Let’s be honest… We were all watching March Madness!  Ugh, I knew going with my heart over my gut for UNC was wrong…  They were so close!

But in the NBA’s only game last night, both of the Pacers’ C.J.s went nuts against the Bucks!  C.J. Miles at the starting 2 went 26/3/1/1/0 on 7-14 FG (4-8 3PTM 8-10 FT) and C.J. Watson as the combo G 6th man went for 23/7/7/2/0 with a crazy 13-15 FT.  Watson’s best game ever!  Was even better than that IBM supercomputer on Jeopardy.  When it missed one I knew, I was like, “Maybe I’m like Deckard and unknowingly a Replicant!”  Rodney Stuckey missed his third straight with a calf strain, and while C.J. Miles has gotten a slight uptick in shots taken, he’s 100% ThrAGNOF and reliant on those treys.  So if Stuckey keeps being stucky on the bench, I’m actually pretty interested in Watson as a stream.  23, 11, 23 are his points the last three games with 5, 2, 7 dimes.  The Pacers are off until Sunday, but if you need a decent grab to round out your semi-final week, I’d certainly pull a Sherlock Holmes and rely on Watson.  Here’s what else went down in last night’s game:

Roy Hibbert – The second half collapse v2.0!  Fallout 4: Roy Hibbert’s Fantasy Wasteland.  I’d play that video game!  It’s just empty desertscape you roam around…

David West – Sat with dat illness, giving Luis Scola a start for a meh-15/9/2/1/1.  I guess that’s pretty good if you don’t mind uglying up your lineup!

George Hill – Man, he’s just been out of his mind!  24/3/5/1/0 on 6 treys.  I want to love him so much for next year!  But alas, we cannot…  I’d be all on him like a XXX movie, but the PG13 is going to tween him!

Michael Carter-Williams – A lot better than last time out!  13/5/8/4/0, only the 2 TO, but let’s play the “where did MCW hurt you game?!”!  Well, I gave it away by not talking the %s…  3-11 from the field and 7-11 FOR A SLURPEE!  I mean, 7-11 at the stripe.  MCW really hurt me this year…  It hurt, MCW!  Raw athletic ability and no improvement!  Won’t be on any of my teams next year…

Khris Middleton Damn you ThrAGNOF version of Middletit!  17/3/1/0/0 with 3 TO and a couple of treys.  Sheesh, did The Duchess and C.J. Miles switch bodies?!  Those lines should be the other way around!

O.J. Mayo – Returned from what seems like a few years off with his hamstring issue for 13 minutes of 3/1/4 with a trey and reportedly looked good.  Deep leaguers that have barren wires and need some 3s/dimes should keep a keen eye.

Zaza Pachulia – 12/6/3/2/0 on 4-7 FG and 4-4 FT.  Nothing huge, but keeping the good times rollin’!

Ersan Ilyasova – Best for last!  The Six-Foot-Two Turkey has grown two more inches!  Six-Foot-Four!  34/6/2/2/0 on a red hot 12-14 FG (5-6 3PTM 5-6 FT), all without a single TO.  Ya know, he wasn’t healthy last year and was in a fight for minutes and fought injuries again this year, but has gone bonkers the last 9 games.  I wonder where he’ll go in next year’s drafts…  I could imagine he’d be an unsexy sleeper, and one I might hop on.  Riding that Six-Foot-Four Turkey like a rodeo clown!

Streamers/Cheap Daily League Picks:

Greivis Vasquez (13% owned) – I know, I know, I already used him once this week, but General G stroked 6 treys in that one!  Kyle Lowry is almost certainly out again, so I’m using The Twerp where I can.

Langston Galloway (23% owned) – I have a hard time calling Galloway a hold in any format given the Poppycockers’ woes, but with Alexey Shved down, there’s really no one else the Knicks have to give G minutes to except Shane Larkin and The Harlem Renaissance.  Should have a great opportunity tonight vs. the C’s.

A little bit shorter of a Daily Notes for this morning, but blame it on NBA scheduling!  Good luck to everyone in their semi-finals and we’ll see you on Monday, Razzball Nation!
