We’ve waited a month for the next big domino to fall in the NBA and it finally happened!  Kyrie Irving‘s trade request has been granted, as Koby Altman moved the former #1 overall pick for Isaiah ThomasJae CrowderAnte Zizic and the 2018 first round of the Brooklyn Nets unprotected.  Today, Tehol and I break down the effects of the trade.  What does this do to both teams now and in the future?  What does it do to the fantasy values of the players on Cleveland and Boston?  Does any of it matter with Golden State looming in the NBA Finals?  How bad is Brooklyn going to be this year?  All of that and more in the latest edition of the Razzball Basketball Podcast brought to you by League Safe!

Hi Viz, I got some tough decision and need your advice. I have the following players in a dynasty league:
Yogi Ferrell, Bobby Portis, Ramon Sessions

But I am also interested in FAs:
    Milos Teodosic, Marco Belinelli

I am new to dynasty league. Who should I add and drop? Thanks for the help.

@Wen: I probably need some more information on your league settings to give you a definitive answer so instead, I’ll write something brief about each guy and you can either get back to me with how many teams are in your league, what categories etc. or just make the decision on your own. I don’t care much for Belinelli in fantasy but the other 4 could be decent options. Because of how bad the Bulls may be, I like Portis a decent amount as a deep league option. Teodosic could be sneaky good for the Clippers this year. Considering the level of these other players you are debating on keeping, I would really want to grab him. Ferrell is going to take a step back with Dennis Smith taking over. That said, he’s not a bad bottom end option since he should still get minutes. Sessions has never really done much for me so I want to see how preseason goes and what his role will be before I commit to him being a fantasy factor this year.

@Viz: Hi Viz, it is a standard 9 CAT H2H league with 20 teams. I also have Bogdan Bogdanovic at the end of my roster. It seems like it would be good to drop Ramon Sessions for Milos Teodosic?

@Wen: Gotcha, so a very deep league. Nice move with Bogdan, I think he can surprise some people this year. Yes, I would grab Teodosic over Sessions.
