The kid is playing so well, he got an endorsement from the HoFer whose nickname he co-opted! If that’s not a statement in and of itself, I don’t know what is. I’m the biggest Carmelo stan there is, and the fact that he cosigned LaMelo reflects how brilliant of a kid the Hornets got. Top-50 fantasy player on the year, and he’s only going up from here.

RoCo did his thing double-doubling with four stocks. Tonight, the FG was immaculate but that’s a departure from his season average, which is hovering at a truly miserable 37%.

He wouldn’t give up his moniker that easily, after all. Melo is hardly a fantasy option at this point in his career, but if you’re clinging on to him for the sake of having a future HoFer on your squad, you were greatly rewarded tonight. Seven stocks and incredibly efficient scoring. 3 to the dome, baby.

Brunson can score the ball, and he’s been doing it efficiently. Unfortunately, there are very few dimes for a guard, and he doesn’t give you anything else noteworthy.

Tonight was an anomaly with eight assists, but passing is definitely an underrated facet of Vooch’s game. Nearly four assists per game from the center position is quite valuable.

As crazy as it seems, MCW becomes fantasy-relevant in the ruins that are Orlando’s backcourt. Nice source of assists for the time being.

The Pacers played an ugly game of basketball tonight, and Sumner saw an uptick in minutes because it was over in three quarters. I wouldn’t put much stock into this performance, but it’s something to note for dynasty players, as the Pacers speak highly of Sumner.

A fantasy and real-life revelation this year, Joel Embiid has been just unbelievable. If not for the equally-transcendent performance of Nikola Jokic, Embiid would be the number-one fantasy option. He’s averaging 30/10 on incredible percentages and chips in nearly three stocks a game. Wow.

Shake is an incredible scorer off the bench for Philly, but again, this line is inflated due to the blowout. He dished out four dimes today and he’ll have to do it on a regular basis to have any appeal as a fantasy asset.

Bojan put up this monster line in a road loss to the Pels. He’s having a down year as Joe Ingles and Jordan Clarkson are enjoying renaissances, but remains more than capable of shooting the lights out on any given night. Maybe we’ll see a rejuvenated Bojan post-All-Star break, given that he may still be feeling the effects of wrist surgery.

With Jeff Green and KD out, DJ logged 35 minutes and had a really nice game, though he was arguably overshadowed by Nicolas Claxton, the neophyte. He’s still the more reliable fantasy option of the two and ranks just outside the top-100 on the year.

Tonight Brown shot 10-13 from the field on his way to 23 points and some peripheral stats. Just a few nights ago, he dropped 29. Unfortunately, Bruce’s production is too sporadic and hinges on the health of his teammates for him to be a go-to option in standard leagues.

This team will be hard-pressed to put together 48 minutes of winning basketball without the inside presence of Christian Wood. John Wall’s doing what he can, but it’s looking a bit like it did in Washington for a few dark years before Beal emerged into stardom.
