There is one thing to talk about in the NBA last week and it is none other than Bam Adebayo climbing to the 2nd spot for most points per game with 83 against the Wizards, one spot below Wilt Chamberlain and one above Kobe Bryant, just like we all expected. Joking aside, it is one of the least expected record breaking performances and despite the fact that it needed some stat padding at the end of the game, it is remarkable that we have come at an age in the NBA that a player can take 43 shots, 43 free throws and 22 triples and make enough of them to score 83 points in a non overtime game.
Regarding last week’s suggestions, Precious Achiuwa had one monster game after his “Buy” indication with 29 points and 12 rebounds and rounded out the week with serviceable games so he remains a must in my book with all the Kings frontcourt injuries. The other “Buy” suggestion, Tre Jones, is quietly receiving more and more playing time and is producing exactly what you expect of him, so make sure he is also rostered. Finally, on the “Sell” front I had suggested Mark Williams and apart from his below average contributions his recent injury just seals the deal.

Quentin Grimes: The injury bug has struck Philadelphia in the most unfortunate time for fantasy owners, as both Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre will be sidelined for the foreseeable future while Paul George continues to serve his suspension, with 7 games remaining. Enter Quentin Grimes, who has started the last 5 games and was already a fantasy championship hero last season. We know he is a legit contributor when given minutes, so make sure you grab him immediately (36% owned).
Brice Sensabaugh: If Kyle Filipowski is the tank commander in Utah, Brice Sensabaugh can easily become the tank lieutenant, as he is one of the last remaining “healthy” Jazz players that can consistently put the basketball in the net. Keyonte George seems done for the season with the injury he suffered yesterday, so make sure to grab Sensabaugh, who started and put up 29 points and 6 triples against New York (20% owned).
Jalen Smith: He quickly ramped up to 34 minutes after his injury and with the Bulls paper thin at center he makes a lot of sense as an add. Remember he had a great run of value before getting sidelined and his game is very fantasy friendly (15% owned).
Sell
Coby White: The trade to Charlotte completely annihilated his fantasy value and with the Hornets playing 2 games in the next 7 days, he is a must cut to stream his spot (79% owned).
