I imagine even some Knicks fans were chanting that!

In what ended up being a nailbitier for the Cavs in MSG, Kyrie Irving was unstoppable shooting 12-18 FG (3-6 3PTM 10-11 FT).  Heat check!  Just don’t say that about LeBron when he’s hot… Uncle Drew making NY Blue!  Gave him 37 big ones for a 37/3/2/2/0 with LeBron James assuming the point-forward role racking up a diming with 12 assists.  Freaky Friday!  Well I guess it’s Freaky Thursday, but I like the idea of Kyrie Irving as an angsty teenager in kinda a goth phase…  But while he just “doesn’t connect” with Jamie Lee Curtis, he’s been one of fantasy’s biggest surprises this year.  As mentioned on the Pod yestderday by our guest Justin Phan, for Kyrie to be averaging MORE points a game from last year with the Cavs big three now amassed, it’s amazeballs.  Coming into last night’s game, Kyrie was 5th in per game value and 6th in total value according to the BB Monster metrics, and probably passes Damian Lillard for 5th in total value after this bigun.  While the assists have understandably fallen from 6.1 last year to under 5 thus far in 14-15, I don’t really think there’s anything unsustainable.  Maybe shooting over 48% and over 42% from deep fall a wee bit, but with Lebron and Kevin Love out there, I do see him having career-highs in both.  And the big kicker – TO were at 1.7 last night and will remain well under 2.0 a game even with 3 against the Knicks.  Plus that great FT volume… and baby you got a stew goin’!  I feel like I’ve revelled at every single one of Kyrie’s stats… So go get him if you can!  Drafted in the late 2nd/early 3rd in most drafts, if you can only spend 2nd round value to bring in Uncle Drew, it’ll make you party it up on Championship Sunday of your H2H final like Drunk Uncle!  Here’s what else went down in the three games last night:

Rodney Stuckey – Hoping to fill in that PG void!  Both Paul George and point gaurd voids… Enter the Void!  I’m depressed just thinking about that movie… Anyway, Stuckey started at the 1 and went 16/6/5/0/0 shooting 7-15.  4 TO is no bueno, but pretty solid showing and is must-own in 12ers.  I had been tooting the Stuckey horn for a while now!  Just needed time to get over all the minor injuries and I think sticks at the 2 whenever/ifever George Hill gets back.

Donald Sloan – DNP.  Oh man, Pacers fans were slingin’ it seeing this!  Of course I’m biased – I like Sloan like I’m Ferris – but C.J. Watson got all the backup PG minutes, and was pretty brutal shooting 2-12 in 19 mins.  The final line is fine – 4/3/3/1/1 – but I think they get Sloan involved again.  Not like the Pacers did anything impressive out there with only 82 points against the Blazers…

Lavoy Allen – Another Pacer DNP that didn’t make Pacer Nation too happy.  Ian Mahinmi was hitting the glass pretty hard, but his FT shooting (0-2 last night) is just so, so atrocious…  I want to play him and Josh Smith in knockout!  Can’t block my first FT shot!

David West Nearly rainbowed in 31 minutes (finally getting over 30) for 13/8/3/2/1.  Still yawning over hurr.

Nicolas Batum An actual rainbow!  13/5/5/3/2 on 5-13 shooting hitting a trey finally.  Only 1-5 from deep last night though, as his struggles beyond the arc are catastrophic.  2 for his last 29 now over the last 6 games.  Get the Frenchy some spectacles, seeing this awful shooting is hurting my testicles!

Robin Lopez Uh ohhhhhh!  “Did I do that?!”  Starting to look terrible!  Zero blocks in three of the last four (given he had 5 blocks in that one he did get some swattage) in a 4/7/0/1/0 line.  Losing a board-and-a-half a game is his biggest downgrade form last year, but I still think the on-pace Pts & Blks fall off as he’s about 4 minutes a game under the 31:45 he played in 13-14.  I mentioned a couple weeks ago that the Blazers having a solid bench (mostly Chris Kaman), gives them an offensive option at C behind RoLo and an impetus to play him less.  I’m still holding in 12ers, but in 10-team leagues, I’m more than fine moving on from the Sideshow.

Anthony Davis Good golly, he can take over a game! Of course, the Warriors won in a blowout, but Davis was taking isos the rack left and right, and was the only reason this was a 20-point blowout not 40.  30/15/3/2/3 for yet another rainbow shooting 14-19.  Really no other Pelican had any business taking a shot – Davis shoulda pulled a Wilt Chamberlain and taken 60!

Tyreke Evans It’s only one game, but geeeez!  TOing it over like he’s trying to be a Carter-Williams!  Looking to marry MCW’s sister, who would have to change her name to Masey Carter-Williams-Evans.  11/3/5/2/1 for Tyreke, on an awful 5-15 shooting and 7 giveaways to the Warriors… 13 TO the past two games now.  “I hate the West Coast!”  Didn’t you play for the Kings, Tyreke…?  “Used to!”

Dante Cunningham Not to get too serious, but in a rough year for sports it’s been “guilty until proven innocent” with domestic violence.  Cunningham’s girlfriend accused him of choking her and sending threatening texts, only to have charges dropped and no crimes formally charged… It’s not like we have record of a text like Elijah Duke’s “You Dead, Dawg”!  All of that mess made it take Cunningham forever to find work…  No one but the parties involved know the whole story, but he made his 14-15 debut for the Pels for 2/3/0/1/0.  Only 1-6 shooting, but appears to be in the rotation.  In the deepest of leagues, worth keeping an eye on and trying to reserve judgment on the morality scale.

Ryan Anderson Ugh, that was a stinker!  Stats as near extinct as real rhinos!

Draymond Green Whew, we dodged a bullet #Occupy Nation!  Huge game from DrayDray posting up 14/14/2/0/1 and a couple of treys.  Couldn’t guard The Brow, but then again who can?!

Marreese Speights I had him as a speculative streamer yesterday, and delivered even with Green healthy!  12/6/1/1/1 and had this nasty right-hand to off left-hand little jumper thingy in the paint.  The ace of Speights!  Yeah, keep riding this as David Lee is still limping his way back.

Harrison Barnes Back-to-back dubdubs, but he’s just not very good… 17/10/1/0/0 last night and 0.6 combined steals and blocks heading into the game.  Shooting 50% from the floor is nice, but he’s somehow turned from an uber-athletic wing with great upside into a Pts/Reb only guy…  Which I guess is fine in a Tristan Thompson-from-last-year sorta way!

Tim Hardaway Jr. – Got hot off the bench for 8-14 shooting (4-8 3PTM) 20/3/1/0/0.  Had 16 I think it was in the first half, but then pffftt.  Flatulence – just like ebola, silent but deadly!   Timmy J with the ThrAGNOF of the night award!

Amar’e Stoudemire – Another start and another 30 minutes.  Even my young, non-surgically repaired knees hurt seeing all these minutes!  18/9/2/1/1 shooting 8-13 and you just gotta ride the Stoudemide as long as you can.

Carmelo Anthony Ya know, the overall multi-cat line salvaged his night (9/19/4/1/1), but anytime Melo is in single-digits, you know something was rough… 4-19 shooting and 5 TO.  Didn’t get to the line once!  Settling for too many jumpers, Catan!

Jose Calderon What’s the Spanish phrase for “…like that time your friends light a bag of poop on fire and ring your doorbell and run away”?  Yeah, that.  3/1/3/1/0.  “Well smack my ass, and call me droppable!”  I’m not smacking my ass in all leagues, but in shallower 10s, I’d do some smacking.

Streamers/Cheap DraftKings Picks:

Jason Terry (7% owned) – Ugh, I feel so dirty!  Recommending Jason Terry?!  It’s like a demon Jim Carrey just vomited on me…  But he’s had back-to-back fantasy usable games (18/6/5 4 treys, 16/3/5/4/0 3 treys), and will be starting again with Patrick Beverley out and Isaiah Canaan more than likely out.  Will kill some treys for you and chip in some dimes, so stream away!

James Ennis (1% owned) – Going bold here!  Luol Deng hurt his hand Wednesday and hinted he’ll miss time, so Ennis could get some serious roll tonight.  Especially against an inconsistent Bucks team, particularly on the wing.  Could be a coming out party!

I hope everyone had a fantastic week, and be sure to set your line-ups for full maximization over the weekend.  We’ll see ya on Monday!

    Hey good morning

Can you rank these guys in terms of value ROS in 14 team H2H league?

Donal Sloan, Channing Frye, Andre Iguodala, Ginobli.

If Donal Sloan doesn’t get to play starting role, who is the best candidate to pick up instead?
FA: Payton, Dr. Pap, JR Smith, J Jack, Solomon Hill, Middleton, Dennis Schroder(5 double digit point games in a row)

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

      @ABulldogs: Sloan is done…

      Ginobili, Frye, Iggy I think.

As for the FAs, I would rank them thusly…

Solomon Hill above and beyond everyone else. Then JR Smith when healthy. Next Payton but there are obvious issues with his game to be dealt with. Now were looking at 20-25 min guys and I would go Schroder, Middleton, Paps, Jack. Now if you need to replace Sloans assists more than anything else I think Elfrid would be the way to go.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@ABulldogs: Yeah Sloan can def be dropped, I agree with Slim, I’ll grab hill

      • ABulldogs says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

How about Aaron Brooks? Would Solomon Hill be better than Aaron Brooks?

I def need assists, but don’t want to take Elfrid and F up my percentages.
Thinking about strengthening just some of the cats rather than being average in all cats since it’s H2H.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@ABulldogs: Yeah I’m good grabbing Hill, was rough from the field last night but I think he will be the most consistent playing in all those minutes

  2. TSoft says:

in a 10 team h2h league(DD) would you trade Melo for Ibaka? or Love for Milsap. i need help with blks. thanks and have a great weekend.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@TSoft: I like Ibaka over Melo but there will be some points to be made up for. Love vs Millsap is somewhat debatable but for blocks it’s going to be Millsap, and steals, and FG%. Yeah I still have Millsap well ahead of Love.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@TSoft: Totally agree, of the two I like getting MIllsap a lot more.

Would you take tobias over mcw? 9cat roto? H2h?

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@your mom: Roto I take Tobias. H2H I take MCW. In Roto MCWs drain is going to hurt far too much. In H2H though it’s ok to lose a category or 2 to strengthen everything else. And the most important part of H2H is the standard playoff schedule which MCW goes 4/4/4 and Tobias goes 4/2/3.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

    Hey JB,

    14 Team H2H (10 CAT w/ Off rebs)

    Westbrook, Dragic, Knight
    Oladipo, IT, KJ
    TJones, Brewer
    Faried, Markieff
    Bosh, Sims, O’Quinn

    Lose Brewer for Stuckey?

    Thanks!

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@j: I can get on board with that move. Brewer is just a temporary plug and play with Kevin Martin down anyway.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@j: Most definitely! Stuckey is doing what I thought he would out of the gate, just had some injuries

      • J says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin: Hey JB,

        Same league.
What do you think about losing Sims for Tyler Zeller?

        Thanks!

        • Slim

          Slim says:
          (link)

@J: Yep, I’d make that move.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:

@J: Same here, I’d do it especially after last night!

  6. DK says:
    (link)

It’s me again. Finally owner open to talks. What do you think of MCW-Draymond for Collison-KMart? or even Collison-Parsons?

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@DK: I would definitely take Parsons over KMart. Even with KMart healthy I would take MCW/Draymond side. Colly-Parsons is interesting. The age old question of percents vs steals/blocks. I tend to favor steals/blocks but depending on the rest of the team I could probably go either way.

      • DK says:
        (link)

@Slim: taking mcw/Green even with Lee looming? Hmmm… Well mcw is definitely great for me, but sometimes seeing my FG ft hurts, esp with Jones out, it hurts my FG even more. I think I should be fine when Jones return, if ever.

        My current roster:
        Curry, Lawson, MCW, Lou
        Draymond, McD, Mirotic, Patterson
        Millsap, Jones, Gortat, Duncan, Ed

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@DK: Green’s gonna keep starting, no need to tinker with success. Def holding on Colly Kmart as well, I would probably take the Parsons side though

  7. sleeping slurp says:
    (link)

G’mornin to ya! How does my Draymond/TJones for Thad Young/Lin strike you? He’s in need of boards and blocks, is this too low of an offer?

I’ve been meaning to see Enter the Void for eons, is it a must watch? (if you’re into that sort of thing, which I am)

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@sleeping slurp: Morning man! Hmmmm I’m a little on the fense. Def not too low an offer in the least, it’s a little tough! I’d prob indeed take Young side, I just love DrayDray so much 🙂

Yeah, it’s completely worth seeing once. I actually saw it at a film festival and the audience had a collective “wtf”? Great visuals and the camera work is amazing, but it’s a tough watch at times. All I’ll say 🙂

  8. Wutang says:
    (link)

Don’t think I could be buyin Kyrie with the cavs playoff schedule… Probably be selling trying to get Steph (i wish!) or another 4/4/4 finals guy

Slim got me bought into this whole schedule thing!

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Wutang: My job here is done… Lets see… Kyrie vs Lillard? Not even close since Lillard goes 4/4/4 in the playoffs and Kyrie only goes 4/3/2. Maybe Kyrie and a sweetener can net Steph. Worth a try that’s for sure.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Wutang: @Slim: Yeah I probably should’ve mentioned that schedule… I just said I don’t think anything is unsustainable, and I think you indeed get 6th overall production for second round value, I’m fine with that trade. But yes, def would take Steph! Or move for 2 great guys with good sched later on

  9. Clos says:
    (link)

Jb what side would you pick?
Marc gasol, DMC, Jrue or curry, kawhi, millsap

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Clos: Some big names, I’ll take Curry side. Think he’s best and had all 3 in my top 2 rounds

  10. Kevin says:
    (link)

Hey JB. Thank you for putting up with all our fantasy basketball questions!

Would you trade your paul millsap, kyle lowry, AND darren collison for marc gasol and stephen curry? is that overpaying? I know he likes lowry.

    My Team:
Monta Ellis, oladipo, collison, lowry, Trevor Ariza, ricky rubio

Draymond green, Paul milsap, Anthony Davis, Jared sullinger, markieff Morris.derrick favors

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Kevin: Nothing to put up with at all! Oh man, that’s a doozy! I think looking at the big picture it’s a narrow win for getting Curry. Curry+Brow?! My only hesitation is Lowry is going bonkers without DeRozan. But you get the best in the deal so I will narrowly take it

  11. Nishinga says:
    (link)

What side are you in for:
Horford, Oladipo and Jennings for Carmelo and Dragic.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Nishinga: I’m taking Melo, Dragic unless it’s a deep (16er) league. I have very little trust in Jennings and even when right he is a FG% killer. Horford is still adjusting but it looks like that was one of our worst calls so far. I like Oladipo a lot but he can be hit or miss and has a very poor playoff schedule in H2H. In Roto I like Melo/ Dragic even more due to Jennings and Oladipos problems with efficiency.

      • Nishinga says:
        (link)

        @Slim:
And which side are you in Vucevic and Holiday for Kawai and Bledsoe?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Nishinga: Yup I like Melo side too

  12. Bostonfan says:
    (link)

Ben Mclemore or Jameer Nelson? (9 CAT, 12 Teamer)

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Bostonfan: I’ll take McLemore and Ryan Lewis

  13. TJH says:
    (link)

Weighing up a trade offer where I’d get Wes Matthews and he’d get Jrue Holiday–I have Wall and Knight along with Jrue, so I’m kind of okay at PG, and sit 3rd in league in dimes right now. I’m more middle of the pack in 3s and 3pt%, but lead the league overall in roto. I think it’s probably a good idea, but I’m not sure Wes is sustainable long-term, and I kind of love Jrue? Do you think you’d do it? Thanks…

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@TJH: Yeah I’m too much a Jrue guy to wanna do that straight up. I had Jrue a good 15 ahead of him preseason, but I like the idea of going for a shooter. Jrue + someone for Klay Thompson? I make fun of him, but roto he’s a monster, it’s probably be tough to pry him away

      • TJH says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Okay; thanks for the help!

Hey guys, In a 12 team league, my team consists of – CP3, Rubio, Knight, Kawhi, Giannis, W. Chandler, Deng, Millsap, Sully, Favors, Monroe

Are either TJones and G.Hill worthy of a stash? They were both dropped.
And if so, who would you drop them for? My team alternates between 1st and 2nd place.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Mari: Nahhhh I’m holding my roster, especially with Rubio already a hurt guy you’re holding. Enjoy your ride atop the league!

      • Mari says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: I thought you’d tell me to drop W. Chandler, which would be tough, because he’s actually been playing really well this season.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Mari: Yup I’m not a big Chandler guy, but with you he’s playing too well. Don’t really see Hill or Jones playing “that” much better when healthy if at all

  16. Boom Shakalaka says:
    (link)

So far this season my top three pick Ibaka,Jefferson and Ibaka are all averging less than 8 boards a game, K.Martin was going BANANAS for me but then breaks his wrist so I had to drop him because I only have 2 bench spots. Did I tell you that I also have T.Jones and Westbrook on my team?

Right now I have Mo Williams and Danny Green as the only two spots that I can say are streamable/droppable. What would you do with this team.

    10 team H2H 9cat – GGG, FFF, C UTIL UTIL BNCH BNCH

Guards – Westy, Lawson, Holiday, Collison, D. Green, T.Evans, Mo Will
    Forward/Centre’s – T.Jones, Ibaka, Jefferson, Horford, B.Lopez

Is there anyone on the wire that you drop Mo.Will or D. Green for? Im getting murdered in REB, STL,PTS,FT,3PTS.

    Gibson,Olynyk,O’Quinn,Mozgov,Stoudemire, Redick,Kaman,Verjeo, Affalo,Amir,Teletovic….

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Boom Shakalaka: Amir Johnson I think fits for some help, as does Varejao. But both haven’t been great, I dunno I think I’d keep both. Mo should help in Stl/Pts/3s. Brutal those bigs haven’t come through on the glass, it’s been weird! I think they pick it up. Assists look great for you, maybe trade Lawson or Holiday for a big?

      • Boom Shakalaka says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

Who do you like better for next year. Lawson in the 6th or Holiday in the 5th? Its a keeper league that Im in.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Boom Shakalaka: Whewwww that’s close man. I’ll take Lawson, I think thye’re close to even, so getting him a round later I like

  17. Nathan says:
    (link)

I need an AST boost and G. Vasquez is on waivers in my 10-team 9cat league.

Problem is that I don’t really have anyone to drop. Would you drop any of these guys for Vasquez? It’s a keeper league, so Wiggins is undroppable.

    Dragic, Harden, Calderon, IT2, Monta
Wiggins, Draymond Green, Wilson Chandler, Farried (ugh)
Horford (ugh), Jordan Hill, Pau Gasol, Bosh

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Nathan: Nah, I mean Faried is getting scary for this year but def not losing him in a keeper. Ugh on those guys indeed! I’d hold

  18. jean says:

Vucevic for Batum and Danny Green.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@jean: Hmmm, if I had solid big man play, I wouldn’t mind that haul at all.

  19. Joe says:
    (link)

Two trade questions: one because I want to make sure I’m not crazy and another because I want to break some kind of record with consecutive comments dealing with MCW…

Someone offered me their Rondo for my Calderon and Vala in a deep league with keepers, and Rondo would cost a R.3 pick next year. Am I missing something or is this terrible deal I think it is? 12-team, 15-man roster, 9-cat, H2H.

Would trading MCW (optional keep at R.7) plus D.West (probably not keeping him) for Rubio (optional keep at R.4) and Faried (probably not keeping) be something I’d want to do, and realistic? 10-team, 11-man rosters, 9-cat H2H.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Joe: Haha MCW record broken! Man Calderon looks to be inconsistent, I think I like taking Rondo. Pretty sure that’s what you’re thinking! Ehhhh I think I’d keep MCW mostly because I think West helps you more this year

  20. Shaft says:
    (link)

    Hey JB and Slim,

Great writeup (and answers to comments) as always. Highlight of my day. is that sad? anyway…

In a pretty shallow 10-teamer 8-cat weekly league, would you lose Rolo for any of the following?
    – Amare, B-Wright, or Mozgov?

im afraid to give up blocks in the short term. im still holding terrence jones and feel like i may as well continue to at this point. once hes back i wont be as worried. Would you trust KJ to continue putting up the blocks? i picked him up last week but not sure im ready to trust him entirely yet. If you trust him, then i could drop Rolo for Mo-Will (until Rubio is back).

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Shaft: Thanks man, really appreciate that! Not sad at in the least!

I’m still keeping Rolo over those 3 bigs. With Mo Will hurt tonight with a back issue, I think I’m letting him sit out there too. I think I do sorta trust KJ, they have no reason to not play him and SF minutes should come his way some too when MCW and Wroten ball hog it up together. Thanks again fro stoppin by man!

@kisses: Hmmmm, I think I’ll go O’Quinn unless you needed just rebounding upside.

I’ve got a big one for you guys: Have a chance to snag the brow, and might be able to do this trade – Brow & Bosh for my Cousins/Kobe/Kemba/Tyreke. Thoughts?

    • TOPSZN says:
      (link)

@hammer: At face value, I’d definitely do that. But it also depends on the rest of your team. You’re getting 2 studs in return too. You’d also skyrocket in fg% based on who you’re giving away.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@hammer: Yeah I’m 100% taking that! I’d rather Bosh over any of those guys other than boogie and you get Brow – such a winner winner chicken dinner!

    Hey guys,

I love this site and thanks for all you do!

10 team, punt ft team. 8 cats plus A/TO and DD

Would you trade Curry and Bogut for Rondo and Jimmy Butler?

    My team:

PG: Curry, Rubio, Jose, IT2, Vasquez
    SG: Wade
    SF: Parsons, Giannis
    PF: Duncan, Amar’e
    C: Dwight, Drummond, Noel

    • TOPSZN says:
      (link)

      @TOPSZN: forgot to mention Bogut

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@TOPSZN: Thanks so much man, appreciate ya stoppin by! Man it sucks giving up Curry, but yeah I like that value you’re getting back! Rondo beasts AST:TO and DD. I think in standard formats I wouldn’t, but I like it for your squad!

        • TOPSZN says:
          (link)

@JB Gilpin: Thanks JB. I think I can trade anyone instead of Bogut. So who should I send instead of Bogut?

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@TOPSZN: Can be any of your guys? I’d send off Greivis if they’d take it!

            • TOPSZN says:
              (link)

@JB Gilpin: Ended up having to do the original deal with Bogut. Thanks JB!

              • JB Gilpin

                JB Gilpin says:
                (link)

                @TOPSZN: Awesome, nice work man!

  24. Tsoft says:

10 team h2h 10catg(dd) rank in order value for rest of the year I need help in blks and steals and will be giving up love for one of the following players . Milsap, Ibaka, bosh, favors. Thanks

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Tsoft: Given you need steals and blocks, yeah I like that order you list em. I love me some Millsap, love making that move giving up Love

  25. David says:
    (link)

Hey guys great work as per usual.

Standard 12 team sitting on top and go Beverly as injured but his about to come back,
Is Kmart Worth a when Beverly gets back.

    Currently team is
Lawson conley Beverly harden matthews draymond millsap horford noah okynyk gortat frye

Think I’ll drop frye if I’ll do anything

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@David: Thanks man! Yeah Frye is out for me too, so i think I’m reading you have an IR spot? Or you mean you’re thinking about stashing Kmart? I’m not huge on his upside when he gets back, I would probably stream the spot if I could/keep playing Frye to keep stats flowing

      • David says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

Na no IR spot I would be streaming so you think better to keep the stats rolling at this stage.

If there was a time to stash before Kmart comes back when will that time be?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@David: Ah gotcha, yeah I’d stream it. For me it’d be when he’s practicing in full, which might make me too late. I think the young rebuilding team will want to forcefeed shots to the rooks

  26. Trade Bledsoe for Lowry ?

    Espn standard 8 cat league.

Raps have a better playoff schedule but I’m worried Lowry gets some dnp rests later in the year when derozan is back.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Derrick Yu: Hell yeah! I think the Raptors will still be playing for seeding, I doubt they run away with it.

  27. Scort says:
    (link)

10 team, 10 cat roto (FTM)

    PG: Rubio, Calderon, Lin,
    SG: Harden, Chalmers
    SF: Kawhi, Draymond

    PF: Millsap, Dirk, Frye
C: Favors, Hill, O’Quinn, Tyler Zeller

Should I offer my Millsap and Favours for his Bosh and Duncan? Could use some help in scoring and boards.

Or who should I look to pick up on waiver wire

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Scort: Nahhhh I like Millsap and Favors much more. You’ve got two hot C right now that are good adds so I like that. Ummmm, Ed Davis continues to board well… Reggie Evans should play tonight.

      • Scort says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

        Thanks

Buy low on Horford? Offer my Favors?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Scort: Nahhhh, I’d rather hold onto Favors at this point

  28. Michael says:
    (link)

    Pick one:

Moeitunas, Teletovic, Schroder, Solomon Hill, or Speights?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Michael: ROS or short term? I’d probably go Hill

  29. ABulldogs says:
    (link)

I picked up Solomon Hill For Donald Sloan, but now I am thinking CJ Watson will better replace Sloan’s stats since they are similar.
Would you choose Watson over Hill if you need more assists than rebounds?

How would George Hill’s return in a few weeks affect these two players’ value?

    Thanks

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@ABulldogs: Yeah I’m fine making that move! I would “hope” Pacers go Stuckey/Hill starting at 1 and 2, and Watson can continue to be the backup. Hurts Hill more than Watson I think, but both take hits.

  30. Dante Green says:
    (link)

    Nowitzki/parsons for cousins/derozan

    Is this good?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Dante Green: Yup I def like it!

  31. TSoft says:
    (link)

Kyrie and Ryno for John wall in h2h 10catg (dd), with cavs having bad playoff sechdule and wall is a better fantasy player that can rack up double double.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@TSoft: Yup it’s close but I like it!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@gfpao13: I would do it! Kyrie is much better than Rondo and I don’t see too big a difference between rolo and rondo

  32. Tsoft says:
    (link)

Carmelo and Teague for Westbrook in 10 team 10catg(dd). Im lacking sf my only other sf is afflalo.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Tsoft: So you have Melo? I would probably hold given your positional issues

  33. DK says:
    (link)

What do you think of Draymond for Batum or Markieff? After his hot 31 pts 7 trey, he’s gonna be fetching a lot! Batum should be trending back to last year’s avg?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@DK: Yeah I’d take Batum! But I dunno about Markieff, I had em fairly close heading into the year, I might rather Draymond at this point…

      • DK says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: That’s right, Batum have to get better. He’s too good to be shooting this bad and such low treys. Markieff is pretty much his current form with few inconsistent games depending on matchups.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

          @DK: Yup agreed

  34. J says:
    (link)

    Hey JB/Slim,

    14 Team H2H (11 CAT w/ FGM & FTM)

    Punting Rebs and Blks usually.

    Lillard, Lawson, Knight
    JButler, CLee, Lou
    Hayward, Danillo, Ersan
    Deng, Carroll
    Al Jeff, Markieff

Just got Ersan. However there have been some interesting drops lately.

Alec Burks and Wroten are now on waivers.
I’m thinking about losing Ersan and maybe even Danillo/Lou for both.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@J: Yup I would indeed lose Ersan and Danilo for those guys. I do like Lou while DeRozan is out, even though itll be up and down. A little waiting for Burks, but sounds like he should be back in a little over a week. Any time man!

      • J says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Too many things going on.

Is Ed Davis a must grab with the recent news?

Closest on the chopping block are O’Quinn, TZeller and Covington.

        Thanks!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@J: Haha yeah it’s been a busy week… Yup I would rather Davis over O’Quinn and Covington. I know Covington is hot right now though. O”Quinn is gonna lose those mins to Vuc, I would swap those most likely

  35. Mozgov says:
    (link)

Just wondering how’d you’d rate these guys and why?
    – Frye, Hickson, and Ilyasova
Planning on making some moves and just wondering your opinion!

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Mozgov: I’d keep them in that order,a ll coming down to playing time. I know Frye has been rough, but I trust his minutes the most. Plus hits some 3s vs. Hickson’s better boards but bad FT. Any time!

  36. Nishinga says:
    (link)

What side in Vucevic and Jennings for Carmelo?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Nishinga: Probably Carmelo in most formats/circumstances

  37. Nick says:
    (link)

    Hey JB,

I’m thinking about trading away Monta Ellis for Mike Conley. I’ve been short on assists these past couple weeks and killing it in points. Just wondering if you think I’m giving away too much because Ellis has been on fire recently.

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Nick: Yup, I like it! I had them fairly close with Conley ranked higher coming into the year, and neither have much of a change and it fits your needs. 100% good to go! Any time man!
