:
    (link)

Grant over Porter or Hood? Or hold in 12 team league

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@John: Mannnn that’s tough. Probably holding. Are those two really your last 2 guys?

      • Johnc says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin
: I have Barnes too but am waiting out the Gay trade

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Johnc: If you need blocks I would swap Barnes out for Grant. I’m excited for a Gay trade too, but in a 12er, its a longggg time to hold a fringey asset

  31. Tyler says:
    (link)

    Drop roberson for grant?
Robersons been getting 30+ mins and good fg rebs stocks.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Tyler: Yeah I would make that move, not buying this many steals, the blocks, or the REB for sure

  32. J says:
    (link)

    Hey JB,

    10 Teamer.

    Paul, Kemba, Frazier
    Booker, Matthews, Bazemore
    Crowder, Covington
    Dieng
    Whiteside, Brook, Nurkic, Gortat
    Jrue -IL

Which 2 do like out of Bazemore, Covington, KCP, Bojan and JR Smith?

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@J: Hmmmm, so these are adds? Throwing out Bojan. Mannnn Covington has started rough. I’ll take Baze and KCP, although I know Baze has been iffy. Maybe steam Baze’s spot rather than add and hold

  33. marimon says:
    (link)

Thoughts on Jerami Grant trade? thx

Also, would you drop danny green or capela for jerami? barnes available too. thx

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@marimon: Sure, well either of those guys has more long-term. I’ll take Dunn I guess. Liked Grant a lot coming into the year, def good losing Green for him

  34. Aaron says:
    (link)

Should I trade George hill for Jeff teague ?? I have george hill and he’s doing extremely well do I’m not sure if it’s worth buying low for Jeff

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Aaron: Oh yeah, I’d do that one! Hayward should eat int Hill’s USG a little bit when back

  35. Threekola says:
    (link)

Hey boys. Got a few possible trades I can do. How do you guys like em?

    1) MY Draymond + Pau for HIS Millsap + Val

    – He offered this to me. Clearly trynna take Pau low. Paus minutes have been going up lately, I think he’ll get around 27-28 minutes this season. And, even including the first two complete duds, he’s averaging 9-7-3 and 1.2 blocks in 24 minutes. Better than I thought given this dreadful start. Also, Draymond is amazing. Probably like him over Millsap now that we see KD is affecting Draymond much. Dray is at 10-11-7-2.5-1.5 so far and thats on 39% fg which will go way up. Looking like the Draymond that was ranked over Millsap before the KD signing.

    2) MY Draymond + Pau + Capela for HIS Millsap + Val + Embiid

    – This is clearly better than #1, but just wanted to know if you’d take #1 incase he doesn’t accept this counter offer. Pretty much just added Embiid on his side for my Capela. Not sure if I wanna do this 100% still though. It definitely is better than #1, however.

    3) My Pau for HIS Nurkic.

-This one I think is just selling myself short and being nooby by giving up Pau at his low point, but Nurkic has been so good. The only reason I can tell myself to not take this trade is losing ft% and assists. However, Nurk won’t get rested, will grab more boards and block more shots. Plus, I’m okay on assists so I don’t need Pau’s too much anyway. STILL though, I think Pau’s value will go higher than what it is now after a few more games. Thinking I should probably hold on this one. What do you guys think?

Thanks guys, your opinions are always greatly valued and appreciated by me.

    – Ya boy threekola

    Whacha guys think?

@Threekola: 1. Hmmmmmm that’s close. Both guys are about even for their trade counterparts. I think you take it though, because Dray and Pau (we’ve already seen) are DNP risks. 2 – Yeah that’s better, def doing that one. 3. Mannnnn. Gun to my head I prob want Nurk too, that’s crazy. I would push for trade #2 tho. Any time man!

Dunn looked really good. I know Rubio is a solid defender but he’s no Kris Dunn, those 2 3s add a wrinkle that Rubio just can’t do. I’m sure people go under the screen on Rubio all the time but Dunn looks like he can make you pay for it. The stepback 3 when the big switched on him was nasty, I didn’t know he had that in his game. He is so long too, he gives me a bit of that Westbrook vibe, the fastest guy on the court, big and strong, finishes well at the rim, and from what I saw looked completely at ease being in control of the offense. He isn’t as aggressive looking for his own shot as Westbrook is, I’m not comparing him to Westbrook now. I mean Westbrook as a rookie and 2nd year player when was putting up 13-14 shots per game (Dunn is older…) But I’m starting to think that’s the career path Dunn looks to be on.

@Slim: Haha I knew that comment would poke the bear. Yes he looks good. I liked him through Summer League after being iffy with his draft stock. Great size. Watched maybe a quarter worth as LaVine was killing it. Still the FT/TO issues remain though…

@Slim: Should we be concerned that Rubio is going to lose his starting job or this becomes a timeshare at PG for Rubio and Dunn?

Reminds me of when David Lee got hurt and lost his job/respect of any kind to Draymond

@Jake: Hehe DLee… I think it’s become obvious to everyone that Dunn is Minnys PG of the future, and the future is now. I don’t know what happens with Rubio but I’m getting a little scared he’s going to follow MCWs career path, the shooting just hasn’t come around and I don’t think anyone believes it will anymore. A starting PG that can’t make people pay for going under screens isn’t a starting PG on a winning team.

      • Slim

        Slim says:

@JB Gilpin: I’m sure you saw the stat line. 29 min of 2/10/4/6/5/0, 3 TOs, 3/7 FGs. If it wasn’t a blowout then he gets those last 7 minutes too. I know Thibbs said 20 games before Dunn is the starter and we assumed he meant LaVine as a 6th man, but damn, I’m starting to think Rubio’s spot is more in danger. Dunn made that team go last night. I bet they made a few extra phone calls this morning trying to find a taker for Rubio. It’s not often you see a PG (although Dunn is 22 years old) this good this fast. Lillard was in a similar place as a rookie although the stats are going to comp closer to Westbrooks rookie season, although Dunn is a better shooter than Westy as a rook. And yes, I can not believe I got him for only $35 in REL, I had him at $48! His high end steals are going to be perfect next to Lillard and Reggie. So yes he fits my squad to a tee, but that doesn’t effect how amazing he looked. It’s ok, you’ll come around eventually. I know how much you hate to admit it when I hit on someone in the REL but we should all be used to it by now.

@Slim: Perils of no money… Getting Westbrook is obviously looking worth it for me. I said during the draft i liked that buy of Dunn too! I blame the other 18… What did I say that made it sound like I’m not coming around?! If he starts, he’s right there in that PG run! Elfrid, Teague, etc. Loved that deal, liked the Goose deal. The big one was how well the Nurk buy worked out. That was great foresight. Less everyone else clamming up their wallets

@JB Gilpin: Me and my brother were talking Nurkic a ton leading up to the draft and I wound up getting bid up to $16 by I think Mr.Green. My brother told me later that he missed out because he had to go to the bathroom. Yeah, since then I make sure to pee before the REL draft begins.

I just want to make sure people didn’t think you didn’t like Dunn. Westbrook for Melo, Knight, Capela? $59 (Westy) vs $56. I imagine Adam is happy with his depth so far too, plus a little upside. I’m against Melo’s 4 steals. Dang it.

Dunn didn’t have the look of an obsessively high TO guy and man those passes he was making looked crisp. He won’t be asked to solely run the offense either. The USG should be low enough (this year) to keep the FT volume and TOs somewhat down. He’ll eventually be at least an avg FT shooter. Westbrook was a .685 carrer FT shooter in his 2 years of college, DeRozan was .646, Dunn will be fine there in a dynasty.

              JB Gilpin says:

@Slim: Yeah I remember that. In the initial draft, I moved computers since I was at my office, and in that interim, I autobid $8 on Andrew Bynum. Imagine what that could’ve bought! Although i was able to trade him for Aldridge so that helped.

I def like Dunn, I was just being a troll 🙂 Good point on the TO, not like he has to drive the offense like in college. Lots of LaVine/Wiggins shooting.

Melo at $40 was a non-keeper. Knight is just not fitting the Suns. Capela starting slow and I didn’t wanna FT punt. I’m liking it more every game. God I miss Knight on the Bucks. That buy and Kawhi in initial draft were my highlights

                  Budget $200
                  1. (28) Kawhi Leonard (SA – SG,SF) $37
                  2. (29) Serge Ibaka (Orl – PF,C) $40
                  3. (49) Andrew Bynum (Ind – C) $8
                  4. (78) Jeff Green (Orl – SG,SF,PF) $27
                  5. (94) Brandon Knight (Pho – PG,SG) $15
                  6. (95) Raymond Felton (LAC – PG,SG) $14
                  7. (103) Wilson Chandler (Den – SG,SF) $11
                  8. (128) Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Det – SG) $12
                  9. (149) Corey Brewer (Hou – SG,SF) $9
                  10. (182) Greg Stiemsma (Por – C) $3
                  11. (222) Omri Casspi (Sac – SF) $3
                  12. (226) Archie Goodwin (Pho – SG) $6
                  13. (232) Thomas Robinson (LAL – PF) $8
                  14. (261) Will Barton (Den – SG) $1
                  15. (272) Antawn Jamison (Atl – PF) $2
                  16. (280) Greg Smith (Min – PF,C) $1
                  17. (288) Toney Douglas (Cle – PG,SG) $2
                  Unused $1

KCP addiction! I remember really like Green going into that year. Knight was a huge buy. Damn, wish I had held Barton… I remember tagging highlights when he had a breakout game for the Blazers his rookie year, can’t remember which one, but he gave a good taste that year. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/5074/gamelog/?season=2012_2

Hah Bynum… Yeah didn’t draft PG well at all. Archie made another cameo down the road, as did Felton haha. KCP and Kawhi, home run wings!

    JB and Slim,

Please impart unto me your infinite fantasy wisdom, someone in my 12er dropped rubio after the out for indefinitely business. Having a tough time deciding my drop here already with Rjax, Parsons and Josh Richardson…

Barnes, Saric (playing well since Grant trade), Ish, Bazemore, or Mudiay? Or is Rubio not worth it since the injury and possible Dunn takeover?

How do you like or rank these trades? Gay’s been ballin though and has a chance to return top 40 value all year long.

Gay + Hood for Warren + Howard
    Gay for Drummond
    Gay + Hood for Drummond + A.Gordon
    Gay + Carroll for Drummond + A.Gordon

    Heres my team
    Lowry,Dragic,Hood,G.Harris,Sergio,Lawson

    Gobert, Nurkic, Capela
    IL-Hayward,Tyreke

    Giannis,Gay,Carroll,Roberson

Should I also try and trade for Deandre?
Or should I focus on Drummond only?

Also since you said yes to the Gay for Drummond deal, would you also agree to Hayward for Drummond or Hayward for Deandre swap?

      • JB Gilpin

@Tyler: I like the Gay deal a lot better, but yeah, I would be fine with Hayward for either FT punt big as well. You don’t “have” to go FT punt, but it makes sense since you’re iffy right now. Cool, yeah if you do that deal with hayward for either, you can drop Roberson for Jrich, stash Jrich, then add Green! Get em both!
