AyYyO!

Listening to the pod as I type this.

Head is still a bit fizzled after yesterday, as it is every year on trade deadline day. One of my favorite NBA days of the year.

Had 2 of my guys get moved –

Delon (booooo) & Wendell (wooooo)

What are you thinking of them on this roster ?

12 team – 15 man rosters deep – H2H – cats

Curry / FVV / Fox / Conley / Schroder / Poole
George / Covington / Delon / Nance
Capela / Plumlee / Wendell / Wiseman / Horford

Few things noted –

Traded Collins for Fox around all star break.

Poole was picked up when Curry went down.

Is Horford or Delon a drop ?

Best available FAs – Hart, Poku, Diablo, Gafford, Otto

Meh.

AyYyO!

Lots of action for sure yesterday.

Poor Delon will never get full run. Probably won’t get much more than 20 mpg. He’s proven he can produce in that limited amount of time but will be difficult.

WCJ has all the opportunity. I’m optimistic but there is still some uncertainty.

Horford is probably a drop. If you stomach the volatility of fg%, I’d scoop poku. Should get plenty of run

Ended up dumping both Horford & Delon.

Over it.

Nabbed Poku & Hart. Screw it man, Felt weird dropping those 2 guys, but I’m just here living in the moment. Boards are big in this 13 cat league & I like Hart for that reason. Poku is the wild card.

Hope all is well with you my guy. Finished up the new podcast, Great stuff as always.

Good luck my man. Forgot about boards in your league so for sure hart works well for you. Hope poku balls out

Appreciate the kind words on the pod. I’m flying blind there and living in the moment like you

Hi Son,

I have a trade deadline coming up, and since I can’t keep Brogdon and I’m out of it I want to trade him. It’s a $200 auction keeper league. Offers I have:

I get Garland (keep at $10 next year) and Joe Harris (keep at $11 next year)

Or

I get Kemba (keep at $14 next year)

I don’t really love any of those guys at those prices, but what do you think?

Alternatively, I could try to get Boucher (keep at $11 next year), though he’s been underwhelming recently too.

I have also received a few trade offers for Jokic, who I can keep at $66 next year. I don’t think I’m going to move him, but wanted a second opinion:

Option 1 – Harden (can keep at $67) and Kemba (can keep at $14).
I could possibly have Hayward (keep at $20) or Boucher (keep at $11) included too

Option 2 – Wiseman (can keep at $18 this year), Bazley (can keep at $6), Vassel (can keep at $10), and a few NCAA picks

Option 3- hold him

I’m leaning heavily to option 3 given how good Jokic has been and his price. Agreed?

Thanks!

Thanks, would you rather have Garland or Boucher at the same price for next year?

Do you think Kemba is worth keeping at $14 at all?

And agreed on Jokic, with our auction league it gets progressively more expensive to hold him, but I don’t think I’m getting nearly enough value in cheap contracts to justify moving him right now.

Different note, but I have Porzingis too and can hold for $40 next year. In a $200, 15 roster spot league do you think I keep at that price? I can keep Lebron at $44, so between Lebron, Porzingis, and Jokic not sure I can justify keeping all three.

I could trade Porzingis for Garland and Harris and an option to keep JJJ at a TBD price above $15, and then get Kemba for Brogdon. But I think I’d rather have Porzingis at $40 and Garland.

Thanks Son. Last (I think) question- Boucher at $11 or Kemba at $14 for next year?

Another option came up here because there was a salary cap problem with an earlier offer. I was offered Garland ($10 next year), Joe Harris ($11), JJJ (basically a topper right, not a set value), and Lowry ($24 next year), for

Brogdon (can’t keep) and Porzingis ($40 to keep, but health concerns as noted), Barnes ($6 to keep next year).

Or Brogdon for Kemba ($14). And maybe Boucher ($11) too, if that would make a difference.

Seems like Lowry and Garland (with the option to keep Harris if I want and the JJJ topper) is the better deal.

So two questions:

1) which option above do you choose?

2) has Barnes played well enough to be kept at $6 next year?

Thanks!
