I really don’t like this 7 game slate on Saturday night.  If you want to take the night off or play less volume I wouldn’t argue against it.  There isn’t a player over 9k on Draft Kings if that tells you what kind of night it’s going to be.

Point Guards

Ricky Rubio has really been fantastic the past 5 games.  His price has come up but still not to the level where his play has been.  Memphis gives up the 4th most fantasy points the last three weeks to PG’s.  Back on Feb. 6th Rubio had 17-5-5-3 in only 26 minutes against this same Memphis team.

Reggie Jackson has only had 3 games with the Pistons.  Yeah it’s a small sample size, but he’s been given the keys to the car and seeing the same workload as D.J. Augustin was.  The Wizards have been decent defending against opposing PG’s if you look at their season totals, but the last three weeks they haven’t defended well at all.  I think that has to do with all of John Wall’s nagging injuries.

Shooting Guards

We knew Eric Bledsoe was going to be better since Phoenix shipped off 2/3‘s of their backcourt at the trade deadline.  I don’t know if too many people thought he would be this good.   He has averaged 18.4 pts, 7.8 dimes, and 8 boards since the trade deadline.  I doubt Tony Parker is going to slow down the Bledsoe train Saturday night.

Monta Ellis has been just ok as of late.  He faces a Brooklyn team that allows 11% more scoring, 8% more boards, and 9% more dimes to opposing SG’s.

If you need some value, Markel Brown has been getting some run as Brooklyn is trying to see what they have for the future.  He has seen 30 or more minutes each of the last three games.

Small Forwards

I am probably going to fill SF last.  I don’t really like matchups of the top options.

Chandler Parsons is ruled out again. Richard Jefferson and Al-Farouq Aminu are pretty much splitting Chandler’s minutes.  Both are a good source of salary relief.

Consider Otto Porter only if Paul Pierce sits out again.  On Friday Porter started played 37 mins, hoisted up 19 shots, and finishing with 19 pts.

Power Forwards

Greg Monroe lit up the Wizards three games ago for a 15 and 15 game.  Don’t see anything wrong if you want to go to the well again.

Andrea Bargnani is one player I didn’t think I would be writing up at the start of the season.  Well, he is fantasy relevant since the Knicks are so bad.  He got the starting gig on on Friday playing 36 mins in a double OT game against the Pistons.  Barg’s filled the stat sheet with 25 pts and 12 boards.  His price around the industry doesn’t reflect his best game in a very long time.

Centers

Andre Drummond lit up the same Wizards team as teammate Greg Monroe did a few games ago.  Except Drummond had a better game pouring in 18 pts and 16 boards.

Alex Len has been great since the All-Star break.  He has been avg. around 32 mins and has 10 or more boards the last 5 games.  Till his price comes up continue to put him in your line ups.

Rudy Gobert leads the league in blocks per minute as another option.
