Week 1 is already wrapped in the books, and while most NBA teams only have about three or four games under their belt, Week 2 has arrived and so has the dreaded epoch of injury. At this rate, we may have a player go down with stigmata!
While we’ll have a fantasy injury update later today (spoiler alert, it has all the players, ALL), rest assured that Razzball has you covered with the numerical value of such things with our Rest of Season Rankings below, now with a lot less Jalens and Jaylin. Basically, if your name starts with J and ends with N and you are in the NBA, welcome to the injured list!
Now with the rankings, the same caveats I’ve been mentioning in my other content still applies, we’re still very much in small sample size territory… but some trends are appearing and peaking their head out to test the waters. Something like that.
First trend, well yeah, we already mentioned players dropping like flies. Unless your name is Kriztaps, then we are just sending search parties. But other trends too! Like maybe this whole Bam/Giannis experiment needs more NBA basketball players? Are the Timberwolves this good? Are the Timberwolves this good when healthy (TBD). The Pistons are still looking tough, are the Sixers going to be up and up and then down all season? The Clippers and Pelicans are fighting hard, the Warriors are fading fast. Is Kawhi already in mid-season form with knee soreness?
All this in under a week, either the universe will tear an Achilles or will definitely see some more crazy sh*t as we turn to Week 2, until then, here are your Rest of Season Week 2 Rankings!
