@Dante Green: My favorite leagues are all keepers. The deeper the better. There’s so much more to think about than in a redraft and after playing in the REL for 2 years I think all keepers should be auction as well. I guess the biggest difference is in a redraft you are always trying to win now. In a keeper, at some point, you inevitably have to decide if your better off trying to win this year or next.

Leads to some odd trades, I traded Marc Gasol for an injured Sullinger at the trade deadline in the REL. I didn’t think I could win, I wasn’t going to keep Gasol at his price and Sullinger was nice and cheap for next year and beyond. The guy who got Gasol won the league but he lost a cheap, young piece of his future. Also, I actually turned down Jimmy Butler $17 (when he was healthy) straight up for my Wiggins $38. It was a tough call for sure and I’m still not sure if I made the right choice or not there. Much easier decision in a redraft.

@Dante Green: @Slim: Yeah same with me. REL is my fav league as well.

Agree with Slim, the biggest thing for a keeper for me is have it an auction. That way you can get everyone you for sure want. I think a big factor for keeper leagues is owning you guys you like to follow, which makes you get more invested in it. Why I bought Kawhi in our REL for a semi-high price the first year, but the value looks great now.

@Michael: Those are 3 pretty good ones. The only other guy that I think is worth considering is Drummond. Lillard for sure, so 2 of Noel, Anteok, and Drummond. I’m going to assume this is H2H cause if it’s Roto then it’s pretty easy to leave Drummond out. I’m not entirely sure JB will agree but in H2H I’m going to go with Lillard, Noel, Drummond and punt FT%. Anteok was good and all but losing the 3s hurts alot and he’ll have to deal with sharing the ball more with Jabari next year. Maybe Middleton goes elsewhere but I think he’ll probably be back and cutting into Anteoks usage too.

@Michael: @Slim: Yo! Yeah I agree with Lillard and Noel as for sures. Drummo vs. Anteok, ya know I’m gonna go with Drummo as well, I like the big men there. Nice group to start with! I bet Noel gets buzzier and buzzier
