Like previously noted, we had a draft in the Yahoo! Friends and Family League. I could go through and critique all the teams, but that doesn’t sound like something a friend or family member should do! So instead, I reached out to the managers for their responses. Shockingly, some wrote back! For reference, here’s a […]

Injury Update: Down Goes Jimmy!
January 20, 2026 | 2025-26 Fantasy Basketball, Fantasy Basketball Strategy |by: kelder
Jimmy Butler fell awkwardly yesterday, and the worst fears of Warriors fans, fantasy owners, and the general basketball aficionado were confirmed this morning. The ACL, which was intact before the fall, is now not intact. The 36 year old Butler will be sidelined into next season. There’s no replacing his 20 point, 6 rebound, 5 […]

After sorting through the latest injury updates — so long, Jalen Johnson; we’ll remember you fondly next draft season — Joel and Ossie break out the crystal ball and try to gaze beyond the trade deadline in search of future value. Are there tank commanders in Brooklyn or Charlotte that are worth stashing? What would […]

Buy/Sell: The Other Joker Level
November 13, 2024 | 2024-25 Fantasy Basketball, Fantasy Basketball Buy/Sell | 2 Commentsby: Kostas
With 12 games played for most NBA teams and 1/10 of the season already behind us, we can make some initial observation about this fantasy season. One easy one is that Nikola Jokic is playing on another fantasy level this season and is comfortably and by a margin ranked first in value. And how could […]

Welcome back to the third post of this mini-series as we take a moving snapshot in time, even if that sounds like an oxymoron. If you couldn’t already tell, the Warriors (13-14) have had some ups and downs this season. They’re not where they want to be, whether it’s the Draymond Green suspension or the lessening of Klay’s once authoritative shooting power. But all is not lost for the team by the Bay, in scoring or threat level. Players […]

December 20, 2023 | 2023-24 Fantasy Basketball, Fantasy Basketball Buy/Sell |by: Kostas
You know my love for NBA stats so it is once again fun stats time and we move to Portland as Stephen Curry failed to hit a three pointer in the Warriors match against the Trailblazers. That ended his streak of 268 consecutive games of hitting at least a triple, which is obviously the current […]

December 13, 2023 | 2023-24 Fantasy Basketball, Fantasy Basketball Buy/Sell |by: Kostas
I always like humorous interactions that result from the NBA ecosystem and one such occurrence was made possible because Steve Kerr complained about the loud music the Phoenix Suns played during the game. And I quote “In this building, you can’t hear anything because it’s like a club, it’s like a South Beach club out […]
