The Razzball Commenter Leagues are about set. The original RCL got wet, spawned slime cocoons, and are waiting to hatch and take over the city as we speak. The details of the leagues were posted last week. Click this link, or search for the post the old fashioned way. Smoke signaled Morse code? Not quite that old fashioned.
We’re going to run this league similarly to how we’ve run both Razzball baseball and football. We’ll start with three leagues of 12 and adjust accordingly after that. Each league has an organizer. The duties of the organizer will be to accept 11 other people into the league, and set it up at ESPN at the most conducive draft time and during the season post league updates in the standings. Just choose one of the organizers from the three RCLs (listed below) and contact them. If we don’t get enough to fill the leagues, we’ll combine them. And then I’ll project my disappointment onto all of you for not getting your friends involved. Then I’ll feel bad about freaking out on you, because, really, you’re a great group of people who didn’t deserve my attitude. Then I’ll send you an Edible Arrangement and we’ll be good because people love eating pineapple slices made to look like tulips.
We’re aiming to have all the drafts completed by December 23. Posted along with the organizers, are the dates and times of the draft. Go ahead and sign up according to which draft is most convenient for you to participate in a live snake draft. Once the organizer has a full league, he’ll alert me and I’ll close it off.
If you haven’t already, leave a comment if you’re interested in playing (do this in addition to signing up so I can keep track of when we need to open a new 12-man league. @Adam – Drafting 1st in 12 team H2H/Roto. Last year from number one I took Durant and ended up with ‘Reak and Horford on the 24-25 turn after watching all the elite PG fly off the board (ending in 9th place). This year I’m going with LBJ and hoping that Eric Gordon, Wall or Nash are available next. Which 2 out of the 3 do you like with LeBron? Thanks!

@Adam: A fourth league was opened and closed within six hours. If you’ve e-mailed, Tweeted, or left a comment requesting a spot, I’ve recorded it and an invitation to the fourth league is coming up shortly.
If you contacted me after 1 pm (EST), I’m working on finding a fifth commissioner to open up another league, as I suspect we’ll have more interested people trickling in for the rest of the week.

I finished high enough last year to qualify for the champions league, and I didn’t remember until today that there was actually going to be fantasy basketball this year. can i still be invited to that champions league, or am i too late? my fantasy name was either joniuscaesar pham or jonny rancher (can’t remember).
