Probably the most frustrating part of fantasy sports is drafting a stud and watching him languish on the sidelines due to injury. The good news is, some major stars are due back soon. The bad news is, some major stars are not. Let’s swallow some medicine and see who’s going to disappoint:
Andrew Bogut - Set to come back this week, but last week he received Regenokine injections, which is designed to diminish swelling. It takes his blood and turns it into a protein paste which is then injected into the problem area. It’s also how stuffing is made.
Steve Nash – Supposed to return soon, but it has not been said when. Lakers are home on Tuesday, then they go on a three game road trip. I figure November 27, when they return home, would be the latest on when he should be back. My guess is Saturday in Dallas.
Kevin Love – He will have his hand x-rayed tomorrow, and presuming it comes back well, he said he is targeting an early to mid December return date.
Hedo Turkoglu – As mentioned this morning, he is getting (already got?) his hand re-cast. The time table for his return has been pushed back until after Christmas.
Andrew Bynum – Again, as mentioned this morning, his knee condition is now present in both knees. He probably won’t be back until January. Rumor is that he hurt his other knee while bowling. No word on what score he finished with.
Kawhi Leonard – Won’t be back before November 28.
Kyle Lowry – He has a bruised cuboid bone, which may have something to do with Nintendo. He is expected to be out for two weeks until his ankle is better.

How bad is the injury with Lowry? Do you think he will come back 100 percent?
@Jeff, bruised bone probably isn’t that bad, provided he lets it heal. I’m not a doctor, though; I only pretend to be one, like the guy who operated a dental van.
should I trade marcus thornton and joe johnson for demarcus cousins and george hill? or try and get tp instead of george hill?
@jleeishere, without knowing your team, league depth, type of league, etc., seems okay.
Forgetting someone? Like John Wall? Washington has been pretty tight lipped
@DCunited, I haven’t come across any new information to share. The latest news is that there is no news.
Oh noes! Kyrie is down! There goes my roto teams, with Kyrie and Lowry in the infirmary I’m out of assists, maybe permanently. Fudgecicles.
@In_ertiatic, on the plus side, you still have YOUR health.
Bogut to return this week? He’s on the wire in a deep league but I can’t find any info on him coming back.
@SmokeTNT, he was not set to play until after the team’s road trip, which is next week. However, now I’m seeing reports they may hold him back a bit more. If you’re in a deep league and you have a turd on your bench, he’s probably still worth grabbing now.
Would u trade grevis Vasquez for nene in anticipation of his return?
@Bostonian, without knowing the size or type of your league and your roster, sure, he should be back in 3 weeks.
