@Paul: Nice! triple double is nearly a lock for him these days too haha

9 cat h2h. Team is Wall, Teague, A.Bradley, G. Harris, Redick, Duchess, Batum, Durant, Zingis, Gobert, Gortat

Hey JB! Would you drop A.Bradley, or anyone else, for one of the following? Bradley should be doing better with Crowder out but meh, and Gobert and Zingis are just killing my big stats. Not sure if I should get another big or just maximize my guard stats with a guy like Collison.

D.Collison, Beasley, Otto Porter, Jamychal Green, Bogut, Mahimi

@Joe: Yo! Mannnn Bradley looks good when he gets touches… I’m only debating between 2 – Colly and Porter. I don’t think you can “rely” on him, but POrter w 2 blocks in each of the past 2, I would nab him

You didn’t you “You’re a dirty pirate hooker” as the podcast title? This quality of this show is really going down hill.

@Jensen: That typing tho. Excuse the typos.

@Jensen: Hah well after i edit it, i listen to a minute or two to pick the title, i obviously didn’t re-listen to that part.

        KNOW TIPOS ALOUD!

Yeah, have to be honest, still enjoyed the pod but probably the worst one so far this year. Is a pod wall a thing??

Gimme Lowry to put up 30 this evening

@The Gintern: Serious or because our Myles Turner talk?

We’ve got baseball going on so maybe we rushed

  6. Ryan says:

Johnny Wallburger for a 40 burgerer against the 76erers. Gotta make up ground against slim somehow so I want 2 points if it happens lol.

@Ryan: Hah that’s a good call! Well, you gotta get 60 pts for the double!

    • Ryan says:
      (link)

@Ryan: Woah. UNC Wilmington???????? That’s your team JB, right? Well, at least my bracket isn’t too screwed up if Duke loses, but it’d definitely be a bracket buster for most people.

@Ryan: Yessir! Where I went to college. No tourney appearances while I was there… Ugh. I almost picked them, it’s actually a good matchup since UNCW lacks good post play as well, but was worried Ingram could take over, which he has at a few moments. Lets go dubs!

what do you think of Isaiah Canaan? 3’s look to be very important in this playoff matchup, although it extends another week after this one so the important cats could change. bbm got him for 3 threes a game going forward

def concerned about rookie wall with Porzingis with his minutes in the 20s this month and performance decline. i’ll watch his next couple games but in a 10er all hands on deck could cut bait to stream

in my 12er looking ahead to next week, drop Ray McCallum for Shaun Livingston or Tim Frazier or Weber? though I saw Kerr say Livingston in line for more mins. hold Beasely?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@dom: Wow, 3 a game?! He def is good for 3s and hopefully 2 steals in any given game. Wow, the minutes well over 30 the past 3 is surprising to me. I like that.

Yup, Porzingis and Turner both on rookie wall watch… Get these 7 footers more conditioning!

Prob holding Beasley over that mix, and sure, gimme Livingston as the Warriors start cruising into playoffs, even if they don’t get that record.

  8. Lasandro says:

So… Bojan just had himself a GAME vs Butler and the Bulls. That, if anything, is VERY telling. I may have to add him as my designated THRAGNOF.

Also JB, you HAVE to kinda agree with @Slim re: Joe Smoove. I mean, his %s are STUPID right now and hitting multi 3s like it’s nothing. I’m a Gary Harris owner and if stls weren’t a need for me, I may take Joe instead. Incredible that he and Luol are eating so much in an offense that also features Dragic and Wade. And J-Rich da Rook is getting buckets, too. Slim’s a happy man.

@Lasandro: Yup a good game! I’d go his upside over Johnson.

He’s at 1.9 3ptm, that’s fine, but no way def Harris. Johnson is just so blah. consistent! but blah. the %s are lower end volume wise, it’s def a metrics friendly game right now.

I’d take Richardson over him too! Not that Joe Johnson is terrible, but at some point there’s a critical mass, if I’m saying Richardson and Harris over Joe J, then at some point the numbers of who is owned HAS to make him not a must-own is all

  9. Threekola says:

    Sup JB.

So…in the first week of playoffs and I need to win 3 out of these cats: FG, points, threes, and steals. I’m going to drop Lavine today, since he doesn’t have a game for the rest of the week, for someone with a Sat/Sun b2b. I know Lavine’s been good but I gotta do what it takes to advance. The teams with a b2b are Clippers, Utah, and Knicks. I can pickup Jeff Green, Joe Ingles, and Afflalo. I was gonna go with Afflalo because I feel he’s the most reliable source of points threes and fg%. Anyone else that comes to mind that you would prefer from those 3 teams?

    Okay…now the plot twist.

Porzingis was just dropped. And, of course, he’s on the knicks so he plays both Sat and Sun. The thing is, I’m not sure if he plays both games. It’s my last pickup and it has to be a pretty good one.
So 1) Do you think he’s a better option than any other guy for THIS WEEK given the cats I need? I have absolutely no need for boards or blocks.
and 2) Is he valuable enough to just be forced to pickup?

    Thanks man.
    and 2)

      @Threekola: Sup man?!

Hah I wrestled with b2b guys too. I didn’t have Afflalo in the mix. I went Green, but I needed the scoring and 3s more than steals. Ingles with 6! But I went Green, I think there was a NO matchup in there.

Ugh. Unfortunately he doesn’t fit… I have to take Green. If by Sunday you’re sitting pretty, then yeah nab Zinger by then!
