It’s that time of year. You’re either chomping at the bit because you’re in a good position for the playoffs, or you’ve sworn off even looking at your league because you’re too frustrated Derrick Rose never helped you out. That’s why it’s an awesome time to check out our friends at DraftKings, where you can draft a new roster every day and win big money prizes. In a special day of contests with an almost full slate of NBA action, it’s a perfect time to hop into one of three different $10,000 contests going on tonight! Buy in for as little as $11! Or you can up your bet for a bigger chance of winning for $109 or $1,050. There’s $10,000 to be won for all levels of players! And I’m gonna help you win that money with some insight on players who are going to be huge tonight that you can get on the cheap:
Mo Williams ($3,000) – Reports are coming out that Mo could return to action tonight, and coach Tyrone Corbin has said he will be immediately put back into the starting five. You’ll definitely need to keep an eye on the starting line-up before you solidify your DraftKings roster (isn’t it awesome you can tweak it until tip! Ok that didn’t sound right), but Mo could give ya 15 Pts and 8 Asts in 30 minutes for a guy that will only cost ya a few peanuts.
Marcus Thornton ($6,000) – As I said in today’s recap, the Bayou Bomber has been unreal of late, putting up 30 3s in the last 10. Playing tonight against the Warriors, look for the Kings to give Thornton another 10 shots behind the arc (he took 11 last night) and get his points into the high 20s again. Great play.
Manu Ginobili ($6,000) – The Spurs didn’t have to extend Manu’s numbers much blowing out the terrible Pistons by 40 last Sunday, but with Tony Parker out and Ginobili getting closer to 100%, look for the Spurs to run him closer to 30 minutes against the Bulls tonight. He’s only one game removed from a career high 15 assists last week, and will be called upon to facilitate the offense. Love his value.
Kawhi Leonard ($5,600) – As much as I only wanted to pick players whose first names started with M, I love Kawhi’s game and he’s been stuffing the stat sheet like a Thanksgiving Turkey of late. Ok so that’s not exactly the most topical reference, but I could have Thanksgiving every week. I expect Kawhi to be in that 14-6-4-2-1 range he’s been in lately.
Steve Nash ($5,400) – Coming off two straight good fantasy games, I think Nash is a great value tonight with Metta World Peace coming off a rolled ankle and Kobe getting his funny bone a little too funnied last night. I could see an 18 Pt 3 Reb 8 Ast kind of night for Nash, which would be great value for the price.
Al-Farouq Aminu ($5,100) – We all know Kobe shoots too much, and in a game where the Lakers probably don’t need too much to win, I think Kobe could be wildly inefficient and Aminu gets 10+ boards. Not to mention World Peace’s bum ankle, and this could be another solid across the board game for the roto-master.
Good luck tonight, win them dollah bills!
