All we needed is a royal event!  Unfurl the red carpet, roll it out in the The Colonies’ biggest city, and The Duchess will grace over his royal territory!  Wow, I just made a Brooklyn Mess game sound like a big event.  FOOL YOU!

As we continue to see Khris Middleton get his minutes ramped up, this was maybe the most encouraging game of the night for me yesterday, as he gets the ASB to rest up and looks ready for a big second half.  Even though it’s more like a big final 1/3, but ya know, NBA…  20/3/7/3/0 for The Duchess K Middleton, with only 1 TO and shooting 7-13 with a trey.  His most minutes thus far (played 26 off the bench) and I just loved this little glimpse of chemistry with Giannis Antetokounmpo with the big highlight from this game:

Guys are looking N’Sync!  I would totally watch The Duchess and Greek Freak lead a boy band…  Through his 4 games back, Middleton hasn’t looked like he’s lost anything, with a stellar 18:4 AST:TO, is shooting 47%, and has two 3 steal games.  With Jabari Parker out and a line-up that will need a playmaker next to Greek, this could be a really fun upcoming stretch.  Kudos if you were able to stash him all season on your IL, and get ready for a royal finish!  Here’s what else went down on the last busy slate of action before the All-Star Weekend:

Glenn Robinson III Got his second straight start in a line-up change, and after a dud Monday, 19/6/2 with 3 treys against the Cavs last night.  Maybe on your deep league radar, for The Big Puppy, but that’s about it.

Monta Ellis – Continuing to be a decent deeper-league contributor again, going 14/2/7 in 31 minutes on 6-8 shooting, while the rest of your Pacers regulars didn’t fare too well in this one.

Kyle Korver Frat boy had another big ThrAGNOF outing, hitting 6 treys on his way to a 22/5/2/1/2/1 line.  He’s actually gotten some D stats lately, but I don’t buy those, or his value beyond maybe a streaming flier.

Channing Frye Yeahhhhhh, I wasn’t really going after him too hard after the Kevin Love news…  I expect him to be better than what he did last night most outings (1-8 FG, 4/8/2/0/0), but he’s also in the streaming class – too many up-and-downs beyond the Big 2 right now on the Cavs. Well, Tristan Thompson is pretty locked into what he is…

LaMarcus Aldridge The Spurs just waltzed through this game, at one point Tony Parker grabbed Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard heading into a timeout and appeared to just tell a funny joke as then all 3 laughed – but were led by a hugely efficient LA outing of 23/3/3/2/1 on 10-13 shooting.

Dewayne Dedmon Another dubdub!  Big man streamer! 10/11/1/0/1 on 5-6 shooting for the big Double-D.

Jeff Green Moved into the starting line-up, going 11/3/2/1/1 in 35 minutes.  Vogel said he’ll want the team to play small once Terrence Ross is ready (didn’t make his debut yet this game) and play Aaron Gordon more at the 4, which could only help a rough Gordon season…

Robert Covington Was having a great game (18/9/2/3/1 on 7-12 shooting, 4 treys, and no TO), but had to exit in the 4th after trying to save a ball and hitting his head hard in the stands.  All we got right now is “head contusion”, but if there ever was a “good” time to go through the concussion protocol, it would be over the All-Star Break.  Let’s just be happy it wasn’t EMBIIIIIIIID with the head contusion!

Dario Saric Man, this hot run just isn’t slowing down!  20/11/0/1/1 with a trey on 9-18 shooting.  Super Dario!

Marcus Smart Wait, can you get a steal if you steal it from yourself?!  Had 6 turnovers, but 8 MF steals!!!!  Hah!  21/5/5/8/1 with 3 treys in a pretty epic line, but did have those TO and 4-7 FT…

Kelly Olynyk Olynyk of Nazaerth continues to wander the desert of a bench role, but making miracles happen with another nice line (16/7/3/1/0), hitting 6-8 from the field and 2 treys.

Dirk Nowitzki Tried to lead Das Mavs in ein comeback, but it was caput!  24/10/3/1/1 with 4 treys from The Germinator in a losing effort at Detroit.

Yogi Ferrell Hopefully you feel a little better if I pushed you to drop him, getting only 20 minutes off the bench with starter Deron Williams getting his 30.  Cold Yogi for only 5/5/3/2/0 on 2-8 shooting.

Reggie Jackson Breaking out of his funk!  Needed it BADLY right before this trade deadline too…  22/0/4/2/0 with 3 treys.

Jon Leuer Who the F is hacking Leuer this hard?!  He’s usually a shooter!  20/8/0/0/1 on 5-7 shooting, but 10-10 FT.

Michael Beasley Another usable outing, going 14/3/0/1/1 on 7-9 shooting, but in only 22 minutes…  Gotta wonder if they phase him out rather than Tony Snell as Duchess gets the minutes up and up.

Greg Monroe Moose is loose!  25/8/3/2/0 on 12-16 shooting, ending the first half mad hot.  Sure, it was against an awful Mess interior D, but they all count!

Brook Lopez Drops 36 points and 8 blocks!  What a way to go into the trade deadline!  SOMEONE wants a change of scenery!  36/4/1/1/8 with no TO and 6 treys in a pretty epic line for Ol’ Clownfoot’s owners.

Spencer Dinwiddie Well, I clowned him from going from 0 points and 8 assists to 17 points and 1 assist the two games prior, but then blended the two last night!  19/5/8/2/0 with no TO in a pretty shocking game.  While it’s intriguing, Jeremy Lin is going to be back after the break.  Now, I don’t think Lin gets very many 30+ minute starts, but it’ll be enough to make neither useful in standards.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Rainbow alert!  6/14/2/2/2, but in one of the worst losses I can remember for a team this season…

Frank Kaminsky 27/5/3/1/1 in another huge game as the starting 5.  Hit 11-18 and 3 treys, but the ice cold fourth quarter put a damper on anything to feel nice about for these Hornets!  They were up big, and then got outscored 32-10 (!!!!!!!!) and lose by 5.  Wow.

DeMar DeRozan Was a big reason the Raps got down so big, with an abysmal 5-19 shooting night.  We need some Serge Ibaka floor spacing, stat!

Dion Waiters The Heat are back at it!  Shocking win at Houston to shrug off the couple losses after their big win streak, led by Waiters and his tripdub flirt 23/9/7 line.  Hit 4 treys and only committed 1 TO.  D’Antoni effect!

James Johnson Dude, NBA falling asleep at the wheel, this didn’t even make their top 10!  Not only that, but it didn’t even get a mother F replay on the broadcast!!!!

Just ho-hum dribbling, them BLAM!  Welcome to my poster, Mr. Dekker!  Yeah, I might have some REL bias loving that drive that much, but I don’t care!

James Harden No flirting, hit his tripdub, but 38/12/12 wasn’t enough.

Patrick Beverley Didn’t help Houston lost their perimeter stopper, with PBev pulling a groin and only lasting 13 minutes.  Damn he gets hurt so much…  Hopefully the ASB layoff will heal him up.

Solomon Hill Ugh, really?!  Decides to be good at basketball when I play him in the REL, going 23/5/1/2/0 with no TO on 8-11 shooting with 4 treys.  Not much to take away from this though…

Alexis Ajinca Might be in a little bit of a showcase, but hey!  Pels won in Memphis last night, and Ajinca has a nice 12/10/0/3/2 outing in 35 minutes as the starter.

Marc Gasol The Grizz were just COLD AS ICE! shooting 27% from the field and 18% from downtown.  6-17 FG for Marcy Marc, but he still fills it up for 15/12/9/1/1.  I blame Mike Conley and his 5-16 shooting for this loss…

Andrew Wiggins Finally playing assertive?!

Gave Jokic some rough jock itch right there!  Although if someone posterized me and yelled in my face like that, I dunno if I would be able to ignore it haha.  40/4/2/2/0 on 15-26 shooting…  Maybe taking Zach LaVine out of the equation and replacing him with the anemic USG of Brandon Rush is helping things…

Mason Plumlee Sheesh, Nuggets playing dem big boys!  Well, with a lot of their bigs out, I guess it makes sense…  Surprising 34 minutes in his Nugs debut, going 11/9/3/0/1.  3-6 FT though, and likely isn’t going to get this much run next to Nikola Jokic that often.

Jameer Nelson Keeps playing like a must-own!  The NBA’s muscle hamster for 16/7/11 in 35 minutes.

Juancho Hernangomez Probably the biggest thing to monitor in this game was how Juancho would play off his breakout, andddddddd, poopypants.  3/1/3/1/0 on 1-6 shooting…  Still got 33 minutes though!  But feels very Marquese Chriss-ish…

Marquese Chriss Speaking of!  15/8/0/2/2 in only 25 minutes.  In the battle of awful teams out West, Suns beat the Lakers by 36.  Hah!

Eric Bledsoe Tripdub alert!  25/10/13/2/0, and you gotta think he was given 36 minutes just so he could get it haha.

D’Angelo Russell At least D Barksdale showed up, going 21/4/4/1/1 in 28 minutes.  7-20 shooting though….

Ivica Zubac Bummer.  Losing by 36 you’d think would be a perfect opp to play Zubac 25 minutes, but he only gets 14.  I’m still holding in a few RCLs, but it’s annoying.

Jusuf Nurkic The Jamba Jus is loose!  Who is more loose: The Goose, The Moose, or The Jamba Jus?!  13/7/1/3/1 in his Blazers debut in only 21 minutes, hitting 5-5 from the field.  Did have 4 TO, which remains a problem, but +15 +/- in a game the Blazers lose by 23 at Utah!  Kinda exciting…

Willy Hernangomez This version of Hernangomez is looking a little more reliable, I am loving the Willy!  Free Willy!  32 minutes at starting C for 8/10/1/2/3.

Jerami Grant I keep seeing potential here, but can’t ever catch the lightning in the bottle…  13/5/2/1/2 with no TO and 2 treys on 3-3 FG, and he has these games every once in a while, just not consistently enough.

Victor Oladipo After a travesty of a game to kick off the week, just needed a little Poppycockers love, and went 21/4/2/1/0 with 3 treys last night.

Matt Barnes – Hitting the glass as hard as he hits the Dom Perignon at the club!  15/14/3/1/0 last night with a trey, as he’s getting pretty consistent minutes with all the Kings injuries…

Klay Thompson Coming off the sore heel, goes 35/5/4/2/0 with no TO and 7 treys.  After a sluggish start, the Dubs put the Kings away on an unreal 42-15 3rd quarter…  But I’m mostly sad it means no more McCAWWWWWWW!!!!

Blake Griffin Man, it’s like he ate Chris Paul to absorb some of his facilitating!  Kinda like The Neon Demon…  Oops, spoiler alert!  17/5/9/1/2 as the Clip had no issue dispensing of the Hawks last night.

I hope everyone had a good final big slate of action as we head into the All-Star Break!  We’ll be around talking the All-Star game and the Trade Deadline through the next week, so drop by when you can and of course hit me up any time in the comments.  Happy end of the first half (well, minus the two games tonight) Razzball Nation!

    Man what happened to porzingis. How is a dude supposedly this talented tanking so bad? HE needs to snap out of it and go back to early season goose!

      @Mad Beach Bums: The Achilles thing, and illness, all kinda wearing him down. Maybe media isn’t hurting, Melo is still taking WAYYYY too many shots… Hopefully the all star breka and the slim chance Melo is moved will give The Goose flight again!

    12 team h2h 9 cat My squad:
    G: Steph, Lowry, Jameer, Elfrid, Wesley, Tim Hardaway
    F: Bazemore, Crowder, Parsons, Tyreke
    C: Nurkic, Brook, Favors

    I’m in 3rd place 4 games behind 1st, and 7th place is 5.5 games back so it’s pretty tight. I’ve been holding parsons, tyreke, favors the whole season and I’m wondering now if I should maybe drop parsons or tyreke. Best guys on the wire are larry nance, jennings, pj, terrance ross, ellis, henson. Thanks

      @Cash: Yeah I think it might be time to start addressing some moves. Love your treys, pretty good dimes, def looks like you need bigs. that said, none of that list is really too appealing, mayyyyybe Tucker for Reke to help with boards, and be able to lose Parsons for the next good big that comes along?

      • Cash says:

        @JB Gilpin: Would you trade Brook for Gobert?

        • JB Gilpin

          @Cash: Absolutely, seems to fit ya perfect and Brook is off an unreal sell high game

  3. Not Your Average Joe says:

    It seems like I’m going to try and drop Ersan and bid on Waiters. I worry about J-Rich’s effect when he comes back but Aaron Gordon still looks all out of sorts, and if Green guarding LMA last night was any indication, doesn’t look like the Magic are going to just throw Gordon full on into PF waters just yet. Gordon would also require a 9th round pick to keep; Waiters and 11th (though I don’t anticipate trusting him as a keeper). Darn shame, though, that the Magic have arrested Gordon’s development. Shouldn’t shock us though after the Ibaka fiasco.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @Not Your Average Joe: Agree with that move to try and nab Waiters. Gordon does still look off, but long ASB, get head on straight, be prepared for PF… Still think we might see something there.

  4. Lasandro says:
    (link)

    Is Pbev a must own in a 10er roto? I feel the need to stash and Len, okafor and Jameer are on the wire. G Harris, Cody, Aminu, just a whole bunch of dudes who could either score more or board harder than what Bev is currently doing for me.. if I knew that mudiay weren’t returning for ages, I’d grab Nelson quick smart. If Tyson gets moved, I’m pouncing Len for those elite Obrds and decent scoring with FTS

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @Lasandro: Nah, not much own, and this groin thing might cost games after the break, never know. Agree that a Mudiay or Chandler deal would make Jameer and Len tough to pass up on, but I think I would just ride out PBev and hope the break heals him.

    That outing does make me feel better about the shogun drop!

    Could you justify dropping Thad or Capella or Collison for Nurk…I kinda can’t but would like to pick him up. MConnel also on the wire.

    • miles proudfoot says:
      (link)

      @miles proudfoot: hmm interesting autocorrect. Shogun should be Yogi. Although I heard that The Shogun Drop is Wutangs next album.

        (link)

        @miles proudfoot: Haha at first I was like “whaaaaaaaaaaa???” Hah. Maybe Capela, since Nurk might be more upside with similar Ft punt. Prob not the other two…

        Pretty dope album name!

  6. JJ says:

    Planning for playoff upside, it it time to move on from TJones, JRich or Brogdon?

    FAs:
    Kaminsky
    Olynyk
    Rivers
    Frye
    Zubac
    Chriss
    Monta

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @JJ: Chriss is still oh-so-sexy for me. I think I would lose Brogdon for him if stashing, but kinda wanna wait and see a smidge longer for Tjones and JRich

  7. Mr. Green says:
    (link)

    For Jokic, how scary is it for his outlook long term that when he goes 2/15/14/4/1/4/2 it feels like an off night! I mean he only scored 15, and he shot 36% from the field and 50% from the line. Send him to the d-league, haha! This kid is a beast, posterized by Wiggins or not.

    Speaking of Wiggins, is he actually turning into the player people were originally hoping he’d become? His last month looks pretty damn good as he’s getting some steals/threes and shooting good percentages. Has a corner been turned?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @Mr. Green: Jokic is such a scrub… Sheesh, compare his early game log to past month, it’s ridiculous!

      Maybe on Wiggins, I wonder how much is LaVine is gone and added alpha-scorer confidence… I dunno… I’m still a little hesitant

    Dynasty league trade

    I give: RHJ/Hayward
    I get: Knight/Irving

    yay or nay?

    • sam says:
      (link)

      @Pavel: NO

      knight is barely in the rotation and maybe wont be traded somewhere where he plays. hayward already best player in the trade.

      • Pavel says:
        (link)

        @sam: you’d rather have Hayward over Irving?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

          @sam: @Pavel: I think Hayward and Irving are really close. I kinda want to keep Hayward side too though, Cavs late DNPs next few seasons is enough to worry me in dynasty context, plus RHJ has more upside, even though im kinda blah on him

  9. Jerry says:
    (link)

    Hey, JB. In a head to head points league would you rather have: Elfrid, Marcus Morris, Nurk, or Waiters ros? Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @Jerry: I’ll take Waiters, his popcorn stats should be the best value and help get him over % and TO concerns

  10. marimon says:
    (link)

    Heya JB. Currently in 4th. Would you make any improvements via trade/FA?

    Hill, CJ, Wall
    G. Harris, Middleton, N. Powell
    Millsap, J. Johnson, Zeller, Frye
    Jokic, Nurkic, Brolo

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @marimon: Yo! Looking like a good team! I’m iffy on Zeller or Powell , but they’re fine for now. Mayyyybe a little rebounding and blocks, hopefully Nurk pans out. With your dimes so good, maybe George Hill + like Powell if someone likes him could get you a decent additional big. Any time!

  11. Larry says:
    (link)

    Hey JB,

    Thoughts on possible trade stashes for the upcoming deadline? Who do you think are some players with the highest upside that might get traded? Players like Knight or J. Hamilton? Also, thoughts on J Rich, still high on him? My possible drops are TJ McConnell, and Yogi. Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

      @Larry: Yogi could def go, kinda iffy on Knight or Hamilton, and J Rich’s minutes kinda concern me… Heat are gonna stick with Waiters and have been good without him. The big PG stashes are interesting – J Murray and K Dunn – if the Nugs somehow move a hot Jameer or Wolves move Rubio. I dunno if Knight it traded to a starting role is all… Maybe Okafor if CHI does that deal and trades away Rolo, it gives him a little more consistency… Just some ideas there- any time!

  12. Shahed says:
    (link)

    Yo JB,

    I wanted your opinion on a trade I just did. ROTO, 12 team, Standard 9 Cat.

    My points are:

    FG 2, FT 7, 3PTS 10, PTS 11, REB 12, AST 12, ST 12, BLK 4, TO 1

    Current roster:

    G: Westbrook, Wall, Conley, Rivers
    F: Paul George, Griffin, Hayward, MKG, Ilyasova, Leuer
    C: DeAndre, KOQ, Zubac

    I just accepted a deal receiving Giannis and Allen for my Hayward and Conley. I really need to get my FG% and Blocks up. I offered Wall, Rivers and Leuer for Giannis, and he countered with this. What do you think, good?

    I’m 4th with 71, 3rd and 2nd have 71.5, and 1st has 72. I have used up 620 games though, 2nd has used 612, and 3rd has used 616, 1st has only used 565. My worry is that I’ll be losing a lot of 3s.

    I just picked up KOQ this week, for the blocks, but will now probably drop him, and Allen when I get him, might pick up Olynyk.

    I can’t see any improvement on TO because of Westbrook and Wall. What do you think?

    Sorry for the long read.

    Thanks.

    • Shahed says:
      (link)

      @Shahed:
      And I should probably drop Ilyasova too right?

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

        @Shahed: Nice on getting Giannis! Yeah I think to boost those blocks it works. Yeah Olynyk seems to fit your build I like getting him. Sure Ily can go. It’s tough to win roto leagues with a 1 in a cat… Is TO an unsurmountable distance from gaining a few points? Maybe you consider trading westbrook…?

        • Shahed says:
          (link)

          @JB Gilpin:
          I’ve had 1478 TO in 620 games played, closest is 1378 from 569 games played, and then 1354 from 612 games played. I figured it was too much to catch, and I only have another 200 games to go. I actually only have 9 games left at PG, and 11 games left at G, so I may move Westbrook and Wall soon, I just don’t want to trade them to the top teams. Man Westbrook really killed by FG and TO.

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

            @Shahed: Yeah he’s just really rough roto, same with the Ft punt guys… Yeah I think trading em to teams in the hunt like 4th or 5th place is the only way to try and alleviate

            • Shahed says:
              (link)

              @JB Gilpin:
              Hey JB,

              So I picked up Olynyk for Ilyasova, and Rose for Allen. Rose was dropped.

              So I just agreed a deal with the guy in 6th, me trading away Westbrook and Rivers, and receiving Porter Jr, Millsap and Myles Turner. What you think? I’m pretty happy with it. Porter Jr and Turner help my FG% and TO, and Millsap is solid across the board. Still working on moving Wall, was offered Aldridge and Batum for Wall and Olynyk, but I didn’t want Batum’s FG or TO.
              Man my blocks will fly up now I have Giannis, Turner, Jordan and Millsap.
              Thanks for the input.

              • JB Gilpin

                (link)

                @Shahed: Nice! Like those. Whoa, yeah that’s a HUGE win, nice deal! Fits your build, erases some TO, yeah FG% should boost, win all around, nice work!

  13. Dante Green says:
    (link)

    This is it bud, I’m dropping Parsons and placing a 7 dollar bid on Gallo (I’m thinking whether 7 or 8). I’m keeping Zubac instead, if he still doesn’t get the run that he deserves I still have JRich on my IR so I could very much make the switch (if JRich gets back to pre-injury form).

    • Dante Green says:
      (link)

      @Dante Green:

      And now there has been news that Gallo might be traded to the Celts. Jesus Would you still make the move? I know you won’t be able read this right away and our waiver wire will run before you get to this, I will be the one making the decision here. Hah

    • Dante Green says:
      (link)

      @Dante Green:

      My supposed $7 bid on Gallo never stood chance, bcoz someone just paid 35 to acquire him! Lol

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

        @Dante Green: Haha damn, sorry i missed your comments til now and yeah, kinda figured someone would go big on Gallo… Sounds like a lot of your league will be strapped for cash now though… I would think Celtics would hurt his value, but it’s all about health for Gallo

        • Dante Green says:
          (link)

          @JB Gilpin:

          Yea, but I had no intention of going hard on Gallo like that. 35 dollars with trade rumors swirling around him? I’ll pass. I’ll prolly just wait til the deadline and go HAM on the possible best player out there. Murray? Juan H? Warren–if Tucker gets traded

        • Dante Green says:
          (link)

          @JB Gilpin:

          Why is everyone on reddit going crazy over WCS? I know Boogie was just moved out of Sac but can you enlighten me as to how he’s the better pickup than the guys who could prolly benefit from a trade or a teammate’s like Murray, Len, Ish

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

            @Dante Green: Yeah all of those are good options, we’ll have to see who is dealt… WCS has been playing REALLY well lately… hitting his FT, has that D stat upside… With what we know right now, yeah he’s a good tier ahead of those guys. Maybe DeAndre Jordan-ish with better FT and less reb?

            • Dante Green says:
              (link)

              @JB Gilpin:

              So would you say that regardless of whether Len or Murray benefits from a teammate’s trade, WCS is still the guy to pickup right now?

            • Dante Green says:
              (link)

              @JB Gilpin:

              So I just checked when the NBA trade deadline is going to be and it’s on the 23rd. Our wire will run first on the 22nd, so if I opt to grab WCS on the 22nd, I will then not be able to get the better player that would benefit from a trade on the deadline. BUT, is it possible that there are still a couple of players that will come out on the 23rd that are better pickups than WCS? To be honest, I’m leaning towards not making a move on the 22nd and just wait it out, I wanna grab the best player that should benefit from a trade. Your thoughts bud?? Thanks

                @Dante Green: Yeah I think we know the situation is there for WCS, they’re gonna stretch him out, I’m pretty excited.

                I am pretty bullish, I would add WCS. Then maybe someone on your team gets a negative impact from a trade, and you will have to make another move anyway. I like tking the sure thing now

                  @JB Gilpin:

                  Who should I drop for him though?

                  G — McCollum, Hayward, Russell
                  F — Crowder, Harris, Parsons, Chriss
                  C — Towns, Jokic, Zubac, Willy H

                    @Dante Green: You know I love Zubac, but the phrase “bird in the hand” or whatever…. I think WCS new role is more assured, I’d swap those

                      Sure bud, I could do that swap!

                      @JB Gilpin:

                      Coach David Fizdale said the team will take “baby steps” with Chandler Parsons going forward.

                      Just read this about Parsons. I think this is the deciding factor, he’s prolly the one to go. I’m keeping Zubac, but if the Lakers are still reluctant to play him 25 mins I still have Jrich on my IR to replace him with. I don’t how much I should bid for WCS but I’m thinking maybe $15? I still got $41 left.

          @JB Gilpin:

          I’m not actually too confident that I could snag WCS for $15, we’ve got a few heavy bidders still in my league, but do I need to spend half of my budget ($41) on him? Is it worth the risk at this point when we still got 2 weeks left in the regular season and 3 if I make the playoffs? Damn, I’m kind of willing to go as high as $20 but I’m not so sure bud.

            @Dante Green: Yikes, baby steps?! What was he doing before, and infant crawl?!?!? Sheesh. I’m pretty bullish on WCS, I would be more than fine with $20+. Although don’t you have until tomo to figure out bids? Can see who else is avail, but if not much else comes out of the deadline, totally good with $20-$22 or so on WCS.

              @JB Gilpin:

              Was hoping Tyson C gets traded so I could grab Len but it didn’t happen. Lol So deadline has passed, and Noel is the guy to own but he’s already rostered in all leagues for sure so there’s no way we could “pick him up” from the wire. Hah

              Free Bobby Portis? For sure! Hah I think he and Payne should be owned in all 12ers next season?

              Anyway, our wire ran before the trade deadline but I still took a shot at using my final pick up for the week and I will now miss out on Portis or anyone. But… I still got WCS for $15. (Was about to bid 20 but I toned it down a bit). Someone else bid $10 on him so I overpaid $5 but that’s still a job well done for me. Hah I’m all aboard the hype train, and I hope everything pans out well. If he plays really well down the stretch he should then be instrumental in my hopes of nabbing my first ever championship. Hah

                @Dante Green: Yeah I kinda didn’t see that one happening… Yup Noel is definitely the biggest riser in value. Of course in hindsight, wish I had pimped him up for a trade haha.

                Yup we talk this on the Pod, Portis was #1 add, I think Payne is must own in 12ers NOW!

                But hell yeah man, love that WCS add! Nice work!

        @Shahed: I know, unbelievable… Didn’t see this coming either… Cousins down a little, but not a major change. AD I don’t think changes…. might help him from minor injuries playing more PF again!

    Best of the wire: Olynyk, T Jones, Yogi, Hield, J Mike.
    I have stashed Ish and Mudiay just in case CP3’s return is delayed and/or RJax is traded. Playoff bye is in hand so this is about getting better for week of March 20. KAT only has three games each for the final two weeks which is a bummer. You have wisely counseled me to dump Mudiay due to his awful percentages but I keep missing out. Will try again today.
    I turn it over a lot in a 9 cat league. So nearly punting them. Who goes, who stays?

    Lowry, CP3 (IR), Smart, Ish, R Jax, Mudiay
    Leonard, Porter, J Johnson, G Harris,
    KAT, Horford, Jokic, Adams, Poison Goose

      @Johnc: Only drop i see is Mudiay as well… Maybe I could argue for Hield for some 3s and his upside, but Im kinda iffy there… I might wait until after the deadline to assess Mudiay for other add otions

    Have one free spot cause Lin is in IL.
    Who should I pickup for my team: Lawson, Ross, Swaggy, Aminu, Harkless, MKG, CLee, Baze, Roberson, Olynyk, Moore, CJ Miles, Hield, Ilyasova, Frazier, Ish Smith, Knight, Okafor, N.Powell

    Trying to be dominant in FG/Reb/STL/BLK/3s and competitive in AST/TO.
    Feel like I need more 3s so should I go Swaggy or Ross? Also like Hark/Baze since they have solid stocks and 3s with good FG%..
    Or should I take a chance on Knight getting traded?

    10Team punt PTS/FT

    G-Holiday,Beverley,GaryHarris,Middleton
    F-LBJ,Covington,Ariza,AGordon
    C-Whiteside,Deandre,Gobert,Frye

        @Tyler: I’m not putting much stock in Knight, I don’t see how a trade gets him a starting role… I’m not big on Swaggy, Lakers gonna be playing their younguns more and more. Aminu, MKG and Baze stick out the most for me, I kinda think Bazemore would be the best fit.
