Over the past week, he is averaging 13 PPG, nearly 8 RPG and over 2 BPG. Yes, my friends, Kosta Koufos is on a roll recently. On Chinese Food & A Movie Day, Koufos had a double doubke with 16/10 and a perfect 8-8 in shooting. He’s had 9 or more rebounds in the past 4 games. I just added him in one league. You should, too.
Danilo Gallinari – Hit only 1 of 10, including 3 missed threes, to finish with 7 points, 3 rebs, 4 assists and 2 steals. He’s 6 for his last 31.
Matt Barnes – He led his team in minutes and almost in points, finishing with 20 (3-5 from downtown), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. It was a Christmas miracle!
Rajon Rondo – Despite scoring a team high 19, he again failed to reach double digit assists (19/6/5/3). I’m not saying to be concerned, I’m just saying “Huh.”
Andray Blatche – With Kris Humphries out, Keith Bogans (3/0/0) got the start, but Blatche saw the majority of minutes, going for 6 points, 7 rebounds, an assist, a steal and 2 blocks.
Kurt Thomas – Started, played 13 minutes for 6 points, 3 rebounds, and one each for assists, steals and blocks. Is Amar’e ready yet?
Jason Kidd – Led the team in assists (7) and tied for steals (2). He’ll never be a source of points, but he can really help out with the other stats (<- advice that was useful two months ago).
Pau Gasol – He had 13 points (including 1 three), plus 8 rebounds (all defensive), 6 (!) assists, a steal and a block. By January he should be back to full force.
Kendrick Perkins – In a league full of choice Centers, Perkins went 4/5/1/2/0. Check please!
Mario Chalmers – Call them the big four? Chalmers had 20 points, thanks in part to 4 threes on 8 attempts, and threw in 3 boards, 2 dimes, a steal and a block
Omer Asik – The Rockets had 4 starters finish with 20 or more, including Asik, who had 20 and 18 rebounds, plus 3 blocks.
Nate Robinson – Led the Bulls with 27 points, including 4 of 8 from behind the arc, to add to 4 rebs, 3 dimes, and a steal.
