In case you missed it (and let’s face it, who’s watching Bobcats games?), Kemba Walker had a scary ankle roll Saturday night and will miss 10-14 days.  He’s gonna need a walker for a while after that!  Cricket cricket, cricket cricket.  “That’s not funny JB, it’s just cruel…”  So what if I have Cruel Intentions?!  Now I wanna make out with Selma Blair…  So what if I’m not Sarah MG (I didn’t even want to bother Googling that be sure I had it spelled right…)?!  This is way off the rails…  Back to Walker, he’s a guy that relies on speed and explosiveness, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the full two weeks and even more.  Cue the Ramon Sessions puns!  As a North Carolinian, I guess I am more a Hornets Bobcats fan than any other team, so I may be biased, but I like Sessions and think he can be a decent stream the next two weeks in 12-teamers that need a desperate solid starter.   He’s an emergency Sessions!  Hey that’s the title!  In 38 minutes against the Heat, Ramon went 16/3/5 shooting 6-10 and 4-4 from the stripe.  The 5 TOs are no fun, he does turn the ball over a tad too much, but I think the underrated aspect of his game is he constantly gets to the stripe and shoots good FT%.  He’s at 3.4 makes a game at 79% this year, after being at 83% the previous two seasons.  And last year when he was at 27 minutes a game (22 per thus far in 13-14), he hit 4.8 FTs a game.  He’ll easily get low-to-mid 30 minutes per contest while Walker, Texas Ranger is out, so if you need some scoring, dimes, and that sweet boost of FT shooting in a tough matchup this week or next, or to pad those stats in roto, Sessions is in sess… Eh, well you get it… Here’s what else I saw over the weekend in fantasy basketball:

Ryan Kelly – Razzball TMZ!  Kelly spotted holding hands with Slim after a Lakers game in a prominent Los Angeles night club.  “Ryan, Ryan, how do you avoid getting tickled by Slim’s ferocious beard when you guys are making out?!” I queried.  Kelly threw a Duke Speedo at me.  So while that lawsuit is in litigation, he’s played 30+ minutes a game the past three with a 20/4 game and 17/5 outing last night.  As you all know, I’m Carolina blue, and hate the Dookies.  I just don’t think he’s that good.  But hey, 6-6 FT the past two games, but I’d still rather Sessions right now.  I hate Doh-Toni.  Who knows what srubby F he’s going to give 35 minutes a night to next.  Ryan Kelly gets 37 minutes to Jordan Hill‘s 11 last night?!  Who do you think is the better NBA player Razzball (Slim don’t answer)?

Brandon Knight – Here’s the guy I would make out with!  Wow, three straight players and making out used in all three.  Perfect inning!  20+ Pts and multi-threes in three straight.  Rebounds and Assists not trending the right way though.  Don’t you turn into a ThrAGNOF on me, Brandon, after all we’ve been through!  Still has great upside in those cats though, especially if Larry Drew can figure out he needs to never use Luke Ridnour again…  Ridnour did sprain his wrist, so there’s hope Knight can get back to the diming ways.

Channing Frye – Career-high 30 Pts.  5 treys and 3 blocks.  Yeah that’s pretty good.  I guess I have to start turning the corner there…  It used to be the only Channing in my life was Tatum…

Kenneth Faried – Manimal is caught in a Shaw trap.  His minutes the last three have been 17, 21, 13.  He had been playing in the 30 minute range just fine after Shaw said he “solidified his rotations” (what I called the Shaw-shank redemption), then Faried gets low run and all the sudden after winning 5 straight they’ve dropped three of the last 4.  Now Shaw said Manimal was sick, as in – had an illness not playing well – but man, frustrating…

Evan Fournier – The Virgin!  Got a start and went 17/4/1 with trois treys in quatre attempts.  If only someone told you to get him in the second half months ago!  Randy Foye did sit this one out after eating some bad sushi, but I like Fournier for the stretch run.

Isaiah Thomas – 38/6 last night.  Loving it from the Pizza Guy!

Jerryd Bayless – Stubbed his toe… JB is playing his way out of Boston… Going the same arc as my NBA career… Opens the door for Phil Pressey to keep getting decent minutes, as Rajon Rondo is still on a minutes restriction.  Pressey is a solid very-deep league add for cheap dimes.

Kelly Olynyk – Had a huge Friday, you could even say a Good Friday, for 25/5/7/2/1 in 33 minutes to only 17 minutes of 9/5/2/1/0 last night.  Brad Stevens is a buttface.

Jared Sullinger – Hasn’t been awful, but not the same since the Goromotaro.  At least he’s still getting about 30 minutes a game.  Still like-a-da Jake Sully.  I would so plug my braid into that.

Kyle O’Quinn – 10/9/1/1/1 yesterday shooting 4-6.  Every Magic game I watch I always like his motor, which is the nice way of saying he’s small for a PF/C, but had 3 blocks in each of his previous two games before yesterday and is worth a look in deep leaguers.  I am crossing my fingers that he’s who I end up with in REL across a few bids.  Nikola Vucevic will obviously hurt his value when he’s back, but Vuc is thus far without a timetable.

Patrick Patterson – After I endorsed him last week he had a clunker, then 11/5/1 with a trey Friday followed by 17/7/1/1/1 with two treys yesterday shooting 7-12.  Only owned in 13% of Yahoo leagues is too few.  It helps Pit Pat out that John Salmons is getting back spasms if the Raptors ever want to play Pit Pat as a big 3.

Terrence Jones – Holy Hakeem Olajuwon!  An unreal 36/11/1/1/2 game Saturday night with a trey.  About 2 months ago I feel like I gave Jones as a waiver answer frequently, so hopefully Razzball Nation is killin’ it with TJ teams!

Devin Harris – Pick up of the day!!!!  Haha, I jest, but 18 minutes going 6/2 and could have some marginal value in the deepest of leagues for a guy who is probably out there everywhere.  He was available in REL, but I had my bids elsewhere.

Tyreke Evans – Back from yet another ankle sprain, and we can only hope they hold up because he’ll probably get a lot of rock while Jrue Holiday is out.  14/4/2 in a whopping 31 minutes in his return, and a big buy low if you can get him… A big – albeit risky – one…

Brian Roberts – 35 minutes on Saturday for 9/3/5/0/0.  Feels good that I get some things right, being unbullish on this one.  Bearish?  Wait, I didn’t like him, is that a Bull or a Bear?  I may have a business degree, but it’s in Marketing!  I like Sessions as the guy to own right now, as an example of an asset swap.

Andrew Bogut – I somehow only have Bogut on one team after liking him a lot heading into the year…  10/15/2/0/5 in another game that will probably go down-under-the-radar.

Ricky Rubio – I’ve seen a ton of low-ball trade offers in the comments of people thinking of selling Rubio.  I know the single-digit scoring in 7 straight blows, but he’s boarding, diming, and has hit treys in four of five.  No way I’m selling for a huge discount.  Hopefully you didn’t draft him hoping for a 17 PPG scorer and you should be fine.

Dewayne Dedmon – 7/7 with a block and 8/7 with a block on Friday and Saturday.  The 7 footer picked up from the D-League I think has great upside as the Sixers continue to be tankers.  Worth a shot in 16-teamers and deeper.

Jason Smith – Knee surgery for the NBA’s favorite witness protection player.  Gives Greg Stiemsma some “starts”, but only played 13 minutes in his “start” as the Pelicans went with Alexis Ajinca and Jeff Withey as scrubby C options when Anthony Davis isn’t the 5.  Not at all interested in any-a-dat.

Marquis Teague – I just have a soft spot for his upside in a few years.  Traded to the Nets as reported, although not finalized.  Fantastic situation for him for very deep dynasty owners.  I think he’ll be the #2 PG there by next year (Shaun Livingston is only signed through this year and Deron Williams can’t stay healthy, so Teague has starter upside) and can learn a lot from Jason Kidd.  I’ll be throwing a $1 at him later in the REL season to stash for next year.  Of course, that’s hoping no one from the REL is reading this far down…

Andray Blatche vs. Tristan Thompson – While Blatche went off in his only game last week for 20/14/6/1/1, TT went 20/10/0/1/2 in his only game since Wednesday, shooting 8-9 from the field.  Consistency beats the terrible-then-outlier big game!  We’ll see how Slim is feeling about our bet after this week.

Next Game – First off, be sure to set your line-ups this morning!  Games start as early as 1:00 AM on MLK holiday, so hopefully you’re off work and ready to watch hoops all day.  TNT Overtime is back tonight and I’m making your highlight markers!  So check out my highlights during the POR @ HOU game, then I’m back to Yahoo highlights for IND @ GSW.  About the best two games you could hope for in one night.  I hope everyone won their matchups last week, had a great weekend, and kills it in week 13!
