Loyalty is a rare commodity in our days but I was not prepared to see the following clip from the Warriors – Kings game from last week. Maybe it is a sign of the Warriors dynasty ending, maybe it is just a very well prepared kid going on a basketball game…
The kid was ready for anything, including a major loss of the Warriors so he was swift to act and switch his allegiance, presumably to secure a jersey or an autograph from the Sacramento players.
Regarding last week’s suggestions, Goga Bitadge was par for the course with his usual rebounds and blocks, while Luke Kennard did miss a game but was productive in the others and should continue to be featured with Memphis shorthanded.

Shaedon Sharpe: Something seems to be clicking with Shaedon Sharpe during the last weeks and he has been thus rewarded with more playing time, climbing from 31.6 to 35.8 minutes during his last 6 games. His scoring and almost all of his counting stats are up and with Portland playing 3 more games this week, it is the perfect time to swoop him from the waiver wire to see if he can maintain his hot streak, as there are not a lot of options with his scoring upside in the free agents pool (45% owned).
Toumani Camara: Similarly to Sharpe, Toumani Camara has 3 more games this week but provides a different statistical distribution of fantasy stats, focused more on defense. His playing time has also increased as of late and he is averaging 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 12.6 points in his last 5 games. As long as he is starting for Portland and playing such heavy minutes he is worth a stream in weeks with a lot of games (19% owned).
Sell
Jusuf Nurkic: Jusuf Nurkic already had a down season, with reduced playing time and only rebounds as his sole positive fantasy category, but now he has also been demoted to a bench role, as Phoenix try to shake things up to improve their record. He was already ranked outside the top190 in per game value and with 16.6 minutes of playing time after his demotion, I fear he is more of a liability for your fantasy team and not worth waiting for a potential trade that might restore him to a starting position (81% owned).
I am at a loss as to how to handle Middleton. Thought second unit might actually be ok for him. No trade market for him – I have tried.
In first place so I can be patient. Best on the WW: Hield, Pope, Cason. Hold or drop to stream? Team below for context:
Jokic, Allen, Duren, Goga
Jalen Will, N Powell, OG, Dray, TDJ, Middleton,
Booker, Maxey, FVV, Giddy,
IR: Ayo
It’s a difficult situation with Middleton. It does seem that his minutes will be limited going forward but he can be useful even with those minutes. Not really interested in those WW guys for him. Although you will have a decision to make when Ayo returns.
Agree. If he has a few good games his trade value could increase in a 2-1 but for now I will hold. Seems like someone is hurt every week anyway so my IR slot may be useful when Ayo eventually returns. I think Ayo is in a prime spot once Zach is dealt.
Are your IR rules strict or more loose? If they are the latter, you can indeed cycle a player there most nights.
