Guards for 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball

I usually rank the players by position then write a little blurb about them. It seems redundant, though, since I wrote about each player in the Top 150 posts. Seek and ye shall find, at the top of the page next to the magnifying glass. If you can’t see it, then I suggest that you buy yourself a magnifying glass to look for the magnifying glass.

This year, I’m going to do something different. I’m going to list the players who produce well in each stat category. If you want to see how the guards rank in overall value, click HERE.

POINTS

There are 68 guards projected to score over 10 ppg. 35 over 15 ppg. Only three can be found after round 8 – Evan Fournier, Lou Williams, and Derrick Rose. Here’s the list:

ASSISTS

There are 40 guards projected to dish at 4 dimes or more per game. Derrick White is just under 4, so I included him. Nine can be found after round 8: Markelle Fultz, LaMelo Ball, Goran Dragic, Lou Williams, Derrick Rose, Killian Hayes, Elfrid Payton, Darius Garland, and Delon Wright.

REBOUNDS

19 guards are projected to grab at least 5 rebounds per game. Six can be found after round 8 – LaMelo Ball, Will Barton, Donte DiVincenzo, Delon Wright, Patrick Beverley, and Josh Hart.

THREE-POINTERS

There are 34 guards projected to drain at least 2 tres per game. Nine can be found after round 8 – Patty Mills, Eric Gordon, JJ Redick, Malik Beasley, Jordan Clarkson, Terrence Ross, Luke Kennard, Seth Curry, and Evan Fournier.

STEALS

There are 53 guards projected to steal at least 1 per game. 20 can be found after round 8 – Markelle Fultz, Evan Fournier, LaMelo Ball, Caris LeVert, Josh Richardon, Will Barton, Killian Hayes, Anthony Edwards, Elfrid Payton, Terrence Ross, Donte DiVincenzo, Delon Wright, Gary Harris, De’Anthony Melton, Lugentz Dort, Danny Green, Patrick Beverley, Matisse Thybulle, Josh Hart, and Alex Caruso.

There are 18 guards projected to block at least 0.5 per game  Six can be found after round 8 – Josh Richardson, Will Barton, Danny Green, Patrick Beverley, Matisse Thybulle, and Justin James.
