    @AL KOHOLIC: As long as you’ve got Hayes’ porkchop legs, sausage arms and guts harder than tommy gun bullets, you might just have it coming to you.

    @Adam: time to cut losses with Toney Douglas, Arron Afflalo, Jared Dudley and Devin Harris? These guys are just terrible. Also what is goign on with Elton Brand?

    @ringo: See Friday’s post.

    @Jeremy: Richardson, unless we find out later in the afternoon that Augustin’s tweaked ankle will keep him out. Right now, it looks like he’s a go.

    @Zebo: Yeah, some of those guys (and many others) aren’t going to pan out. The problem is, there are a ton of guys undeperforming in the first week. I wouldn’t dump your entire bench, maybe just the guys you feel most confident won’t bounce back. Re: Brand – he’s out of shape. No lift.

    @tony starks: Whoops. Uploaded the wrong version. You’re right, and I hate you for that. Fix coming later. FIXED!

    I hope Hayes didn’t have to ask for the raise, and the Kings gave it to him freely. What’s up with all the heart issues this year? Is there a new heart problem test in the NBA? I’m sure there have been at least 3 (Jeff Green being the worst) who have had concerns over their hearts.

    @Migs: I’d also be interested in knowing if the heart issues are connected with the shortened preseason and the general lack of conditioning. The hectic preseason might, at least, explain why the Kings’ medical staff got it wrong with Hayes the first time around.
