I usually browse reddit and the NBA community for funny or interesting statistics and posts and recently stumbled upon this post that detailed all the teammates Cade Cunningham had last season in Detroit. If you exclude the core of the Pistons roster still in rookie deals, i.e. Ausar Thompson, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren we are talking about 27 players that suited for at least 1 game and only 3 of them are still on the roster! What is more impressive is that 10 of the 27 players are still in the NBA but with minimal or non existent roles and the rest of them, which is 14 players are no longer in the league.
It’s an eye opening statistic that shows how much burden Cade Cunningham had to shoulder last season and how different things are this season with an improved roster and the Pistons over the 50% winning mark.
Regarding last week’s suggestions, both Toumani Camara and especially Shaedon Sharpe had very productive performances during the last week and I hope you capitalized. On the Sell front, Jusuf Nurkic is either injured or “injured” but regardless of his availability and unless a trade happens, he remains a clear drop in my eyes.

Cole Anthony: After a very slow start to the season Cole Anthony got the starting node due to a scary injury Jalen Suggs sustained on his back and has provided his usual high usage, high scoring performances. Since starting, he is averaging 18.6 points, 2 triples and 1.4 steals and is ranked inside the top100 in per game value for that span, so give him a look at least until Jalen Suggs returns (27% owned).
Vit Krejci: Jalen Johnson’s injury has allowed Vit Krejci to both start for the Atlanta Hawks and also to get meaningful minutes during the last week and he has responded with 13 points and 3 triples on average. His scoring will never jump out of the scoreboard but he is a good facilitator and a threat from the 3-point line so he makes a lot of sense as a streamer, until Johnson returns (3% owned).

Zach Edey: After returning from an injury Zach Edey’s minutes have plummeted during the last 2 weeks and his value is currently obviously not for standard fantasy leagues. Although a resurgence is always possible, I think that currently he is more of a burden for your team so I would drop him and watchlist him to act accordingly in the future, if his role improves (64% owned).
Tyus Jones: The lineup and rotation shakeup in Phoenix has resulted in less and less minutes for Tyus Jones and his production has suffered a lot. His playing time has dropped to 23 from 30 minutes during the last 2 weeks and is ranked outside the top300 in per game value for that time period. I think despite his good early season production, he is moving to be a drop and if nothing changes in the coming weeks, that is exactly the move you should make (74% owned).
