Centers for 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball

I usually rank the players by position then write a little blurb about them. It seems redundant, though, since I wrote about each player in the Top 150 posts. Seek and ye shall find, at the top of the page next to the magnifying glass. If you can’t see it, then I suggest that you buy yourself a magnifying glass to look for the magnifying glass.

This year, I’m going to do something different. I’m going to list the players who produce well in each stat category. If you want to see how the other positions ranks:

FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE (weighted for volume)

There are 25 centers projected to shoot at least 50% from the field. Jokic is at .499. Nine can be found after round 8 – DeAndre Jordan, Ivica Zubac, Nerlens Noel, Jakob Poeltl, Mason Plumlee, Dwight Powell, Jaxson Hayes, Jahlil Okafor, and Daniel Gafford.

POINTS

12 centers are projected to score over 15 ppg. Gobert is at 14.8, so I included him in. None can be found after round 8.

REBOUNDS

33 centers are projected to grab at last 5 rebounds per game. 11 can be found after round 8 – James Wiseman, DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Jordan, Ivica Zubac, Nerlens Noel, Aron Baynes, Mason Plumlee, Jakob Poeltl, Cody Zeller, Mohamed Bamba, and Jahlil Okafor.

STEALS

There are nine centers projected to steal at least 1 per game. If I expand it to 0.9, then the number goes to 12. Two can be found after round 8 – DeMarcus Cousins and Nerlens Noel.

BLOCKS

There are 30 centers projected to block at least 1 shot per game. 11 can be found after round 8 – James Wiseman, DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Jordan, Ivica Zubac, Nerlens Noel, Jakob Poeltl, Mason Plumlee, Bol Bol, Marquese Chriss, Goga Bitadze, and Daniel Gafford.
