I would like to get your opinion on something.  It’s been bothering JB and I to the point that we finally made a friendly wager on it.  By friendly I don’t mean without a consequence.  If somehow I’m wrong I have to finally teach JB how to play, I’m Blue, with a didgeridoo.  In public I laugh at him for liking that song but between you and me…  That’s my Jam!  There’s a reason he knows I can teach it to him.  But that’s not important cause he’s not going to win our bet.  When I win he’s going to finally teach me the one true Carolina secret.  I’m going to finally learn how much vinegar it takes to ruin otherwise perfect BBQ.  You would think if you just pour a bottle of vinegar in with the sauce you would be done.  Oh no, It’s far more complicated than that.  The trick is that perfect amount to lure them in just enough to try a bite because as the old southern adage goes, “The first time you taste Nort Carlina BBQ, will also be the second.”   I trust you can now see the urgency by which we need this settled.  It really is a simple question.  I’m surprised we’ve had such heated debates.  OK, so assuming Bigfoot is real.  Obviously that isn’t exactly a stretch of the imagination.  Would seeing him in the wild be enough to convince you to just give up your lifes work as a cryptozoologist?  I know right!  Wouldn’t it just further the drive to explore every fuzzy photoshopped picture that gets posted in a random message board?  I’ll let that sink in for sec, until you realize just how long you’ve actually spent thinking about it.

Since I have no doubt that is now settled and I will soon know the Carolina secret I can queue up more questions of quantity.  I’m hoping I can soon solve the age old mystery of would only one alien mothership really be enough to conquer earth?  I scoff at alien invaders, Pfaff. That’s the sound I make when I scoff and when I sew.  Or how about if Nessie was caught, fried, and if I ate nothing else for 6 weeks would I be getting enough vitamin B-12 in my diet?  But the answer to that is for my cryptozoologist weekly post.  It’s over at IWishRichardJeffersonWasACryptid.Org.  It’s a nonprofit.  I think we’re down for maintenance though, sorry about that.  Since Razzball never goes down I’m going to write here instead.  Here’s a few players where the question is, are they getting enough?  Umm… Minutes, not vitamin B-12.

Marcus Morris – PF – Pho – Constantly referred to as ‘the other Morris twin’ Marcus has started making headway as a consistent bench option for the Suns.  At only 6% owned he somehow qualifies here.  6%?  His per game ranking is about 100 in only 23 minutes.  His stats are just like his brothers but with an extra 3 PTM per game.  Markieff Morris is 39% owned with an extra 3 minutes per game of playing time.  Does Markieff own 33% of the leagues on Yahoo and added himself but not his brother?  I guess I have more faith in Marcus than his own brother.  If your in one of these leagues where Markieff added himself but not his brother then please add Marcus and defeat his brother with the extra 3 pointer per game.  There is no question the 23 minutes Marcus is currently getting makes him playable in 12 team leagues.  With a good chance for more playing time as the year progresses Marcus is worth rostering in most leagues.

Jeremy Lamb – SG/SF – OKC – For Jeremy Lamb the talk has always been about potential.  After struggling at times as a freshman at UConn, Jeremy had a sophomore year that showed across the board improvements.  Enough improvement that he was drafted 12th overall by Houston a few months after his 20th birthday.  A few months later Lamb was traded to OKC as part of the James Harden deal but couldn’t crack his new teams rotation.  With half the year spent in the DLeague Jeremy was able to get consistent playing time and he played well scoring 21 PPG on 49% shooting.  Now in his 2nd year as a  professional and at the ripe old age of 21, Lamb’s potential is becoming realized.  At only 20 minutes per game, Lamb is just outside a 12-team leagues value, currently ranked around 150.  Why can’t he get more minutes if he’s playing so well?  The problem is the logjam for minutes on a team as deep as OKC and it would take multiple injuries for Lamb to get significantly more playing time.  I do not see that happening this year.  If 20 minutes per game it is then is that enough?  As a streaming option in even 12 team leagues Jeremy Lamb can help with 3’s and points, with a good chance for a steal and a block in 2 games.

Tim Hardaway Jr – SG – NYK – My favorite player to comment about.  I wrote about him here earlier in the year.  The difference between then and now is that he is playing better than I anticipated.  With 30 minutes his 3’s and points would be a big asset to both the Knicks and our fantasy teams.  He’s even shown some steals and blocks recently.  Alas 30 minutes per game still isn’t happening.  Is 20 minutes enough for our teams?  Only in 16 team leagues and larger is he worth rostering.  The problem is that he hasn’t shown consistent multi-cat production like Lamb has.  If there is a change and Hardaway plays 30+ minutes consistently then I believe he will be a good option in a 12 team leagues.  When?  I thought it would have happened by now so I’m not feeling too confident about that prediction.  As I look into my crystal ball it is becoming clearer.  I see know.  Yeah sorry, it’s saying last week too.  I still have Miss Cleo on speed dial.  It’s busy, I’m going to have to get back to you.
