I usually rank the players by position then write a little blurb about them. It seems redundant, though, since I wrote about each player in the Top 150 posts. Seek and ye shall find, at the top of the page next to the magnifying glass. If you can’t see it, then I suggest that you buy yourself a magnifying glass to look for the magnifying glass.
This year, I’m going to do something different. I’m going to list the players who produce well in each stat category. If you want to see how the other positions ranks:

Draft question
Looking at Davis/Leonard then top point guard and another big.
My fifth pick is going to be a point guard again
My question is if Paul and Van Fleet are both there i know u have Paul a little higher but does it matter that Van Fleet has SG designation . Somewhat similiar except for 3s and FG pct.Which way should i go?
I’ve been taking FVV over CP3 in some drafts. Just depends on what I want and how I feel. I also do like positional flexibility, but would only use that as a tie breaker. Keep in mind that the projections just show overall value. I love TOR guys cuz they play a ton but Paul would provide more dimes. Just depends on what you want
Awesome thank you for your knowledge!
Anytime
Sir SON! Perfect thread to ask on this one because it’s my center-focused/rebound-centric/big boys-rule league:
12 teams, h2h 11 cats: std 9 plus OFF REB and DEF REB (boards reign supreme), keep 5 by round
For the last keeper: Should I try to nab a 9th round pick (would require dark arts, but possible) and keep Jaylen Brown, take young boy on my team that will get small-ball C minutes – PJ Wash (12th round), or Baynes in the 14th with starting job in TOR?
Thanks as always, master!
I love both PJ and Baynes. PJ for me. Will get more defensive stats
PJelly Time it is…
So Jay Bee is a distant third?
You should probably take Brown 2nd but I’m lower on him than most and higher on baynes
I have Ayton (1), Sabonis (9), Jokic (12), and Wood (15)
So the first four spots are locked up – just needed to get agreement on PJ as #1 best option. You da man, and da sir!
Salud
The Lord has been good, SIR!
Lol. There is only one Lord and his shooting efficiency isn’t so great. 🙂
What TIME is it!!!
Shit. There’s two then. Time lord and lord covington
Son,
When will team assessor tool be updated? Was a huge help the past few years.
Should be updated

Sir Son, my league is 12 teams H2H 11 Cats 9 stn and extra 2 Cats are FTM FGM
i have the 4th overall pick and would you take Lillard at 4th overall? Also, would it be crazy if i take Nurk 3rd overall if i get another high scorer in the 2nd round?
Not crazy but who’s off the board?
As for Nurk, I hope you mean 3rd rd and not 3rd overall. I’ve seen him go in the 2nd and 3rd in drafts
Hi Son, just drafted today and used awesome draft tools from here. It’s an 8 man 9 cat league but think I messed up my team slightly:
G: Booker
J. Murray
Sexton
Seth
F:KD
Jokic
Middleton
Bojan
JJJ
C: Nurkic
Porzingis
Brook Lopez
Markkanen
Obviously lacking in a few cats and overly strong in other ones- anything that massively stands out for you?
Weak in steals, but outside of that, solid team
What’s up my man
How high are we on Noel and Boucher? Guys like Bazley and Holmes are on the wire, thinking whether to make the swap or not
I missed you. So much that I wanna Kawhi.
Pretty high on both. Holmes is similar to those other two. Bazley will get the most minutes out of everyone, but then it comes down to what you want
My mannnn! I just dropped Boucher and picked up Noel. But I’m now having a strong urge to drop Markannen and place a bid on Bazley. Hah That may sound stupid but Lauri hasn’t really done shit for much of his career.
I like both Boucher and Noel.
I’d rather have Markk than Bazley
*picked up Holmes
Punt FT. I have the option of keeping 2 out of Ayton(costs 2nd Rd pick)/Gobert(costs 3rd rd pick)/Nurkic(costs 4th rd pick) to start my build with. Which pair would you lean towards?
Gobert/Nurk
Eyo Son! Care to comment on my roster woes? Drafted this in 9cat H2H, 12-team. My own understanding is 1) Harden underutilised 2) needs more wings and more tres production. Been thinking about Memphis frontcourt and White, possibly Dray as potential trade chips with Tatum (no chance I assume), MPJ, Kelly O in mind. 2 for 1 would also enable picking another solid wing off the waivers like Bazley. How’s it look to you?
Team is:
G: Harden Gilgeous-Alexander Fultz Dejounte White
F: Anunoby Covington Draymond Clarke
C: Nurkic Valanciunas Carter Jr Horford
Update: just weighing my options I’ve mainly thought of one or both of White and Clarke, with MPJ, Oubre, as well as Powell as options to lessen my scoring troubles. Could White for Powell be worth a shot? Also, for what it’s worth, waivers have Burks and Barton in addition to Bazley, so if I free up a spot, one of them would probably look like an option. I’m guessing Kennard and Kevin Porter are less interesting. Sorry for the mass of text!
I like Bazley the best. I like MPJ if you can get him
Eyo!!!
You super light in tres. Just average in points. Really good in boards, steals, and blocks
Thanks! In any of these cases, or when trying to get Middleton or Don Mitch, is a combination of Valanciunas and White/Clarke feasible? Just looking at the rosters who might have an use for what I’ve to offer. Similarly, MPJ also worth offering 2 players? I suppose the upside is there
It really depends on the other owner. How they feel about those players and what their team looks like. In your case, it’s good to try and match with a team that needs boards, steals, and/or blocks. I think MPJ has a lot of potential. There’s risk though as well. As for 2 for 1, always depends on who you’re giving up
Thanks for the 2 cents! Will snoop around as I really would like to accommodate Bazley as well.
Anytime!
Oof… a few further questions, just can’t completely come to my own conclusions. White (of the Spurs variety) and Clarke seem to be both good players of their own in a vacuum as well – is it a drastic overpay if I move them for a Powell or Richardson or Hield (and pick up Bazley, theoretically). Does either duo with Bazley hold more value or would I be better off just conceding trying to get more 3s and continue with the team I have? I think there is a point where I’m just trading for the sake of trading, but Richardson’s multi position eligibility is good, as was his performance today.
Hield probably fits your team the best
Back again! No one’s been biting, and now that news of Derrick being out for a further while, I’m probably even less likely to have a chance of anyone accepting a trade. On top of all that, ESPN doesn’t seem to be inclined to make him IR-eligible. Would you rather pick Bazley up or wait and hope that he’ll remain under the radar for the time it takes me to slot White in that IR space? I suppose he does have too much potential value to just drop him outright.
I think the only other options left on the board are dishing out Clarke/White for either Powell or Richardson, and they kinda look like net losses?
That’s tough. I probably pick up Bazley
I don’t mind Powell and Richardson either
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll give those Powell-Rich trades a go as well. Are they about the same or would you prefer either one? Lesser value in Wiggins probably?
similar
Hi son,
Would love to seek for advice on my team on 14team, h2h 9cat league.
Trae Young
Westbrook
Sabonis
Aldridge
Warren
Coby White
Oladipo
Jerami Grant
Bojan
Delon Wright
Mason Plumlee
Carmelo
Gharris
What are your thought for my team? Any moves or trades you could advise?
You weak in blocks. Also, blocks and the percentages are light.
Thanks for your comment son, would ot be a good team if i just punt blocks??
You already are!!! =) Your strongest cats are points and dimes. Average in steals and ft%. Weak in boards, 3s, and fg%. There are many paths to take here. What gives you the best chance to win 5 cats per week?
Thanks a lot. Great insights here.. Your always reliable <3
I heart you too
Hi son,
Always love your content here.. You’ve helped me won couple of times the past years. May I ask for your input on my team here. 12 team ,9 cat h2h league.
G: Harden, Rubio, Derrick White,Killian Hayes, Divincenzo
F: Butler, PG13, Middleton, Hayward, Bazley
C: Love, Draymond, Boucher
That’s good to hear, Philip! Thanks for reading!
Super weak in fg% and very weak in blocks. Strengths are dimes, steals, and ft%. Average in boards and good in points.
Thanks. Elite bigs hae been hoarded and sniped before me so thought of just going for usual guard stats here and punt bigmans stats. League is no trade one so i’ll be wih this team for the season.. Hope this’ll be a good one.
Will be looking forward on following your articles to help me dis year too.
Gotcha. There are many paths to victory!
Good luck this season!
Hi. there Son,
I just discovered this site, and wow, what a wealth of information. I’m participating in my very first fantasy draft tonight – 9 category, 12 team, H2H, snake draft. I had a couple questions for ya 🙂
I have the second overall pick, and if possible I want to draft Luka – he’s been my favorite player not on my home team and it would be so fun to root for him this season. Do you think that’s just simply worse than taking a player like KAT? I know having a center like KAT is super valuable, I’m wondering if I can make it work by trying to nab Ayton or Drummond (or maybe even Bam if he somehow falls) with the 23rd or 26th pick – getting me solid scoring, rebounds, and FG%. Do you have any thoughts? Or general strategies that would be good to keep in mind going into the draft tonight?
Thank you! I’m about to spend a whole lot of time reading this website lol. I’m definitely a little overwhelmed, but I feel like once I’ve done a full fantasy season I’ll have a much greater sense of what the hell I’m doing.
Sam
Welcome!!!
Luka takes a hit in 9-cat due to turnovers but it’s your team, so I’m all about grabbing your guys. There are many paths to victory so if you with Luka, map out a plan to build around him and execute. With that said, be cognizant of how the draft unfolds and pounce on value if it presents itself.
The Razzball community is one of extraordinary magnitude, so reach out and someone will help
Yeah the turnovers were the main concern I had, I’m wondering if the game just keeps slowing down for him and he can take care of the ball more in his third (!) year.
Do you have a consensus pick you think is the best or most versatile? Im not opposed to punting, it’s just intimidating given I’ve never done this before, so I’m trying to figure out how to best set up the rest of the draft for success.
Thanks for the response!
I think he can improve. I personally like AD because he gives you everything, especially the D stats but everyone has their risks and weaknesses. Like I said, there are many paths to victory
Hey Son, love your content!
If you’ve got a minute, would love any thoughts on this team 🙂
G: Harden, Kemba, Kyrie, Seth Curry, Killian, Huerter
F: PG-13, J. Harris, Crowder, Danny Green
C: Embiid, Boucher, Nance
Thinking of picking up Noel or Jordan as another big.
Super weak in boards and fg%. Strengths are tres and ft%. Weak in blocks as well. So, getting bigs is a good thing
