Welcome back! It’s Thirsty Thursday and I’m ready to pour you all a glass of green juice as we light up those screens tonight with some cash money. Last week four of the guys from this article finished as a top-12 fantasy scorer. I mentioned Chris Paul had a great shot of hitting 50 fantasy points and what did he do? 56.3 on DraftKings and 52.6 on FanDuel, good for third highest on the night. Tonight, Kevin Durant and James Harden get to beat up on their old team (OKC) sans Kyrie as he isn’t playing home games right now. We also get to see the most exciting player in the NBA tonight, Ja Morant. Did you see that block he had?  Most importantly, we will be build (lineups) Rip City on Nurk and Little! If you don’t get the reference, here you go.

Happy New Year! The boys are back in town. What a great start to 2022! Lance Stephenson signed a 10-day contract with the Indiana Pacers where he played his first four seasons in the NBA and Kyrie Irving played his first game of the season for Brooklyn. The cool thing? These two things happened in the same game as the Nets beat the Pacers 129-121. Kyrie put up 38.75 Draftkings points in 31 minutes at $8900 while Lance recored 41.75 Draftkings points good for 13x at the minimum price of $3000 (that’s a gpp winner)! Let’s see if we can find tonight’s Lance.

Welcome back! Another wild week of protocols is behind us and it’s time to prepare our New Year’s resolutions. It’s important to set specific, attainable goals and not just say you want to win the milly-maker. I’ll go first. My resolution is to take one night off from playing DFS every week to mentally reset. Lucky for you, that night isn’t tonight. A common resolution is to lose weight or go to the gym, but those are too general and they typically don’t last. So if you’re having trouble thinking of something I’ll help you out: resolve to sharpen your DFS skills! There’s no better way to do that than reading this article every Thursday. Let’s smash 2022!

If you’re new to this article, I break down tonight’s 11-game NBA slate and give you my starting five for both FanDuel and Draftkings.  These will be my core plays (guys I’ll be playing in my lineups with my money) for hitting the cash line in 50/50s and double-up contests.  If you’re looking for GPP winning plays you’ll have to follow me on Twitter (@TimmySperos) and then we can talk. At the end of the article, I’ll have a pool of three to five players I like that you can use to fill in the rest of your lineups. It’s important to have a process in DFS so let’s review the strategies you should be thinking about.

Welcome back to Thursday Night DFS Dunks! Tonight we pay homage to the late Christopher Wallace, aka the Notorious B.I.G., with the Brooklyn Go Hard theme. The Nets play host to the Sixers at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will likely only dress eight players for the second game in a row.  Blake Griffin played 31 minutes and David Duke Jr dropped 40 Draftkings points vs. Toronto on Monday.  Now, the price has come up a bit for all the Nets, Patty Mills is up to $6,600 (yikes), but they are still the best value on slate and Biggie is still the best rap artist of all time.

Welcome back to Thursday Night DFS Dunks!  Tonight we have a small three-game slate.  In addition to the $10 I’m investing in cash games, I will attempt to turn $2 into $400 in the Draftkings $4K Elbow Shot [single entry] contest. This is a contest I finished second in earlier this year and I’m not moving on until conquering this mountain and plant the Cousin Timmy flag at the top.  I like to enter this contest on a nightly basis because it has a flat pay structure. Depending on ownership (comes out around 12 PM ET ) I’ll use anywhere from two to four guys from this article in that lineup. There are ~2300 entries in the contest and you don’t need to have a lineup with nine guys at less than 5% to take it down. Ok, let’s move on to the goods.
