…It’s time to dress up right, it’s time to get things started on the muppet show tonight! My man John Henson, is back shoving his hands up muppets’s butts! With 10 blocks in 2 games, Henson is doing his best Pepe the King Prawn impression, blocking balls all over the place. We all know that with Coach Kidd at the helm, the SS Deer is likely to run aground soon, and Henson could easily be a casualty, as he’s not really getting any shot at power forward. But he should be in the line up more, I think I can safely say. And that makes me think of who else I think should be in the line up more in the new year, but isn’t currently, I think. Hmm, that could be a theme. A New Year’s theme…

BUY:

Jared Dudley SG, SF

Now don’t get me wrong, when I think venison, I love me some John Henson, but I’m closer to tepid about Dudley. He isn’t much to right home about, but a girl could do worse. He is contributing in all stats aside from blocks, and since Jabari Parker went down, he has scooped consistent touches and minutes. He has hovered around 30 minutes for the last 6 games, going 15.8/5.8/1.8/1.8/.2, hitting 2.1 treys a game, shooting above 50% from the field. It’s a little gamy, but very healthy for you.

Cole Aldrich C

Now you’re in New York, they’ll make you feel brand new, big lights will inspire youuuuu… Ok, I’m no Alisha Keys, be thankful you can ‘t hear me crooning,  but she must have been thinking about the triangle offence and the new, (old) big man is getting the start and running with it. Well, lumbering with it, at least. Coach Fisher mercifully yanked Samuel Dalembert out of the starting spot, and in his last 3 games, Aldrich has put together 13.3/10/1.6/1.6/1.3 in 26.5 minutes per game. He’s only 14% owned, as of right now. Consider it a late Christmas gift, no need to get me anything, really.

Cory Joseph PG

Joseph proved that Christmas wishes really do come true! With Tony Parker on the shelf, he has gotten the start, and has been very solid. In his last 3 games, he has produced 16/4.3/4.7/1/.3, with a trey in 2 outta 3. Just watch to see when Parker comes back, it should happen some time in January, this Christmas wish may have a short lifespan.

Robert Covington SF, PF

This dude has made the best out of a bad situation. He barely played in Houston, but since arriving in Philly, Covington has been an absolute monster, and he’s only 52% owned. He should get burn for the remainder of the season, as his ability to stretch the defence is invaluable. This cat scores, dimes, hits treys, boards, and blocks too. Get a little something shiny for yourself this season, you’ve earned it.

SELL:

Wilson Chandler SG, SF

Chandler posted a 20/10/3/0/1 with a trey on Monday against the Raptors in a losing effort. He has been dependable in Danilo Gallinari‘s absence, and now is the time to sell high, as there are trade rumours drifting on the wind, and while nothing is in stone, you don’t want any part of it, not to mention that Gallinari should be back sooner than expected. Climb out of your food coma and get it done.

Brandon Jennings PG

Jennings has had 2 outstanding games in a row, and appears to be benefiting from Josh Smith‘s departure. But I don’t buy it long term, with no statistical evidence whatsoever to back that gut instinct up. History will back me up on this, Jennings is a percentage killer, and he has shot over 50% in the last two, so that should help your cause.

That’s all for today, cool-cats, Daddy’s tired from all the holiday hoopla. May all your shots be nothing but net!
