After Joel allowed me to rant like a psycho last week, it’s only fair to make this week his show. But before I handed over the reigns, I espoused wisdoms from RZA and how they can make us better fantasy players. Joel then focused on the Minnesota Timberwolves, in particular Rudy Gobert. He also dives into how to value young players and organizations that hinder or allow them to prosper.

Trading has been a strong suit over the years but this year has been a head scratcher. Would like your opinion on each of these please in a 9 cat league. Please pick a side (or toss up) regardless of team build. Just go with your personal valuation. Thanks!

1. BLo or Ingram
2. Ingram or Sabonis
3. Rozier or Middleton
4. Embiid and Portis for Dame and Russ
5. Wiggins or Grant

Probably unfair without team build but wanted to see your thoughts on value. What this tells me is to be patient as I did four of the trades you picked. The fifth one I hesitated on (his Sabonis for my Ingram early in the year) and it was not offered again once Sabonis got rolling. Perhaps a missed opportunity. Everyone has injuries so part of my challenge is that I am going through it right now with Wiggins, Ingram, Maxey, Suggs all out.

Dang, two questions:

1) Fultz. Dimes should be one of his strengths, but how likely do you consider the scenario that this Orlando team has just kind of distributed playmaking duties on an attack-by-attack basis, thereby reducing possibly everyone’s assist ceiling?

2) This is for the 18t points league. My man Ziaire Williams finally returned. Would you consider dropping Jalen Williams for him? Solid FGA and boards in 19 min first time around.

While we’re at it, I also wonder quite how good Poku can be in points leagues? Minutes are all over the place, as is production. But some things, like the defensive stats for one, seem to favour cat leagues.

Aside from Williams, I also have Nembhard who’s an interesting pick. Not sure what’s your verdict on him? (I really should do less of these thread-type-things and get my thoughts into one concise comment, my bad

I like Nembhard but the huge game was with Hali and TJ out. He will have a role but probably more in a secondary capacity. Will cede some time as well when Duarte returns

I think he’s better in points for sure. OKC is tough though because they have so many guys and the playing time matrix changes

Good question on Fultz. It’s possible it plays out like that. I still like the upside of Fultz though. Think we need more data to make a more informed decision.

I’m a Ziare guy so…

Yeah, I kinda am as well, did draft the dude before he went MIA. Would you prefer to drop Jalen before Nembhard? It’s anybody’s guess, really, but there aren’t that many PG-eligible guys on the wire so I’m guessing I’d rather keep.

Thinking I can hold Poku for now, but if MPJ is coming back eventually, I can move him out for an IR stash if he’s still not producing.

Defo giving Fultz a chance, agreed with the sample size issues!

Tough. I probably choose Jalen over Nembhard

Hey Son! How’s things?

A roster dilemma.

This is for 10 team H2H. Got rob Williams returning shortly so I can’t make any moves once he’s marked healthy, so just about last call. I was wondering about what’s your opinion on Nance and whether he’s a good idea to get? Looks solid and fits with my idea of hunting assists, but I already have many bigs and he’s possibly not optimally used in a punt fg team?

Currently:

Dame Rozier TreJ Fultz
Hield Huerter
PG Jaden
JabariS Kuz KP
Embiid Sengun Rob Will (IR)

What about Royce O’Neale and Dort? Holding on to Fultz and Jaden by sheer willpower right now

I don’t think any of them are must holds. Go forth and stream away
