Razzball Nation!  We’re here on a special weekend wrap-up where Slim (this is JB speaking) got to the action and JB just snuck in the beginning.  And snuck in the end!  I’m like Brad Pitt at the Oscars.  “Wait, why is he winning best picture!  So confused right now…”  Tomorrow I’ll proudly illustrate what I did over the weekend, but a nice defining touch hoops-wise was another great one from my boy Mike Scott, who while posting 10-teamer-worth lines, isn’t helping the Hawks win…  And that’s a problem!  Especially with Paul Millsap assumedly back sometime soon this week.  But I thought Gravity mighta gotten best picture too!  After a really rough send-off last Monday, went bonkers on the Suns for 20/5/2/3/0 with three treys and not a single TO.  I bet Philly sports fans wish they had no TO.  BOOM!  Double sports joke.  The main number that got my emoji tats all excited was the 40 mins played.  Millsap is going to travel with the Hawks as they migrate on a 5-game road trip, but very easily could miss the first few making Scott a solid short-term add.  So beam him aboard, win a big week as we near playoff time, and don’t forget to yell over the music if those pompous mf#@*$ng PA guys at the Oscars wanna condescend you by playing the stock classical through the loudspeaker!  And here’s Slim with what he saw over the weekend:

Gordon Hayward – Let’s start this off right. Hayward with a big 18/7/7/2/2 rainbow with 4 3s and only 1 TO vs Cleveland. After a month of January in which Gordo shot 50%, February wasn’t nearly as kind as he only shot 34%. I’m still buying the labradoodle king as a top 50 player if anyone is selling.

Trey Burke – Shot only 2-fer-9 from the field and finished with a line of 4/5/3/1 and no 3s in only 24 min. Granted it was a blowout but this has to be rock bottom. Doesn’t it?

Marvin Williams – Did I call him a streamer? Kind of, I said it would take some big ‘ol cajones to stream him and I hope you don’t. 5/2/1 with a 3. Enes Kanter and Jeremy Evans weren’t much better either so there’s that.

Tristan Thompson Another of my streamers. 18/14/2 on 9-fer-13 shooting vs the Jazz. That’s a good game for Tristan. No 3s, Steals, or Blocks makes it simply an OK game for us. Then went 18/8 on 8-fer-10 shooting vs Memphis. Still no steals or blocks but he’s not too bad as long as he’s shooting a good FG%.

Spencer Hawes – 13/16/2/1/2 with a 3 on 6-fer-12 shooting on Friday then 13/4/3/0/1 with 3 3s but only 5-fer-12 in a tough Saturday matchup vs Memphis. I imagine Varejao will cut into his production eventually but I’m not running to the hills to drop Spencer anytime soon. (+1 double entendre point!)

Kyrie Irving A solid yet unspectacular 21/10/12/0/1 with a 3 and 5 TOs trip-dub on Friday, followed that up with 28/1/3/3/0 with 3 3s 3 TOs Saturday. Yep, still a top 5 PG.

Anderson Varejao – Says he’ll return this week but won’t be 100%. My guess is 20-25 borderline 12er worthy minutes, similar to what he was giving when Andrew Bynum was around.

Zach Randolph – Managed only 26 minutes on Friday vs OKC and went 13/10/0/1/0 but came back strong on Saturday with 23/14/3/4/0 on 11-fer-17 shooting. Then again that was against Cleveland, who most bigs dominate.

Marc Gasol – The rebounding is still down but everything else is rounding into form. 17/3/4/1/1 on 7-fer-10 shooting on Friday and 22/8/6/0/1 on 8-fer-14 shooting on Saturday. If there was a buy low window it appears to be closing. Who left the window open anyway? There’s like 2 feet of snow out there and your letting all the heat out.

Mike Conley Terrible game on Friday. 1-fer-10, 5 TOs, but did at least manage 9 assists to help out a little. Much better on Saturday though with a line of 22/1/7/2/1 with 2 3s and 8-fer-14 shooting. Conley has been slow in returning to form post injury so hopefully Saturdays game is a sign of things to come.

Courtney Lee – Still starting, still kind of boring to own. 10/4/1/1/0 with 2 3s vs OKC then 19/4/1/1/2 with 5 3s vs Cleveland. With 34 minutes in both games and Tony Allen not able to reclaim his starting job Lee makes for a solid streamer moving forward.

Tony Allen – 18 minutes vs OKC, 25 minutes vs Cleveland and unownable in a 12er or less. Then again he was borderline as a starter too so why am I even still writing… moving on.

Steven Adams Another streamer call of mine. 7/5/0/0/2 in 25 minutes vs Memphis isn’t all that special but with Kendrick Perkins done for the year Adams should see 25 minutes nightly and average somewhere around 8/8/1/1/2 or just outside being 12-teamer worthy.

Thabo Sefolosha – Strained his calf and his house is now being picketed by PETA. MRI results are pending. The takeaway here being that…

Reggie Jackson Should see 30+ minutes regularly as long as Thabo is out. On Friday Reggie went 14/2/3/2/0 with 2 3s on only 5-fer-12 shooting in 34 minutes. I don’t expect too many assists though since Reggie will mostly be play SG.

Andre Iguodala – 7/5/3/3/0 with no 3s and 2 poor percents. I’m done with Iggy, I would sell him for anyone in the top 100, maybe even a few guys outside of it.

David Lee – Only 24 minutes but the Friday game vs NY was over by halftime and I’m sure Lee would have returned if it was close. 10/6/0/2/1 is a solid line in so few minutes.

Andrew Bogut – Only managed 13 minutes in the Friday blowout and looked good going 6/7/1. Bogut should be fine moving forward.

Carmelo Anthony – Still a top 10 play but 7-fer-26 FGs is a killer. 23/16/2/1 with a 3, so I can forgive him.  8-fer-17 and 23/2/3 in a blowout on Sunday.  Forgiven.

Raymond Felton – On the other hand I can not forgive. 8/2/3/1/0 with a 3 and 6 TOs on Friday and 8/2/4 without a 3 on Sunday. That’s no good. He should be on the free agent list in 12ers or less.

Tim Hardaway Jr. – Yet another of my streaming options. 22/2/0/2/0 with 4 3s and 2 good percents in 41 min off the bench Friday, 14/2/1 with 2 3s in 26 minutes Sunday.  Iman Shumpert returned and started but he doesn’t deserve his own blurb, all he does is hurt Hardaway.  Timmy is still just ThrAGNOF but he’s a pretty good one.

Josh McRoberts – Another streamer call, I guess I had a few. 4/4/10/3/2 and only 1 TO, hey that’s a rainbow. 0-fer-4 for 3s is unfortunate. This could have been a monster game. Still that’s a very useful line in any league.

Gary Neal – Got into the lineup with his new team and 15/2/1 with a 3 in 24 minutes. Those minutes came at the expense of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist who didn’t score in his 23 minutes.

Kemba Walker – 11/2/4/1/0 with a 3 on 3-fer-15 shooting. There’s a lot of inconsistency with Kemba but after a week it tends to look pretty good.

Tim Duncan – How the 73-year old Duncan is still able to post lines like Friday’s 17/16/6/1/1 is beyond me but as we all know he won’t play every game from here on out. It’s been a fun ride but he should really be sold before it’s too late.

Kawhi Leonard Finally back after being out for over a month and putting up monster lines. I know he’s not a big scorer but 12/8/1/3/2 with 2 3s is why we drafted him in the first place.

Tony Parker – Says he’d play Sunday and viola!  22/3/7.  This would mark a fully healthy San Antonio team. If you were holding any of the the replacements then it’s about time to move on.

Jimmy Butler If only he could stay healthy. Maybe it’s the 45 minutes he played on Friday that’s the culprit. 19/7/3/1/1 with a 3, no TOs, but 6-fer-11 FTs which to me look like an outlier.  19/6/4/3 on Sunday but once again only 9-14 FTs.  The real takeaway though is all the attempts, usually means he’s being aggressive.  Top 50 the rest of the way? Yeah, or at least close to it.

Carlos Boozer – Looks old, losing crunch time minutes to Taj and rightfully so. Friday’s 9/6/1/0/0 is no longer looking like an outlier. There are plenty of bigs I’d rather have. Like his teammate…

Taj Gibson One of my favorites this year. 32 bench minutes on Friday yielding 20/15/1/1/0, which means I can live with the 4 TOs.  He only gave us 13/5/2/0/1 in Sundays blowout but then again it was a blowout.  Last year Taj shot a career high 68% FTs, so far this year that sits at 74.6%. So good.

D.J. Augustin – So not. 9/0/3/0/0 with 2 3s and 2 TOs on Friday in only 25 bench minutes. DJ is marred in a bad slump and it’s costing him minutes. If you wanted to move on I won’t argue but on Sunday he got hot with 21 4th quarter points and maybe another hot streak is coming.

Mike Dunleavy – This streamer call turned out well. 16/8/4/2/0 with 4 3s, 2 good percents, and only 1 TO. Gotta love the 42 minutes. And then on Sunday he went 10/7/3/1 with a 3.  I’m surprised Dunleavy has managed to stay healthy but while he’s healthy he’s very playable.

Anthony Davis So the Brow hurt his shoulder and was questionable to play on Friday.  All he did was 32/9/2/3/1 on 14-fer-18 shooting vs Pheonix.  I doubt that surprises anyone but Saturday’s 8/4/0/0/2 on 1-fer-6 shooting should.  For now I’m just gonna say that we can ignore that little guy.

Alexis Ajinca – One of the hotter pickups of the week quickly turned into one of the hotter drops after Friday’s 4/2/0/0/2 in 15 minute dud. However now he’s back to being a hot add after an 11/10/1/1/2 showing in 29 minutes vs the Clippers. I find it difficult to recommend him with so much inconsistency.

Brian Roberts – I was wrong on this streamer.  Sure Jrue Holiday is done for the year but Roberts isn’t getting big run. 21 minutes on Friday yielded 7/2/4/1/0 with no 3s and 3 TOs, 23 minutes on Saturday and he only managed 4/1/2 with no 3s and 2 TOs but that’s because…

Tyreke Evans – Is running the point. Friday’s 14/5/4/0/0 with a 3 and Saturday’s 22/9/5/1/0 with 2 3s in 40 minutes has me thinking he’s finally healthy and about to go on a nice run.

Eric Gordon Friday’s game was nice. 21/2/4/2/0 with 3 3s but Saturdays 1-fer-13 “performance” and a line of 2/4/4/1/0 makes Gordon look like a run of the mill ThrAGNOF.

P.J.Tucker – It’s difficult to trust Tucker from game to game but I called him a weekend streamer and Friday was merely OK. 8/2/0/2/1 with 2 3s is still pretty useful.

Goran Dragic – I hear Dragic is pretty good. 40/3/5/0/0 with 3 3s and 2 good percents was a good game.

Channing Frye – On the other hand had went 8/4/1/0/0 with 2 3s in only 23 minutes. The Frye guy is losing minutes to a crazy hot..

Markieff Morris Who’s Friday line of 18/4/4/0/0/2 has become pretty common place. The 32 minutes have also become reliable. Markieff is a must own in 12ers but I think we’ve been saying that for a while.

Derrick Williams – Derrick got the start Friday for the suspended DeMarcus Cousins and went 26/12/2/2/0, but Sunday’s 6/1/0 dud in 22 minutes reminded us that he’s still Derrick Williams.

Ben McLemore – I didn’t have high hopes for him with Marcus Thornton out of town and Friday’s zero point outing and Saturday’s 5 TOs in only 21 minutes is all I need to know. He’s losing minutes to…

Ray McCallum – Friday’s 7/1/5 in 23 minutes and Saturday’s 9/3/5 with 2 3s in 29 minutes doesn’t do much in standard leagues.  But with McLemore playing terrible, plus Thornton and Jimmer Freddette out of town, there’s plenty of minutes up for grabs.

Jordan Farmar – Farmar got hot Friday, hit 8 3s and took a bunch of minutes from Kendall Marshall in the process. I don’t have much faith in Farmar maintaining much value.

MarShon Brooks – Also got hot on Friday, went 23/2/3/1 and 3 3s but there’s too many wings in Laker land to trust this one.

Wesley Johnson – I want to trust this one… Friday 12/12/3/1/3 with 2 3s and basically playing 36 PF minutes. Will it continue? I have no idea but I really hope so.

Kent Bazemore – 12/6/1/2/2 with 2 3s but only 27 minutes on Friday. We know D’Antoni is going to mess with his minutes but I would stick with Bazemore as long as D’Antoni does.

Maurice Harkless – Playing more minutes with Arron Afflalo down but whenever he returns Harkless and E’Twaun Moore are going to lose minutes.

Victor Oladipo – 10/0/1/0/0, no 3s, 2 TOs, 2 poor %s in 27 minutes. That’s as bad as it can get. Average that with his monster games and he’s a top 50 guy. If anyone is selling I’m still buying.

Kyle O’Quinn – Got this streamer right, the Irishman puts up 14/15/2/2/1 against the Heat on Friday. Moving forward it’s tough to imagine he can maintain much value in only 20 minutes outside of deap leagues.

Mario Chalmers – 7/2/3/2 with a 3 in 26 minutes due to the blowout. Normally I wouldn’t worry about a blowout but the Heat do it so often that for them I do. I like Rio, but while Miami is healthy he’s real tough to trust.

Dwayne Wade – Another good game with 24/3/4/1/1 in 30 minutes. A healthy DWade is still pretty good.

Trevor Ariza – 40 points, 8 3s, 4 steals. Ariza has had so many big games this year.

Trevor Booker – Still starting for Nene Hilario and goes for 14/7/2/0/2 in 30 minutes. I’m not sure he’s a 12er type guy yet but he’s real close.

Tony Wroten – Wroten was another I liked as a weekend streamer. 19/3/2/1/1, he didn’t kill your FTs and only turned it over twice. I’ll call that a win.

Henry Sims – Starting and still not very good. 7/4/1/1/1 in 25 minutes. You can find better.

James Anderson – I thought he was a solid weekend streamer. 13/2/1/3/1 with 2 3s is good.

Thaddeus Young – Cooling off but did you really expect him to average 30 points and 5 steals? 17/3/5/3/0 with 4 TOs. Still good but not top 25.

JB again – thanks again to Slim for the wrap-up and all the help with comments!  Be sure to buy him a Fosters next time you see him…  I decree March 3rd Slim Appreciate Day!  We didn’t quite get to everyone, but we’re back for the daily recaps again tomorrow morning and I hope everyone had an awesome weekend!
