If you’re like me, you’re afflicted with the “March Madness”. And you love it. It consumes your every thought, much like the image of Sophia Veraga and Christina Hendricks, in nighties, you know, doing sexy things to each other…

Fun fact: the busiest day for booking vasectomies is the Wednesday before the beginning of the Tournament. So the snipped one can lounge on the couch all day with a bag of frozen peas on his mutilated nethers and take in 12 hours of frenzied basketball without being bothered by his lady. True fact, look it up. What I’m getting at is although you may be in the midst of your fantasy playoffs, we’re all too occupied to watch the hours of NBA required to give in depth analysis at the moment, as I have bag of peas on my junk. Metaphorically speaking. And I expect you to be a gracious partner and leave me to my tournament, and would it kill you to make me a sandwich?

Too far? Fine, here’s a smattering of add/drops:

Buy:

Josh McRoberts PF
The air in Charlotte must be much better than in Orlando. Or L.A. Or Portland. Maybe being close to Duke again helps?
Whatever it is, he is producing, and is owned in less than 4% of leagues. In the last five games, he’s averaging 12.5 points, 9.6 boards, 3 assists, 1.5 steals, and a block. Almost as important, he hasn’t averaged less than 30 minutes each game. He won’t score a ton, but you could do worse for boards, blocks and steals. And he has a killer beard, so he has that going for him.

Martell Webster SF
Martell has been getting a healthy dose of latin loving, because his long balls are on fuego! (sorry, that was poor.) He has capitalized on Ariza going down with an injury, and Beal getting re-injured; in the last 7 games, he has hit an average of just under 4 3Pts per, and averaging 19.1 points, 3 boards and 2 dimes per! Muy Caliente! (sorry, sorry, that was the last one)…

Reggie Evans PF
My man Reg won’t give you much variety. He brings the same thing in his lunchbox each and every game: Rebound sandwiches. A ton of them. He pulled 22 boards down on Wednesday, the 2nd time in 3 games he has yanked more than 20, and for the 3rd time this month! And he has gotten 10 or more rebounds in 11 of his last 13 games. A smattering of points and a block here and there, but you better be hungry for boards.

Watchlist:
There is news that Tony Parker is participating in 5 on 5 practice drills, and may play as soon as Friday. If anyone was foolish enough to let him go, snap him up! To be fair, I thought he was going to be out for the duration of fantasy playoffs too, don’t feel bad.

Sell:

Elton Brand PF
Elton was playing very well at the beginning of the season, but like his knees, his game lacks explosiviness. Homeboy has averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 boards. Sad to see the good guys fade away onto obscurity.

Dion Waiters SG
Dion isn’t performing wasn’t, he’s just injured, which is a shame. Based on what info I’ve been able to find, he has some loose cartilage in his knee. He’s being prescribed a week of rest, then some further inspection, which could result in arthroscopic surgery. I would consider dropping him, if you need the roster space.

Al-Farouq Aminu SF
He’s averaging 5.5 points this month, and while he will get you rebounds (7 per), and steals and blocks here and there, he’s distant, doesn’t appreciate you, and I think you can do better.
