“If you have everything under control, you’re not moving fast enough.” (Mario Andretti)
We’re now in Week Four, but the speed of the events has been surprisingly rapid. Without counting injuries, this may be a great opportunity to buy low or sell high.
DeMarcus Cousins with 2.4 3pts, 1.9 stl, 1.9 blk, 28.6 points, and 13.7 rebounds is an incredible line, but perhaps unsustainable. More incredible are the Stranger Things in FT so far this season. Andre Drummond shooting 75% and Clint Capela 78% from the line. Nobody would’ve believed that in August.
Kristaps Porzingis is now a first-round player, a position that he looks ready to maintain for the remainder of the year, and the key to our team of the week. Through nine games he is averaging 30.2 points, 1.7 threes, 7.8 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and strong 82.6% in FT.
On the other side, Jimmy Butler is a great buy low candidate, as his owners are probably impatient right now. Butler said he’s focusing on winning, not his own statistics, and Thibodeau said the scoring will come as he gets more comfortable with the team. Other players on the buy low side are Kyle Lowry, Eric Bledsoe, Paul Millsap and Gorgui Dieng.
And now the highlights from Week 3 in the RCLs:

Experts League: Tarch Tadness with a great victory takes the lead. So far, we have five teams within 0.5 points of each other.
Straight Cash Homie: Another win for Pikachu, but we will see a fierce battle in this league. I think there is a nervous player, who is making a ton of moves on the waiver wire, sometimes with the same player. There were some interesting moves, as SCH1-Celestial Being added Kyle Kuzma while Team Giant added Frank Ntilikina. I like both moves.
Straight Cash Homie 2: Cronos Black Metal with a solid win (6-3) and Slack-Jawed Daps (6-3), both are now at the top.
Straight Cash Homie 3: One of the greats wins of the week, as Klark Shark crushed the opposition (8-1) and is now the leader.
Straight Cash Homie 4: This is the league of inequities, as five teams have seven wins while five have only two.
Straight Cash Homie 6: My team, TonyRP 4, is now the leader, but I have a tough battle this week, as I battle with RJC’s Team, one of the stronger teams out there. I’m very proud of one of my new acquisitions, Josh Richardson, as he is one of five NBA players with at least 1.5 3pts, one blkm and one steal (the others are L.James, C.Anthony, Danny Green and D.Cousins).
Italy vs Razzball: Our team of the week jumps to the 4th place and Theo’s Terrific Team is now the new leader.
No Punt Intended: Stuck in Saigon 1 is now number one. Yeah! Special mention to Vandelay Industries, with two interesting additions in Donavan Mitchell and Courtney Lee.
Dynasty Deep Dive: I had a hard match with my peer Craig’s Crazy Team (4-4), but Big Baller Brand with 6-3 in a big win is now at the top.
