Guys, this is going to be fun. There’s so many streams, so many ways to look smart and win your leagues. Pay attention to the storylines, find “injury” replacements, and hope your favorite bad team doesn’t get fined 100 grand for sitting players is the name of the rest of the season.

Hornets:

They have a legitimate starting five, one that will be tough to crack. Coby White returned from his calf injuries, but hasn’t cracked 20 minutes per game yet. You can let him go, but if a backcourt Hornet misses time White will get his value back. Moussa Diabate has a stranglehold on center minutes. Those of you who hang on to Ryan Kalkbrenner, you’re gonna have to abandon that ship and let it sink. Find another big!

Heat:

Norm Powell played just ten minutes and exited with a groin injury. Tyler Herro is again playing, right over 30 minutes (25-4-7), so that helps him. Davion Mitchell should get additional minutes as well.

Bulls:

You can count on Josh Giddey, Matas Buzelis, and Tre Jones to play full workloads going forward, at least for a couple of weeks. The team didn’t win a game in February, though, and the tank seems to be on. Chicago likely will unleash Buzelis more, and at least one of Jones or Giddey will be counted on to steady the ship as they evaluate who to keep around. None of the rest of the roster is very good, but of course with minutes come numbers. Nic Richards went 14-10 and is worth a stream until Jalen Smith comes back from injury.

Raptors

Jacob Poetl is back and playing full minutes. He’s worth checking into, obviously, as with all these injuries someone may have had to cut him loose. Poetl went for 15-7 and 3 blocks against the Spurs; he’s ready to help. Collin Murray-Boyles only tallied 14 minutes and is in danger of cut territory.

Spurs

Dylan Harper played 29 minutes and is a really good prospect who would be getting more minutes on most other teams. A slash of 15/5/7 and 2 steals is a great preview of what is to come from Harper. If De’Aaron Fox or Stephen Castle miss time due to injury, Harper is a must add.

You see how these go? It’s a grind, but a fun one, to check the injury reports and chase waiver pickups. Let’s do these playoffs and finish up well.
