I’m as surprised as you are, that Withey is relevant.  In spite of the odds, he has been stuffing the stat sheet like crazy this past week, with nearly a double double, 3 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game over the last 5!  I have no idea how long this will keep up, but while Favors is out, he’s starting to look like a must own. Probably just a short term add, but those stats are too sweet to turn down!

Not a whole lot of big news this week, but in Raptor land, Carroll is set to miss 6-8 weeks worth of games, and is probably a cut in standard league.  I don’t see an immediate pickup, but it’s worth keeping an eye on James Johnson and Terrence Ross, to see if anyone can run away with the job.

In the depressing world of the 76ers, Ish has come out extremely hot, and should be owned in every league.  His percentage owned is currently sitting at 62%, so I’m betting some of you are slacking off! Fix that! TJ McConnell was actually productive this past week as well.  The assists and steals are there, for you deep leaguers.

Speaking of depressing, the Lakers actually had a few bright spots this week, the most interesting being Larry Nance Jr.  The kid can rebound like a beast, with two 14 board games this past week.  He’s athletic, active, and he’s getting minutes.  Definitely worth a look if you need some rebounding help.

Unfortunately, one of my favorite stat stuffers Omri Casspi is currently out with some back issues.  On the upside, Belinelli has been crushing it in the points and trey columns, with solid contributions in steals as well.  He was already heating up before Casspi went down, but the added minutes give him a solid boost.  Give him a look if you need some Thragnof! Just for the record, Casspi still needs to be owned everywhere.

Another solid Thragnof name is Allen Crabbe.  Even with Lillard back, he should be a solid source of scoring and threes, on a Trailblazer team that lacks scoring options. Speaking of Trailblazer players, I think it’s only fair to mention the spectacular play of CJ McCollum.  Don’t ask me why this guy isn’t 100% owned.  He’s managed to prove the doubters *looks at JB* wrong, with solid percentages from the field.  In all fairness, I didn’t think he’d shoot over 40% from the field either, so I have to give him props.

That’s all I’ve got for this week!  I’ll switch back to the usual format for next week.  I would also like to give a shoutout to Draymond Green for putting up some absurd stats this week… While doing research for the article, I found that he topped most of the statistical categories for the last 7 and 14 days.  His 10 game history is worth a look, for anyone who wants to be wowed.

Have an awesome week everybody, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter at  @RazzWired for updates between Thursdays!  I’ll try to tweet more now that the holidays are done.  Easiest place to reach me with questions is still in the comments though.  I’d say I answer a solid 80/90% within an hour for those wondering!

who would you choose between larkin or elfrid for ros?

    • Adam

@Dan: That’s close, but I think I’d lean Larkin. Elfrid just doesn’t have the guaranteed minutes anymore.

Hey, Adam! Can you please rank in terms of value for ros: Trevor Ariza, Elfrid Payton, Harrison Barnes, Ish Smith, and JJ Redick. I have to drop two of the above to activate Gobert and eventually, Derrick Favors. Thanks!

    • Adam

      Adam says:

@Jerry: Payton and Barnes would be my drops. Ish, Reddick and Ariza, in that order. Depends some on your league settings though.

Out of these four players who do you feel will be the most productive with the amount of time they are playin: Jennings, Gibson, deangelo, mason plumlee? Jennings I feel like should get more mins down the stretch, but he’s probably on some restriction at the moment. Gibson has been getting the most minutes even before Noah went down, however he is like the 5th option on the team limiting his touches even more. Deangelo should be playing more down the stretch of the season but I don’t think he will ever get more than 25 mins because of Lou will and clarkson and it feels like Byron hates him haha. Mason is hard to read, I like the ast and blocks however is he only going to play 23 mins a night?

I have a punt ft but I am looking for ast/blk as I have literally only 3 bugs but one is injured haha. My three bigs are the beasts of favors and deandre and favors. For some reason I am still not winning blocks consistently lol. Maybe the favors injury has something to do with it?

I’m also considering adding mahinmi but I’m not sure who to drop haha

    12 tm 9 cat

Curry, kemba, Rubio, clarkson, Larkin, Jennings
    Matthews, Fournier, bazemore, beal
    Deandre, Drummond, favors

    Thank you!

@Runfast: I’d go with D’Angelo out of those players. The lakers would be stupid not to play their stud PG down the stretch. Scott is harder on PGs, but he definitely likes him.

Drummond isn’t a huge shotblocker, and you don’t really have any blocks from players other than those 3. Jennings is probably worth dropping, but Beal is right there too… Either one, if you need help in those cats.

Markieff Morris or Aaron Gordon? who to stash?

@Tyler: Probably Gordon, love Kieff’s game, but I think his mental state is ruined for this season.

how do you rate AD RoS… am in a 9 cat roto…

have some surplus of player so trying to go for 2v1 for him…

    1. Millsap + dipo/gortat?
    2. Favors + hayward/porzing?
    3. or the ultimate millsap + favors!

    thanks!

    • Adam

      Adam says:

@TheJohn: AD is up there with the best if he stays healthy. All I can say lol. I’d do any but the last one, and I’d try not to deal Millsap, but Favors probably doesn’t have enough value right now.

Hi, I need some help with rebounds and blocks. Right now I am second in blocks but I need to maintain it. I am in 9 cat roto. What kind of trades or waiver wire pickup ? I am trying to package sullinger and Payton. do you think Nickola Pekovic would be a good stash? My team is way underperforming right now even though I am not far from the leader. I am in 5 spot

pg-chris Paul, Damian lillard, Darren Collison, Eldred Payton
sg-sf- jimmy butler, Eric Gordon, Evan Fournier, Robert Covington, danilo Gallinari, Gianni antetekumpo, Aaron affalo,
Pf-c: nerlens noel, andrew bogut, Roy Hilbert, Jared sullinger

      @Michael:
also should I drop roy hibbert for pek instead?

      • Adam

        Adam says:
        (link)

@Michael: Definitely not, Pek shouldn’t have a huge role on his return, and he definitely isn’t a shot blocker. I’d look to stream blocks guys like Withey, Henson, etc.

Sully and Payton are definitely guys I’d deal, any idea on targets yet? It really depends on the team that’d be interested.

Hi Adam, need your help for the following:
    1) Keep Jon Leuer or Joe Johnson?
    2) Which 2 of them would you go ROS?
C.J. Miles, P.J. Tucker, Kelly Olynyk, Joakim Noah, Nikola Mirotic

    Thanks for the advice!

    • Adam

      Adam says:
      (link)

@Wen: Probably Leuer, depends if Phoenix makes a trade for a PF though. If they do, then Joe.

CJ and PJ. The rest are too up and down with playing time. PJ is semi dependent on whether Phoenix makes a move, as well though. If they do, then probably Mirotic. Depends what stats you’re looking for though.

Should I trade away my Horford and Aminu to get Towns and Bazemore?

Not sure if Pek affects Towns, but I do know Towns might have a monster Post ASB run. Plus I could use some extra blocks. However, Horford is much more reliable. Idk, whacha think?

    • Adam

      Adam says:
      (link)

@Jones: If you need the blocks, I’d go with the Towns side. If Pek affects Kat’s playing time, then the T-Wolves are idiots lol. I don’t think he will.

Nobody believed in CJ like me.

    AND I MEAN NOBODY!!!!!

I had him in the top 50 before the season even started and im pleasantly surprised he’s put up 3rd rd value 🙂

Thanks, Adam! I’m in a 12 team head to head points league. Would you still drop Payton and Barnes out of those five?

    • Adam

      Adam says:
      (link)

@Jerry: Hmm, In that case, I’d probably drop Redick instead of Barnes. Redick will lose looks when Blake gets back.
